"Thank you. But I will find some better way to say sorry to you." Skye looked into the crypt. "There's some torches on the wall. It looks like it leads deeper," said Anna. ---------------- "Start waving it. Get them to back off. They're starting to climb my boots," yelled Melody, her voice almost reaching a shriek. ------------------ "I guess we'll need to do some tests to find out," said Ziona with a smile.

"But still, you didn't want to go in the first place..." Skye continued, then looked over to Anna. "That looks promising. Let's check it out!" --------------- "Get ready to grab the torch Hope," called Melody as they got near. "Cause it's either that or I drop you!" -------------- Ziona returned the hug, albeit slightly awkwardly given the large stuffed raccoon. It felt good to be able to be this close with someone.

"I'm sorry I dragged you into this Tikal," said Skye. "I thought it would be fun." "Does... does that go underground," asked Anna, pointing towards a small crypt. ------------------ "Here we go, hang on!" said Melody as she began running. "Eww, this is horrible!" she exclaimed. ----------------- Ziona did so, a little surprised at how easy she now found it to be so close to someone.

"I'll leave that to Skye and his magic! Or just burn them!" said Melody as she got ready to run.

"I doubt that grave was the only way in. We need to find a tunnel or a mausoleum that leads underground." ------------- "I've got pretty thick boots on. Wanna try for the running over option till we get that torch?"

"No problem," said Anna with a shy smile. "So back to the issue of finding Melody and Hope!" ---------------- "Clear a path... Any flaming torches nearby?" Melody asked ---------------- "So do you," replied Ziona.

Skye tried to grab Tikal but failed. Thankfully Anna caught her hand before she hit the ground. "Phew. Thank's Anna!" Skye said with a sigh of relief. "And I fully agree with you Tikal. Let's find the others and deal with... whatever that was..." -------------- Ziona giggled, enjoying the pat.

"I think this has gone beyond funny or 'fake' now!" called Skye as he neared Tikal, Anna reaching out her hand to grab her. --------------- "I second that! At least they're not fast," said Melody, as she suddenly stopped. "There's just a lot of them of front of us too..."

"Shoulda seen that coming," muttered Skye as he swooped after Tikal. --------------- "There's a difference between roller-coasters, and a swarm of flesh eating house-pets!" said Melody.

"Mom isn't here, and you're in trouble!" replied Skye as he tried to fly in front of the figure. --------------- "Good. I've had plenty of experience dealing with over inflated ego's already and don't want any more."

"You've no idea," shouted back Skye. "Now let her go or I'll clip you're *£@$%() wings!" Anna looked somewhat scared at her brother's anger. -------------- "Really? You're enjoying this?" asked Melody ------------- "Just don't go around proclaiming that you're awesome and we'll be fine!"

"I think your ego need a little bit of deflation!" laughed Ziona

"I'm not gonna take that chance," said Skye as he grabbed Anna's hand. "If this is fake, it's not gonna adapt!" His tails began spinning and he took off after the winged figure. --------------- "I am NOT coming back now! Even if you paid me!" -------------- "Careful, you're making me jealous with all this talk of her!"

"Tikal!" screamed Skye as the winged creature grabbed her. "YOU! LET! HER! GO!" he yelled, magical energy begining to gather round his fists. Anna placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry. This is all fake... right?" ------------------ "Yeah! Where's a grenade when you need one!" ------------------ "From what I've heard even if you did she'd turn on you in a heartbeat."

"Get down," yelled Skye, interposing himself between Tikal and the flying figure. ------------------- "Good. Darn this moss, I can't get any decent speed from it." Behind them game a mass, groaning 'Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaao!'. "I don't wanna know what that translates to," muttered Melody. ------------------ "I was actually part of the squad that arrested her. And ended up in the hospital for several weeks."

"Spare us...... I get the feeling you aren't really here to help," said Skye. He turned to face Tikal and Anna. "What do you think?" --------------- "Hold on!" Melody picked up Hope and began running. "Keep that torch facing forwards!" -------------- "It could have been a lot worse Glen. You haven't met my Prime Zone version yet," she gave a sigh. "Talk about feeling embarrassed by association!"

Skye took a step back. "Uh, I know that's how they got though, but are you sure that's the only way?" --------------- "Run?" --------------- "We're not exactly unique though, we've both got plenty of alternates walking around."

(ooc: Um, the DEL's plan was to open portals to different Zones to send the curse through. The werehog Shadow fought was in the Prime Zone, but came from yours through one of said portals) "Just as long as that taste doesn't lead you to start wandering," Ziona warned,

Skye was a little wary of the figure despite claiming to be a friend, and motioned to Tikal to also get behind him. "A friend? In that case, can you help us rescue my sister and Hope?" Skye asked. -------------- Melody took a step forward, only for the moss to give way and her foot to sink into a pool of stagnant water. She quickly stepped back, cursing slightly. Then, by the light of Hope's torch she spotted something. "Is that a chao?" she asked Hope. The chao slowly turned to face them, revealing a decaying rotten face. More and more chao began raising up out of the water, in similar stated of decomposition. "You have got to be kidding," breathed Melody. (ooc: Yes, I know this is ridiculous, but I just wanted to do a Mobian version of my favorite Far Side cartoon. And we had to make sure Tikal didn't see this.) --------------- Ziona gave a laugh. "Sorry, I was just thinking how that response was so 'you'!" (ooc: Huh, That's odd. I was sure I'd put that in my post. Sorry about that)

Anna jumped when the figure spoke, almost landing in the grave herself. Instead she rand over beside, and slightly behind, Skye. "Who... who are you?" asked Skye. -------------- "There's gotta be a way outta here," said Melody. "Either a ladder or a passage or something.... Wait, over there. Was that movement?"

"It... it seems to have closed again!" said Anna. "I'm gonna find a rope," said Skye. "Once I get it tie it round my waist and I'll see if I can open it," he stood up and looked around, spotting the approaching figure. ---------------- "Your torch still working?" asked Melody, moving next to Hope.

"MELODY!" screamed Anna as she disappeared. Both her and Skye rushed to the edge of the grave, not seeing the approaching figure. --------------- Melody landed with an 'oof' on what felt like a thick curtain of moss. She picked herself up. "Hope? Are you okay?" she asked, hearing something rustling nearby.

"Maybe Tikal. It's hard to know what this place is playing at. With luck Hope is right, otherwise..." Skye's voice trailed off. "There doesn't seem to be anything down there. Want a hand out?" asked Melody, reaching down to Hope. ------------- "And are you?"

"Just how ARE there graves for the five of us," wondered Melody. "I dunno Tikal," Skye replied. "Unless something happens to Hope down there. Uh... did you bring a clean change of cloaths with you Hope?" ------------ "You are the one talking me out of work after all!"

"Are you... comfy in there?" asked Melody, unsure whether to be worried or amused. ----------------- "You're making me should like a holiday home," laughed Ziona
