"Hey, that looks nice," said Melody as she spotted Tikal. ------------- Ziona smiled. "It's great how you can go around and lift everyone's spirits."

"Well, if your happy, why don't you try them on?" suggested Melody. "I'll see if Tikal needs a hand." Anna nodded and headed to the changing rooms while Melody went to find Tikal again. -------------- "So what do you make of the island Mina?" asked Ziona trying to start a conversation.

"Have you found yourself a wardrobe?" Melody asked Anna as she caught up with her sister. "I... I think so," Anna replied. Melody looked at some of the items Anna had chosen. "They're a little..." Melody was about to say 'dull' but thought better of it. "They're not very flash," she said instead. "I know... I just don't... feel like standing out.." said Anna, sounding more nervous and shy again. ----------------------- Ziona was half way through a drink when Mina asked about name. It was lucky she'd avoided spluttering in it. She'd been so worried about Glen's name she'd forgotten to think of one for herself. After all, Ziona would either scream 'Zone Cop' if Mina knew about them, or would be suspiciously close to 'Fiona'. Her mind raced, also keeping in mind that whatever she said could be brought up again and again by Glen. Thankfully, something popped into her head. "It's a fairly common name," Ziona said in response to Mina's comment about the name Alister. "And I'm Zoe."

"Take your time," said Melody, as she began walking through the store looking for Anna. --------------- Ziona bit back a joking comment about having a double walking around. "Yeah. People might notice if you missed a concert or two!"

Melody gave a friendly smile at Tikal's blush. "Now, the more important question," Melody gave a wave towards the inside of the store, "is there anything here that catches your eye?" --------------- "Well, it's not an official day off," Ziona confessed, "but I've made sure nothing will happen while I'm away. And the bosses are more interesting in other things right now."

"I suppose so. You do have a rather unique view on things after all," Melody. Anna meantime was browsing the aisle, choosing quite demure clothing. ------------- "Wow, you're good at these!" exclaimed Skye as Miles thrashed him for a second time on the game. "Just more my kinda game than racing," Miles replied. "Even if we are both beginners..." "Yeah, I never had much time to play these kind... well any game before," replied Skye ------------ "Both in my case, though today I'm trying to forget about work," Ziona explained.

"How very philosophical of you Tikal!" said Melody. ----------- "So are you here for business, pleasure, or both," asked Ziona.

"Here we are," said Melody as they reached the store. "It's... bigger than I expected," murmured Anna. ------------ "Thanks," said Ziona, trying to get a look at the drink to make sure it wasn't alcoholic.

"I'm sure he will. He seemed to be having a great time," said Anna. "Yep, don't you worry about him. Just enjoy the walk!" said Melody --------------- "Wanna play something else?" Skye asked, as Miles fluffed his third race in a row. "Uh, wha..? Oh, yeah. How about one of those?" said Miles, pointing at the beat-em-up games. It was either that or work out his frustartions in a more obvious way, and that wouldn't suit his plans at all. --------------- "Thank very much," said Ziona taking a seat. (ooc: Not me thanks, I've enough charries as is!)

"And so do you," said Melody to Tikal. "And you Sis!" she exclaimed giving Anna a hug. "So lets go and have fun shopping!" -------------- "It's okay. I'm remembering the happier times, not the sad ones."

"It's good to see the little supervillain becoming a normal kid," Melody half joked, half made a serious point. ----------------- "Yeah, I shame you'll never get to do so in person."

"Yes. It really is," replied Melody. "It may make him a little less clingy on you though." -------------- Skye and Miles returned to their game, though Miles performance dropped as he was distracted. ------------- "It would have come up eventually."

"You too!" said Skye redundantly! -------------- "Not really. We haven't really had much time to just talk."

"Likewise," replied Miles. "Anyway, we just came to say that us girls are heading of shopping, and Hope will be following later. You'll be ok here, right?" "Yeah, no probs," Skye replied, relieved that he'd have someone to talk to while the girls were away. "Have fun!" -------------- "Okay Al, whatever you say!" laughed Ziona.

Skye gave a large smile when he saw Tikal. "And this is Tikal, Lucas. My girlfriend." Miles shot Skye a quizzical look with a raised eyebrow. There might have also been some jealousy in it, given his unrequited feelings for Mina. --------------- Ziona began following, whispering quietly to Glen. "What should I call you. Might be best to avoid your real name!"

Melody and Anna spotted Skye, arriving just as a race finished. "Having fun?" Melody asked. "Yeah, great fun!" Skye replied. Miles looked round and took a good look at Melody and Mina. "This is Lucas," Skye said, pointing out Miles. "Lucas, this is my twin sister Melody." "Please to meet you," lied Miles. "I... uh...er. yeah... likewise... nice to see... Skye making friends..." "Don't mind her," said Skye. "She's just shy around new people. And this is my big sister Anna. She's just shy full stop!" Anna gave a little wave, a bit reluctant to look the wolf in the eye. Miles hid his shock, but it was difficult. Even knowing Mina had been changed, seeing her so meek and shy, and going along with the sister thing... "Hello," he managed to replied, none of his worry present in his voice. Skye looked to see if Tikal was with them to introduce. ------------------ "Thank you very much," replied Ziona.

"Sounds like Skye might be making friends. That's good." Melody told Hope the name of the shop they were heading to, then went off to find Skye. --------------- "The question is how apt a comparison that is?"

"If you're sure Hope. And good idea Tikal. He was at that shooting game there I think. I dunno where he's gone now." ----------------- "Oh I know," laughed Ziona, as she put her arm around Glen to reassure him that she didn't really mean it.

"I doubt that'll happen Tikal," replied Melody. "She's probably not powerful enough for that. Worst would probably just be a light show." Melody turned back to see Hope was done. She walked over. "Hey Hope. Wanting to keep going, or head to the shops now?" asked Melody. ---------------- "Better to have his stomach talking than is mouth," Ziona teased.

(ooc: I am trying NOT to think of th current family tree now. It was twisted enough already! :P ) Melody began looking for Hope in the arcade, and spotted her. "Better wait, don't want to interrupt her game. She certainly seems rather intense!" She turned to Anna and Tikal. "Keep you fingers crossed that she doesn't get so frustrated that she accidentally causes some kinda magic outburst. It can happen to some trainee spellcasters." ------------------ "That's good," replied Ziona. "It helps keep you grounded in the real world."

(ooc: Heh. Just as well Anna didn't hear what Red said there. That might have knocked her confidence down even more!) "Shall we see what Hope thinks then?" suggested Melody. ----------------- "So... I guess I'm just curious, but what's the celebrity life like?" asked Ziona to Mina.

"Do you want to keep playing Sis?" asked Melody, "Or try a different game? Or go shopping now?" "I... uh... I'm not sure," replied Anna. "Do you have a preference Tikal?" ---------------- "Don't worry about it. At least we all got it sorted out!" replied Ziona, then she whispered quietly in Glen's ear. "Probably best we don't mention the whole Zone thing."

The perfect score flashed up on Anna's screen. She gave a little whoop of celebration, then looked embarrassed at her outburst. Melody screen showed 'very good.' ---------------- Both Skye and Miles appeared evenly matched at the game, and continued racing each other. ---------------- "Don't worry. I know the person you though I was. I'd have been rude too!" said Ziona. "Out of interest, what exactly did Glen tell you?"

This time Anna was doing a lot better. Melody by contrast, seemed to have a little trouble with the rhythm and missed a few steps. ---------------- "I'm gonna beat you!" called Skye. "Not this time!" replied Miles. But Miles was far to worried about what was happening to actually enjoy himself. For now, he was just biding his time. ---------------- Ziona rolled her eyes and started searching through her pockets. "Yeah, you've definitely got me muddled.... Darn, I must have left my ID back the the hotel." She sighed. "Even if I had it I doubt you'd believe it. Okay, what would it take to convince you we're not who you think we are?"

"I'll try not to let you down!" grinned Melody to Tikal as the game started again, this time blasting out heavy metal music. ---------------- To Miles relief Skye didn't ask any more question and they both went back to the game, there talk turning to that subject, then the other games in the arcade. When both boy's were finally defeated, Skye suggested one of the racing games. 'This kid seems really intent to be friendly,' Miles thought. 'Makes it easier for me then.' ----------------- "Me dangerous?" replied Ziona half in shock with the sudden interruption. "I think you're confusing me with someone else. No wait, I know for certain you're confusing me with someone else!"
