"Mina? Afraid? That's not her. That'll never be her," retorted Miles. "I don't know what you've done to her mind, but I'll fix it. I'll break whatever programming or false memories you implanted in her. And I don't know what your friend is babbling about. This is the first time I've seen any of you. Except for Mina and Shadow." "I can't let it go," hissed Skye with a strong amount of venom in his voice. "Not after everything he did to me." Though, Skye made no attempt to move closer. ------------ "I'm... not used to just sitting back... I'm used to taking action," said Melody. ----------- Anna didn't seem to wake when Shadow reached her, but he could just make out her trying to repeat the word 'help'. ------------ "Depends on which report you're talking about Glen," said Ziona.

Miles crashed to the ground as Dylan grabbed his tails, but whipped it around at full speed to free himself, only to be pined by Red. "Let me go. I'm trying to save Mina," he shouted, squirming to get free and lashing out with his tails. Sensing Miles had left the fog, Skye stopped the freezing spell, casing the ice that had frozen to drop and shatter on the ground, clearing the fog a well. Skye picked up one of the larger fragments of ice, and using what was left of his magic reformed it into a blade as he forced himself despite his exhaustion over to were Miles lay. "Let me kill him," Skye hissed, he's eyes still partially black. ------------ Melody looked between Lara-lee and Hope, completely unsure what to do. ------------ "You really have a thing about being more furry don't you," commented Ziona dryly as the reached the fog. Ziona jumped back as the ice collapsed. "That wasn't normal."

"You're not gonna escape!" screamed Skye. He concentrated, and the water in the fog began to freeze solid, threatening to trap anyone inside. As he did so Skye dropped to his knees, nearly drained by his repeated magical exertions. Miles felt the temperature drop rapidly and ice crystals start forming on his fur. He guessed what was going on. He picked up Anna gently. "C'mon Mina. We've gotta go," he whispered before taking off. --------------- "But Skye's already gone. I need to help. Skye might... he might do something really stupid." --------------- "What I would give for a scanner," muttered Ziona as she ran towards the fog.

Sensing the gap in the fight, Miles flew quickly over to where Anna was lying. As he did so, with a few arcane words a thick fog suddenly began to engulf the area. Skye gave a feral snarl, outstretched his arms, and began shooting bolts of magical energy wildly through the fog in the direction Miles had gone. ------------ "Thank's Hope," said Melody, before Lara-le grabbed her. "Let me go, please," Melody begged. "I have to help my brother and sister. I've let them down too many times before." ------------ Ziona and Glen landed near the edge of the park, to see the panicking crowd. "Looks like your guess was correct," she said.

Mile was glad he'd spend time practicing in case Scourge returned. At the last possible moment he leapt away, counting on Shadow's momentum to send him crashing into the ground. He looked around for the next opponent, then gasped in pain as Skye grabbed him by the arm. Skye's had was glowing red, and his eyes slowly turned back as he began draining Miles' life essence away. "Not so virtuous after all," Miles commented smarmily, the headbutted Skye in the face, causing him to let go, though his eyes remained partially black. "How vulgar," complained Miles. -------------- Melody slid to the floor, crying silently. Then she looked toward the window, grabbed her knife, and got ready to follow. ------------- "Ready," said Ziona as she activated her teleport.

(ooc: Ouch. Sorry Rouge. Didn't mean for it to be that bad.) Miles went flying from the punch, blood oozing down his face from his probably broken nose. "Leave him, he's mine," Skye growled as he picked himself up. Miles shook his head clear, then looked at Shadow with a smirk. "I wondered when you'd show up Shadow. This time I'm ready for you." Behind his back, Miles activated a small amulet. Although Shadow was unaware of it, it's magical properties would disrupt his chaos powers if he tried to use them, causing them to feedback on him, or worse.

Miles screamed and buckled in pain, falling to his hands and knees. Concentrating through the agony, he started speaking a few words, and the electricity began following back along the wires to strike at Rouge.

Skye kept above the park, and using his magic, forced the wind to give him a burst of speed. Miles kept ducking through the rides. He glanced back and cursed that Rouge was still following him. Then something slammed into him from the front, causing him, Anna and whatever he'd crashed into to career into the ground. He shook his head and picked himself up, surprised to see Skye doing the same. Around them, the crowd started to gather. "I'm gonna make you pay for EVERYTHING you've done to me!" screamed Skye, magical energy gathering in his hands. "What? I never even met you before today," replied Miles. "And I'll make sure you never do!" Skye thrust his arms forward and a solid beam of energy rushed towards Miles. He brought his arms up, and with a bright flash the beam was disrupted, knocking Skye off his feet. "Pathetic." ------------- Ziona came back out of her room, wearing her chest plate and one gauntlet. "Anyone else wanna come for the ride. Actually, which way did they go?" she asked.

Skye couldn't dodge the blast, but was able to conjure up a shield to absorb the majority of the force. "Three of you now?" muttered Miles angrily. "You're not going to stop me rescuing her." He dived down towards the amusement park, hoping to loose them by weaving through the various rides. ------------------ "Great, the one time I'm completely out of uniform," Ziona muttered, running back into her room to grab her equipment.

Miles looked back to see he was being followed. "So, you CAN fly after all," Miles commented wryly. He suddenly came to a halt as a freak wind buffeted him. Then he realised it wasn't a normal wind. "And you can do magic too, hmm?" He twisted in the air, murmured some words, and similar winds sprung up to hit Skye and Rouge. As they were distracted by that, Miles raised his hand and arcs of arcane energy shot towards the two. -------------- Back in the room, Melody looked panic stricken, shaking and wringing her hands together.

Miles was flying in the direction of the mountains, to where he had his hidden base. Skye and Melody rushed into the room after Shadow. "Where's Anna? What happened to her?" Melody screamed. Skye hurried over to the window next to Shadow and look out. Despite the age difference, he still recognized the fleeing figure. A dark look came over Skye's face, and he jumped out the window after him. ------------- Ziona had just found her swimsuit when Anna screamed, and she hurried to the main room. "What's going on?" she asked.

"Lucas? I think he went into my room to call his parents," said Skye. ------------- "You're coming with me Mina. I'm gonna fix you," said Miles Anna shook her head, and screamed 'HELP!' at the top of her lungs. Miles was shocked for a moment. "You... you just... NO!" He unleashed a bolt of magic at her, knocking her out. Grabbing Anna before she fell, Miles opened the window to escape with her.

‘Zoe?’ Skye thought to himself. If this kept up he was gonna need a flowchart. ---------------- Melody shook her head. “No, not really. Except, well, Lucas was kinda odd at times, and Tikal seemed to think he was interested in Anna. I’m not so sure myself.” ----------------- “Okay, I’ll be back in a second,” said Ziona as she entered her room. “Hmm, I’m sure it was here somewhere,” she said to herself as she began looking for the swimsuit. ------------------ “My memories…?” asked Anna. It was something she had been afraid about. “Those other children out there. Skye and Melody. They aren’t you brother and sister,” explained Miles, causing Anna to smile. “I know that Miles. Except, well…” she shook her head. It would be too cruel to explain it to the fox cub. “I like who I am here Miles. I don’t want to go back. Please, just go.” “How could you rather be this cowering, feeble girl as opposed to yourself Mina?” asked Miles. “Mina is a killer, a butcher, she thinks of nothing but herself and hates children,” exclaimed Anna. Miles looked somewhat confused at her last point. “Anna may be scared. But she has family, friends… a life. And that what I want. And if I need to be scared to have it, that’s a small price to pay. I’m Anna, Miles. Mina’s gone.” “No she isn’t,” said Miles harshly, grabbing Anna by the wrist. “Please go Miles. Don’t make me do this.” “Do what?” Miles asked disdainfully, not realising Anna was about to scream for help.

Melody nodded and Anna headed into the room. -------------- "Uh... I don't think I wore a swimsuit in the dreamworld... or did it...?" -------------- Miles gave a friendly sounding laugh. "Yeah, but you don't have posters of you all over the place." He glanced over to where Hope was putting the film in then at his watch. "I did say to Mother I'd phone her between films. I better do that." "You can use the phone in my room if you want," Skye offered. "Thanks Skye," said Miles standing up. As he walked, he subtly cast a small spell that should keep everyone from noticing his next actions. Rather than Skye's room, he slipped into Melody's room after Anna. Looking around, he saw Anna looking out the window, and closed the door quietly. "Mina?" Miles asked quietly, walking over to her. "What? How'd you...?" Anna began to ask, spinning round. Miles gave a sigh of relief. "You still remember! I'd thought they'd have stolen that from you too!" said Miles as his form shifted back into his normal appearance. "M-Miles? What... are you doing here?" Anna asked in shock. "I'm here to save you Mina." "Save.... Save me?" "From what what the Prime Zoner's have done to you. They've done something to your mind Mina. They've changed your personalty. Even your memories. Please, try and focus on who you were. I can help," Miles pleaded. (ooc: You were saying Red?)

"I don't quite see it, and that would be something you'd notice later, rather than right away..." said Ziona ------------- "Me? Just the shock of a celebratory suddenly rushing in. Do you often hang around with famous people?" Miles asked. ------------ Anna stood up and walked over to Melody. "Can I head to your room for a bit, until things.... calm down?" she asked quietly. "Of course. Do you want me to come with you?" Melody offered. "No thanks. I just need a moment alone."

"I don't mind either one," said Melody to Hope. "I surprised Mina thinks those girls look like her. They're a completely different colour," said Ziona. Anna seemed to be staring intently at her popcorn bowl. Miles sat there shocked. Here was Prime Mina, and she seemed to be acting more like his Mina than she herself was right now.

"That doesn't matter," said Melody to Hope. "They... they won't be as bad as the haunted house?" asked Anna. Then the door opened. "Huh boy.... Introduction's time!" called Melody, standing up and taking center stage before things got out of hand. "Anna, that's, um, Glen and Honey. Glen, Honey; This is Anna," she said, "my older Sis. She... uh..." "She was at a gymnastic summer camp," lied Skye smoothly, except for the twitching ears, "She just got back today. And this is Lucas, a friend." "Yeah, I think that's... every...one..." Melody's word's died as she caught sight of Mina.

"He looks good," said Anna, "but he just doesn't have the same voice." "Okay, I'll give you that. His voice is rather dreamy," confessed Melody. On the couch, Skye's eyebrow climbed in surprise.

"I don't mind," said Anna. "That was our choice, so someone else choose next!" suggested Melody. "So, how did the actor compare to...?" she asked her sister, arching her eyes towards Crowley. ----------- "I think the other girls are spoken for. Or are you that quick to wander," she teased as they reached the hotel. (ooc: I have cunning plan for plot... well, maybe.... So, if our celebratory group arrives before the next film starts, Anna will feel somewhat awkward with Mina there, so after a while will excuse herself. Which will give Miles a chance to sneak after her, and.... we'll see where it goes from there. Does that sound alright?)

"I think the film is nearly over now," said Skye, mostly to himself. ---------- "Why? You almost sound concerned!" said Ziona

"Maybe he just really hated that guy he was working with?" suggested Melody. "Or maybe its that that 'movie' things again." Anna suddenly sat up. "AW c'mon! If you can see the guy you throw the star at his neck, not the hand." "Uh, I think all he could see was the hand Anna," pointed out Skye. "Oh!" ---------------- "Totally agree there," said Ziona as they made their way to the hotel. (ooc: Time this right at the beach party can arrive at the hotel in the break between films!)

"Hmm. Yeah, I guess so," replied Skye. "Hey Skye, why didn't you have a volcano base when you were a supervillain?" asked Melody cheekily. "I prefer my headquarters to be mobile, so stuff like that doesn't happen!" replied Skye with a grin, pointing toward the screen where the bad guy's base was just being invaded. --------------- "I think that sounds like an idea," replied Ziona.

Melody and Anna were completely absorb in the film, and their popcorn. Miles feigned interest, still waiting for his moment. Skye was also having a good time, though.... "Seriously... Did they really think the could pass a hedgehog off as a lynx even with the makeup?" --------------- "My swimsuits back at the hotel, so that makes that decision clear," said Ziona.

(ooc: No worries at all!) Skye put his arm round Tikal's shoulder and leaned into her. "We're ready," he said. Lucas sat down at the edge of the couch, and murmured 'ready'. "Look's like we're all set then!" said Melody as she hit play and took a mouthful of popcorn. (ooc: And for the record, this film is essentially a Mobian version of 'you only live twice'! :P ) ------------------ "It's either that or drop him off at the hotel on the way," said Ziona.

"Thanks, Shadow," said Skye happily as Shadow handed him a drink. Miles also let out a 'thanks', albeit one tinged with confusion at seeing Shadow acting so... domestic. Melody and Anna had made it to the main menu. "Everyone shout when their ready," she called.
