"Get you're magic refined a bit and you can probably given your uncle a shock he'd never expect," said Melody. "And Skye, if we want to have a talk on magic verses technology, why shouldn't we?" Skye mouth opened slightly but he seemed unable to come up with an answer.

Melody pondered. "Creating a perfect robot double is probably a lot easier than a perfect transformation. Then again, it means you need to rely on and build the robot, rather than transforming yourself." "Is it just me or is the talk getting rather heavy?" asked Skye to the table. -------------- "Then that's what I want," said Ziona.

"Well, if you want a bright side Hope, it's almost completely impossible to use magic to become a perfect copy of someone. And if they're that powerful worrying about being copied is the least of your problems. Unless you yourself are involved in the ritual." "At least with tech you have an idea when you're in danger or not," said Skye to Tikal. "Tech needs machine and tools to do anything. Magic just needs will." ------------- "Do we have to 'do' anything?" asked Ziona.

"Even for a joke?" asked Melody. Skye gave a sigh. "That's the downside of growing up with magic. What other people think of weird, unusual or creepy, kinda becomes normal. That's something I think Melody still has to learn."

"Actually I was meaning a 100% transformation, not just the voice," said Melody. Skye looked at Hope. "I guess you find idea's like that a bit weird?" he asked. ----------------- "Good. Otherwise this could get awkward with each of us trying to eat the other!"

I'm ALWAYS up for more RPing. I would also say that wait till even one of the RP's is done will probably take a Long, LONG time! (To say nothing about the possibility of sequels) The only thing might be, if the intention is to start before the other RP's are complete, is wait until after the New Year has arrived, because people could be occupied during the holiday season. Melody laughed. "If I wanted to impersonate you properly, I'd get Skye to help!" "Oh no. Don't you remember what happened the last time you used a transformation ritual to impersonate someone?" Skye asked while laughing himself. In the next booth, the wolf cub listening in gave a start at Skye's words.

"That's good," said Skye, smiling again as he handed Tikal the fork. "Oh, lets just put in a random amount of all these things that could blow up a city. What could go wrong?" said melody in a bad mimic of Hope's voice. ----------------- "I try and hold off having you served up on a plate as well then!" replied Ziona.

"You're not just saying that are you?" asked Skye. -------------- "Well, I haven't been eaten yet!" said Ziona as the kiss ended.

(ooc: Poor Skye's hand must have been tired holding up the cake for so long! :P ) "Not bad? I see." Skye looked a little disappointed. "Liven it up? Maybe you could do it to a rap song?" suggested Anna. "Or have the work done exclusively by hand puppets?" -------------- "I think I'll take the risk of being eaten then," said Ziona, pulling Glen's head towards her to kiss him again.

"My tech skill might not match yours but I'd have a fair idea what you're doing. I think the rest of the girls would be bored stiff though," said Skye. Anna shrugged in agreement. Melody looked for a second as if she'd disagree but stayed silent.

"Like your magic practice maybe?" suggested Anna. "Or when you're building that doomsday weapon you mentioned!" added Skye

"No need to say sorry. It's just kinda awkward eating when you're talking about it." "Either that or you're just worried about what you're waist line is gonna be like afterwords" murmured Skye. Melody shot him a death glare.

"Can you guys stop debating over my stomach and just let me enjoy this," asked Melody, mostly as a joke.

"Normally I'd agree with you. But she hasn't had as much exercise as normal, so it is up in the air."

"Maybe not. If you're proven wrong, you might get to finish it!" said Skye. Anna said nothing during this exchange but was smiling during it. She began eating her own dessert.

"So many doubters? I'm gonna have to prove you all wrong!" said Melody, as she started getting stuck into her sundae.

Skye shook his head at the massive dish placed on front of Melody. He cut a bit of his cheesecake off with a fork and offered it to Tikal.

"No arguments h... OH! Ice Cream!" Melody gave a happy squeal as the desserts were delivered.

"Just pray you never find out," said Skye.

Anna seemed relieved. "That's good. Just as long as your Moebian counterpart doesn't learn that she can do magic too." Both Skye and Melody stiffened. Had they been human, they'd have turned white.

"You... you don't actually mean that?" asked Anna. She was smiling at Hope's joke, but there was a edge of uncertainty to it. Skye laughed. "Unless you know how to actually cook a cheesecake Hope, I would not advise trying to summon one!" ------------------- "I think I better find a stick to wedge open that mouth of your's!"

"It shouldn't take long," said Skye. Anna's eyes went wide at Hope's comment, causing Melody to laugh. "Remind me never to P*ss you off Hope!" -------------- "I though you were worried about being eaten by me?"

While I can understand that it can seem petty, it is worth remembering that the artists for the comic are drawing as a job. You can complain if you say... buy a console or a toaster and it wasn't built properly, or if you pay anyone for a service and they do an inferior job. Even if you yourself couldn't do said job.
