Hang on a second... That mention of a reboot gave me a mad idea. I think there may be a away to explain all the inconsistencies with '06's plot compared to others. What if '06 was actually at the start of the series, but because at the end of the game there was the whole time re-set thing, it changed the world more than just having '06 never happen. Kinda like the effect the g-wave just had in the comics?

"Oh yes, yes," said Ziona, hugging it again. "You're not jealous, are you Glen."
-
Anna smiled a little at the fact Skye had forgotten that 'Anna' wasn't her original name. "I think we should keep on moving?" she suggested. Her voice was still shy and quiet, but had lost a lot of the hesitation that had been present. "Unless someone's hidden a secret passage at the bottom of them or something," added Skye ----------------- "Heh heh, I don't think we need to worry about that. I don't think the poor guy can talk!"
-
"I'm okay now. I'm okay," reassured Melody. "That's good. You had me worried for a second," said Anna, walking over to her. Melody looked a little surprised at how upbeat and strong Anna's voice was. "How come you're in such a good mood?" she asked. Anna blushed slightly and pointed to one of the gravestones. "It says 'Anna'," she explained. "Huh," blurted out Skye, "but that's your nam...Oh!" ----------------- "And that's why I love you Glen," Ziona responded before staring at the Raccoon. "A name? Hmm. I'll need to think. Is it a boy or a girl do you think?"
-
Mina swallowed, nodded, then hugged Hope. She said nothing but it was obvious she was over her panic attack. "What... what came over her?" Anna asked Skye. "Melody? She... she..." Skye had a hard time saying it. "She died once before Anna. And still remembers it. I guess the graves must have hit home." Anna looked shocked.
-
Anna managed to laugh at the morbid humor. Skye knelt down and felt the nearby pile of earth. "Still damp. They've been dug recently..." Melody however was talking it badly. Her legs gave way and Anna rushed over to catch her. "I don't wanna die," Melody whispered.
-
"Hold on a second Hope," said Melody gabbing Hopes wrist. "I thought I saw..." she began to say as she aimed Hope's torch. From it's light five freshly dug graves were visible, each headstone carved with a name for each of the children. "Well that's freaky," said Skye, his voice quivering.
-
"Well, that... that means we aren't on a space station after all," said Anna Melody gave a small curse as she bumped into some. "Blast it, anyone got a torch? Huh, this feels like stone."
-
"I... doubt it... None of the parts have been all that long so far," said Skye. "And the floor doesn't feel metallic." (ooc: I'm tempted to say graveyard for the final area?)
-
"See any lights, and if not, where are we now?"
-
The Moebian kids quickly followed, not wanting to hang around. "Are we... Are we done yet?" Anna asked
-
"That's the plan!" said Melody as she started to open it. "Just check it's not an airloc... nevermind, this is all fake. I know that!" said Skye. -------------- "I'm just... just enjoying being able to be myself. Not needing to act 'professional' or anything like that."
-
"Agreed. Let's go!" as they set off again. "Don't worry Tikal. I'm sure we'll be out of here soon." "There's a hatch ahead," said Anna. --------------- "Given I was a little girl at the time, it must have been a long time ago, right. So no wonder you can't remember!" Ziona suddenly burst into a fit of childish giggles.
-
"Curiosity drives you to dive under the legs of a mutated space monsters?" Skye asked, eyebrow raised with amusement. "Less arguing, more getting out of here alive! -------------- "You will Glen. That's what's so wonderful about you. You want everybody to be happy. Like doing everything it took to win this!" She gave the raccoon another cuddle. "You did say I could have a plush toy when I visited a different Zone after all."
-
"You do seem to be more.... uh... adventurous than I expected!" said Skye. "There you are!" cried Melody as they reached the corridor. "Are you... you alright?" asked Anna ------------------ "I haven't felt this happy since... well, ok, last night. But if you ignore that it's been years. I guess all that pent up energy since then is on display."
-
"Right... the same way I'm 'just a fox'!" Skye muttered quietly to himself as he ducked under the creature.
-
"Are you sure you're just an inventor?" asked Skye as he ran over to Hope. ------------------- "Aww, that's the first time you've complemented my tail," said Ziona happily, wrapping both an arm and her tail round Glen.
-
"Hope!" cried Skye in surprise when she appeared. "That better not have been a very dangerous thing you just did!" ------------- "Whatta... Whatta we do?" asked Anna. "If they were really alien monsters I'd know. But if they're just actors in suits..." ------------- "I know. Thank you Glen. Aww, its so fuzzy and cute," she exclaimed, hugging it like a child with a teddy bear.
-
"Depends what it's like when we reach them", said Melody, as the saw the path back was blocked by the back of on of the creatures. --------------- "You're... you're fake right...? So we don't actually need to fight our way out of here... right?" asked Skye -------------- "You should have told me it would be rigged Glen, I wouldn't have asked had I known."
-
"Now might be a good time for a teleport Anna," said Melody as she began to turn back. "I'd... uh... I'd rather not... unless I really have to..." Anna unsteadily replied.
-
"Stay behind me Tikal," said Skye, stepping between her and the creatures. He realised that they were blocking off the corridor in and out. "Wait... Skye... he's not following," said Anna. --------------- Ziona clasped her hands together hopefully.
-
"I really hope you're right!" said Melody. "WHERE'S THE WAY OUT?" "I wasn't laughing about that," said Skye, "just at how much we're already acting like-WHOA!" Skye had to doge suddenly as the side of one of the corridors burst open and... something... came out. ---------------- "Careful. They really don't want you to win!"
-
"Anna can teleport, so it would be safe" Skye explained to Tikal. "As long as your comments about us actually being on a station are wrong, yes w-we'll do this properly," said Melody. "But if we are on a s-station, we're getting off ASAP!" She looked back. "Oh &%@£! Whatever they are, they're gaining-OW!" Melody winced as Anna had slapped her on the back of the head. "Wha?" "Mom doesn't like it when we swear!" Skye began giggling. -------------- "Good luck," said Ziona to Glen as the next targets appeared.
-
"A twist? This is more than a twist!" gasped Melody. "Just keep holding on," Skye said to Tikal as he flew along the corridor after the others. "Where's the exit?" "I... uh...." Anna began saying, "I could... uh... maybe... get us all out of here?" ----------------- "Hey, nice shooting!"
-
"Either that of they're also using that aug-reality tech from the game we played yesterday. I-I really wish that's what it is!"
