"I wonder what a nice normal day would be like?" pondered Melody.

"I suppose so. If you really don't mind." "Not at all," Skye replied. Miles regarded him, beginning to doubt that he was a close alternate of him after all. ------------- "It's a mix of cartoon and live action. It looks a really weird film," commented Melody. ------------ "So should we wait for Glen to arrive or begin without him?" Ziona asked, half defecting the conversation.

"I... wouldn't want to get in the way of you two," replied Miles. Personally, if he'd been with Mina and someone had butted in on them, he'd have been furious. ---------------- "There's humans in it as well," said Anna as she read the back. "That might be interesting for you to see Hope, human's in a film made by Mobians?" ---------------- "That'll be fun to have him hear as well," said Ziona. "I thought he was going to hold off seeing Mina till he could introduce Melody to her," Ziona whispered to Glen.

Skye warmly returned Tikal's smile. Miles also smiled, though just to keep up the friendly appearance. "It would be nice for the two of you if you can enjoy that movie together," he commented. --------------------- "I dunno," replied Anna, "but there's a flying pirate ship on the cover!" --------------------- "What was Mina saying about you and Glen being talking stomachs!" joked Ziona at Glen's outburst.

"Okay then, 'we'! I'm sure we will," said Skye with a smile. ---------- "Rather... colorful, aren't they!" commented Melody. "This one looks interesting," said Anna, picking up a box. "Are you sure. It looks a little.... odd," said Melody. -------------- "Wow. This does look interesting," said Ziona as it arrived.

"Nice choice," replied Skye. "I really hope you like it." Miles was about to object to Hope's point, but decided to stay quiet, and instead appeared to concede the point. Arguing might make it hard to keep close to the group, or worse, expose him. ---------- Ziona decided to let Glen and Mina talk for now.

"Great, C'mon!" said Melody. "Aren't cartoons rather childish?" asked Miles. "I, uh, kinda missed out on cartoons when I was younger," explained Anna. "I'd like to see what I missed."

"We've got a couple of these spy action films," said Melody. "I would also like something... lighter..." said Anna. "Cartoons or comedy?" asked Melody. Skye went up to Tikal and put his arm round her. "So, what did you get?" he asked. --------------- "I see," said Ziona

"It's not like we're in a rush," Melody said, placing an arm round Anna's shoulders. "You've got plenty of time. The only other one interested in him is Mom and, well, she's spoken for!" "Thank you. Both of you," Anna replied

Skye's mouth dropped open when Tikal turned around. "Tikal? Wow. You... you look great!" Anna glanced at Skye an Tikal. "I see what you mean. But you don't need to do anything if you don't want to," she replied, worried about her quiet muttering. ------------ "I'm sure he is," said Ziona

"I... uh... I dunno... maybe... yeah..." replied Anna, even more nervous.

Anna gave a little laugh at Hope and Melody's suggestion. "Okay. I'll... I'll keep that in mind. But I... I'm kinda too nervous now to do stuff like that." Melody meanwhile was also giving a little laugh at Skye's bemusement. Lucas just looked confused.

Skye looked around as he and Lucas reached the girls. "Hey, where's Tikal?" he asked. "Over there," pointed out Melody. "Where?" asked Skye, not recognising her as her back was turned and the hat hid her head. --------------- Ziona gave Glen's hand a reassuring squeeze. "I understand."

Anna looked down at her feet again, but she was smiling happily. "Just don't crowd him, that'll just hurt your chances," suggested Melody. -------------- "Sounds interesting," replied Ziona in reply. Then she took Glen's hand. "Everything alright?" she asked quietly.

Skye and Miles were now within hearing distance of the girls, and Skye began making his way directly towards them. -------------- "Sure thing Tikal. But you might want to chose one of your own, in case you don't like our choices," said Melody. "You... you actually think I might have a chance with Crowley?" Anna asked hopefully. Miles heart sank when he overheard. -------------- "Hmm, normally I'd say meat, but in this case I think I'll try the fish," replied Ziona

There's been an issue with the site over the last day that seems to pass from person to person where they can't access the news or comic areas for a few hours. After that it seems to fix itself.

"I don't think it was ever a secret!" Melody commented. "I just... It's silly. It will never happen. I still want it to. But I feel silly when people bring it up," Anna explained, while looking at her feet. Her loose hair mad it almost impossible to see her face.

"Yep," replied Melody. "Anna wants to watch what looks like Crowley beat up a bunch of bad guys in a volcano base." "Mel-o-dy!" Anna whined, even more embarrassed about Melody pointing it out to Hope.

As Skye went through the store, he began gathering a pile of random boxes based on what looked interesting. It took a whole for him to realise that Lucas wasn't actually browsing himself." "Nothing here you like?" asked Skye. "Huh? Oh, I'm not fond of films. I prefer TV shows," he lied. In truth, he'd been trying to steer Skye closer towards his sisters, to get closer to Mina. -------------------- Melody reached Anna as she was looking at a spy action film. "I think me and Skye saw the end of one of the films in that series a couple of nights ago. It looked fun," Melody said, looking at the box. "I kinda like the look of it," said Anna. "Might that be because the lead looks a little bit like a certain hedgehog?" Melody teased, causing Anna to blush.

Anna found herself drawn to a section on spy thrillers and adventures. Part of her was surprised that such a job would be celebrated in the Prime Zone. It wasn't that far away from her old job after all. --------------- "If you've got your breath back, lets head inside!" said Melody as she walked in. Skye waited outside for Lucas, though it was only a couple of seconds before both boys walked into the store. Melody spotted Anna and headed in her direction, while Skye just browsed aimlessly.

"Okay. I'll... uh... leave you too it," replied Anna to Hope as she started moving through the store, looking slightly lost in the choice. ------------ Outside the shop, Melody came to an abrupt halt. Miles did his best to act as if he wasn't used to high speeds. Which wasn't as hard as he thought; his transformed form seemed to not be properly capable of handling such velocity. "Here we are. Did you enjoy that? Hey, are you okay?" Melody asked Lucas with a note of concern. "I'm fine. Really," Miles replied standing up. "I just... wasn't expecting it, that's all." But another mongoose with superspeed did seem to add more evidence to his 'parallel zone' theory about Skye and Melody. ------------- "You know what, I've no real preference, but I wanna try something unusual."

"They've a screen over there playing a movie," said Anna, pointing it out. "Though it's animated rather than live action.... erm, it has moving drawn pictures, rather than real people playing out the roles." ---------------- "What's on offer?" asked Ziona

"Each of these little packets has a different story inside, like a book, but you need a device to play it on," Anna explained, holding up a box for Tikal to see.

"I... think they will. It looks like another big shop," said Anna, walking inside. ---------------- Melody ran through the Arcade, spotting Skye and his new friend now playing a co-op platform game. "Hey Skye, the rest of us are gonna look round the movie store. Might grab something to watch tonight. You wanna come too?" she asked. "Yeah, sure," Skye began enthusiastically, then a little reluctant at the end, as he wasn't quite willing to leave his new friend behind. "Can I come too?" Miles asked. "Can't see why not," said Melody, then she gave a grin. "As long as you don't get travel sick!" She grabbed Miles by the hand, and got ready to sprint off again, but was surprised when Skye grabbed her other hand. "Huh?" she looked at her brother with surprise. "Well, It's not like I can fly or something like that," said Skye with a significant glance towards Lucas. Melody gave a comprehending 'Oh!' noise, yelled 'Hang on', and sped off.
