Melody walked over to Hope and clapped her on the shoulder. "You could have done this alone without any of us," she said, half joking, half serious. ---------------- "Or even worse, swallowing them!" pointed out Anna. ---------------- "Lead on," said Ziona happily.

"No, you wouldn't," giggled Melody, then she saw what Hope was doing. If things went south, she got ready to charge at Alicia and launch the magical energy she'd been gathering at Crowley. (ooc: And once again, Hope does something to reinforce Melody's idea that 'Hope is a badass pretending otherwise!') -------------------- Anna laughed. Then put on a mock kiddy voice. "But mommy, I wanna play with the shiny stones!" ------------------- Ziona smiled deeply, then looked around. "Everyone ready? Shall we go?"

Melody couldn't help it. Despite the situation, she burst out laughing. ----------------- "Wellllll, thirty years is a long, long time!" teased Anna -------------- "Worth the wait?" asked Ziona.

"Even with 'someone else' backing you, you're still outnumbered four to one. It was brave of you to come alone." Melody didn't believe for a second that what she was saying was true. She was merely trying to lure out the rest of Alicia's ground. She got ready to lash out the moment they appeared. ------------- "She was somewhat more like you at your age... uh... is... cause there's two of her," said Anna. "Though that might make it more scary, because if she is like you now, then when you're older..." ------------- Ziona gave it another few minutes before appearing at the door. "Ready now!"

"Huh boy," muttered Melody, as the realised the 'chase attacker off' option wasn't going to work. "Dad's gonna kill me!" ---------------- "Yeah, you're not the student or teacher type!" --------------- "That's good," she called back.

"I wouldn't say that. Not at..." Melody broke off as the figure appeared. "Hope, get behind me!" she cried, drawing her knife with one hand and charging up magic in the the other. She snarled at the figure. Sometime on Moebius, showing you were ready to fight was all that was needed to end one. --------------------- "I suppose they can be quite cruel to one another," accepted Anna --------------------- "Patience is a virtue Glen!" Ziona called back.

"True. But all I'm saying is don't expect perfection." ----------------- "Ok Glen. And I do. I'll be out in a minute," called Ziona through the door.

"I... guess not. But I'd be likely to find at least one person who liked me and vis versa surely? Of course, it's all just speculation..."

"Yeah. That would be nice. Maybe that would have been one advantage of school; being around people my age!" joked Anna.

"I don't think Melody will let anything happen to Hope either. They get on really well considering how different they are. And they've only know each other for a few days." There was a very slight hint of jealousy in Anna's voice.

"Hopefully successfully delivering my letter," replied Anna. "I really hope they don't run into any bother there... more-so because they're doing something for me.... If they got hurt because of it..."

"You do know the prime Zone is far from a paradise though, right?" asked Melody as they kept on walking. ------------- "Rouge?" asked Anna quietly, wondering if maybe she'd drifted off to sleep. ------------ Ziona took her time getting changed ready for the beach. For once, wanting to take something slow after the rush of everything that had happened over the last few days.

"Thank's Rouge. I appreciate that."

"I don't suppose.... you'd could check to make sure he isn't mad at me first?" asked Anna

"I suppose it does. I never really though of that," replied Anna.

"A bit of both actually," confessed Anna. "Mostly the former, but I do find him scary even without that now."

Melody looked at Red with a sideways glance. "Is that what you want as well?" she asked. ---------------- "I suppose. But he does scare me a little..." ---------------- "Ah, there it is. How did it end up there?" pondered Ziona.

"Yeah. I suppose you're right. I haven't really had a chance to get to know him.. Though I'd understand if he wouldn't want to."

"But he hardly ever seems happy.... At least... as far as I can tell from the little I've seen of him. How do you out up with it?"

"But she doesn't want to cut off absolutely everything. Anna still wants the two of you to be friends," Melody insisted. -------------- "Would he really mope at us joking he;d have to go to pre-school?" asked Anna, finding that idea almost as funny.

"Starting a new, happier life," replied Melody earnestly. ------------- Anna just burst out laughing at the image. ------------- "I'm sure I'd left my swimsuit right here..." complained Ziona as she rummaged through her room.

"We're.... you don't know.... umm... the prime zone..." said Melody quietly. -------------- "Could be worse. Imagine if it was Shadow! I mean, he's only been awake for... a few years. So he'd be in pre-school!" -------------- Ziona stood up, hugged Glen, then started heading him out the door. "I'll be out in a second."

"Okay, let's go," said Melody, begin to walk. ------------------ Anna giggled. "Sorry. The image of you being in school is kinda funny." ------------------ "That sounds like a great idea," replied Ziona

Melody decided not to comment on Red's point, given what had happened earlier that morning. "So are we ready to go?" she asked everyone instead. --------------- "Yeah, it would be boring if we were all the same," said Ziona. She spoke with Zave for a few more minutes then. "Oh, that your lawyer there? Okay, good luck. I'll try and call again tomorrow. .... You too. Byebye!"

Anna let out a loud sigh of relief. "Thank everything. I don't think I'd be able to cope with being cooped up like that."
