Skye Prower

Melody looked at Anna who shook her head. "We're fine thanks" she called. "I'll have one please Shadow," Skye called out. "Uh, me to," said Lucas, standing near the kitchen door.

Melody got a large bowl for her popcorn, and both her and Anna sat cross legged on the floor near the screen. Skye hung back on the couch, leaving a space for Tikal. Lucas looked around awkwardly, not sure where to sit.

"It should be. I saw part of another film in the series a couple of nights ago and it looked fun. Popcorn?"

"Anna chose it actually. It's an old spy-adventure film. It should be good fun. Plus, Anna thinks the star looks a little like..." Melody jabbed her thumb towards Crowley.

Melody went over to the TV and started setting up the film. Lucas was looking around the penthouse, seeming impressed.

"Heh heh, so I see," laughed Melody.

"I think Shadow just solved the problem for us!" laughed Melody. --------------- "None of the three of us would be here if it wasn't for Locke," said Skye, just before Shadow shouted, "nor would Mom either." --------------- Anna jumped when Shadow shouted. --------------- "Sounds just as good," said Ziona, standing up and picking up her cuddly toy.

"Or maybe we can just crowd round the TV with popcorn and wait for everyone to realise what's going on," suggested Melody. ------------ "Very good care, yeah," said Skye enthusiastically. ------------ "You have a private beach?" asked Ziona. "Sound good! Let's go."

"Sounds good. Right," she called to the room. "Movie time!"

"Uh, yeah. That's me. Pleased to meet you," Skye replied. "Likewise Dylan," replied Miles ----------- "Oh yeah. We better get the TV set up. Shall we take over the main room, or camp out in one of the bedrooms?" ---------- "I.. really don't know how to thank you for all of this," said Anna. ----------- "I honestly don't mind. If the beach is anywhere near as crowded as yesterday it's not gonna be personal anyway!"

"I think Anna would like to watch her spy film first, and I think I like the look of it too!" said Melody. --------------- "Thanks... Mom." said Anna with an awkward smile. --------------- "Hello everyone," said Skye as he got back. "I've a friend to introduce you all to. His name's Lucas." Miles tried not to show any fear when he saw not one but two Shadow's in the room. -------------- "I did say it sounded like a good idea," repeated Ziona.

"Well, here we are," said Skye as the arrived at the penthouse. ---------------- "I guess not," replied Melody. ---------------- "I really hope so," said Anna quietly

"Unlike me!" joked Melody

"Lucky you," replied Lucas, a hint of the jealousy he was feeling creeping into his voice. Skye didn't notice and called for the lift. -------------- "That's good. I suppose it's good you don't like to show off!" -------------- Anna glanced back towards Crowley, then gave a shy smile to Red. "I think you might already know!" she said. -------------- "That sounds good, but if anyone suggests swimming I'll hit them with my raccoon!"

"Heh heh. Yeah. Well, there it is," said Skye as they neared the hotel. "Wow. You're staying THERE?" Lucas gasped. ---------------- Finding herself left alone, Anna looked around uncertainly. Her eye's glanced towards Crowley sitting on his chair, then she blushed and looked elsewhere. --------------- "We've been to the Amusement park, and the park-park. What else is nearby?" Ziona pondered.

"Oh! Okay," replied Melody, a little surprised.

"Yeah. C'mon, it's not far," said Skye, leading the way. "That's good. We don't have your sister around to give us a lift," joked Miles, glad his illusion trick had worked. ------------ The two girls gave a sigh of relief, then Melody went over to Hope. "Do you wanna show Rogue and Shadow what you learned today," she whispered quietly to her friend. ------------ "I don't know. I'm open to suggestions," said Ziona.

Skye eventually made his way through the crowd to see Lucas talking with two older wolves, Skye guessed his parents. He couldn't get close enough to hear over the hubbub, even with his sharp ears, but saw them smile and the woman give Lucas' hair a ruffle. Lucas smiled and began making his way back to Skye and Tikal. "They said I could go!" he said happily. "As long as I call them after each film, and am back at our hotel by 9." ------------- The two girls gave another glance at each other, hoping this wouldn't end badly. So far, so good... ------------ "Now we've had lunch, where to now?" asked Ziona

"I guess he must really like his parents," said Skye as he pushed through the seemingly even thicker crowd to try and follow Lucas. -------------- The two girls shared a 'this is gonna be awkward' look with each other when Red arrived. ------------- Weirdest diving expedition ever!" joked Ziona.

"It's.... okay. I'm sure.... it must have been a shock," replied Melody. ----------- "I think I see them!" called Lucas, and he ran off through the crowd, leaving the other two behind. ----------- "Thanks very much. You're drowning us in kindness here!"

Melody was a little shocked by Locke's confession, but then she remembered how Locke had reacted when Skye had threatened to leave. She turned to Anna and gave her a reassuring hug. "See. It's gonna be alright. So why don't we introduce ourselves?" Anna gave a little nod, and Melody turned to Lara-le. "Hi! I'm.... Melody and... this is.... my sister Anna," she said, a little shyly. -------------------- "I think the crowd's even busier now!" said Skye as they made their way through. "There's the arcade ahead," said Miles. ------------------- "I'll certainly try to do so more often," said Ziona

"Sure thing," replied Miles. He'd need to be careful with his illusion spell then. He'd have to be ready to fake it being solid, in case the two tried to interact with it. "I said I was going to the arcade, so we should try back there first," he suggested. "Good idea", replied Skye. ------------ Melody took a few steps back at the arguing pair, while Anna hid behind her, a hint of tears in her eyes. ----------- "Not so bad? I thought it was lovely!" said Ziona.

Melody held up the bags. "A new wardrobe for Anna and Tikal. They needed new clothes after all. And we had a great time. I think Hope might have something to show you to!" "I... uh.. well.. Dad... mmmm, hmmm, hmhhhmmmm?" Anna began to say to Locke and Lara-le before Melody hurtled over to her and covered Anna's mouth with her hand. "I think I have an idea who the new face is she whispered to Anna, so shhh! for the moment!" She then faced Locke. "Uh... do you want to do the introductions?" ------------- Skye, Lucas and Tikal reached the park. "They could be anywhere. If I tell you want they look like, we could split up to find them?" Miles suggested.

"You've got to mix it up now and again!" said Melody to Rouge. "I'd have won if the door wasn't locked," teased Anna. "Only because I had a friend we me. If Tikal had been with us, you would have been running with her and it would have been a fair race!" Melody pointed out.
