"Somehow I suspect you wouldn't be so accommodating if someone came to your world and caused a fuss like this," said Ziona.

"It wouldn't be good if you DID mind," said Anna. "Hmm, I wonder who this situation is weirdest for though," pondered Skye. -------------------- "Is this your native Time or Zone?" asked Ziona. "Because if not jurisdiction just got helluva complicated, and this mess will need to be sorted out before you can take any suspects with you."

"It's almost funny how close we've become as a family in such a short space of time," said Skye. -------------- "And if that criminal happens to be innocent?" asked Ziona, wanting to know the truth before taking sides.

"That was a nice place. I'd be great to visit there again... huh, you know, aside from that dream world, I'm not sure that I have dreamed since I... came back."

'So Shadow told you about what happened in Skye's head I guess. Yeah, it wasn't fun. I was just a puppet in there...' Melody shivered slightly.

"Hmm, best we either both do it or neither. Who knows, maybe we'll get something like that dream world to ourselves,' thought Melody. 'Just so long as it's not like Skye's dreamworld...'

"Yeah, we do look out for each other," said Anna before Skye could respond. ----------- Melody's eye's widened. "Oh hell I didn't think of that. At least this thing doesn't work at long range so we don't need to worry about time zones and projecting dreams while the other is wide awake." She was quiet for a second. 'Should we... should we try and get ahold of some kind of sleeping drug for us just in case?' she thought.

"Yeah. I can't give up after only a day," replied Skye. ---------- "Yep. Plus I wonder if she and Anna have so funny stories about each other too. I'll try to keep you included as well though Hope." said Melody, then she paused, blinked, then burst out laughing. "Remember when we were joking in the dream about me clinging onto you? With this head thing that just got easier!"

"At the dinner? I suspect there will be. I'd like to talk to the younger Red if I get the chance, find out what Mom was like at my age."

"I know, I'm not gonna give up. I'm just not gonna take every at face value until I'm sure," Skye said, trying to reassure Red, not realizing it wasn't what she exactly wanted to hear. -------------- Melody laughed. "I doubt we need to worry about that. We still need to talk to everyone else!"

"Heh, thanks Mom," replied Skye. "Though it would be nice to have some friends my age, but I'm sure that will happen soon enough. As long as I'm more careful about who I talk to..." ------------- "That's great, save's us having to use magic to fix it up. And I guess it's because there's a kinda unnecessary step here now. Which is funny considering how little effort it actually is!" said Melody.

"I'm not shy! I was embarrassed," protested Skye. ------------- "Perfect? Great. See if it fit's then," said Melody. 'Wow, talking out loud to you is starting to feel odd already...' she thought.

"I'm not normally the shy one," Skye spoke up. "That's normally the role of my two sisters." "That's... that's not true!" objected Anna, though it may have been more convincing if her voice hadn't quietly trailed off. "Oh yes it is," repeated Skye. "But there's nothing wrong with that." ------------- "Okay, you stay out of sight in case things goes wrong," said Ziona, at which point she stood up and began approaching the group. "You there, stop and explain your business in this Zone and Time," she shouted authoritatively.

Skye began blushing himself, a little too embarrassed to even rely. -------------- "I'm going to give them a chance to stand down first," said Ziona. "We only have Berry's word that she's telling the truth after all."

"Hi Red, pleased to meet you... again..." said Skye. "And this is Tikal, my girlfriend." -------------- Ziona powered up her gauntlet laser, ready in case of a fight.

Anna laughed. "Yeah. You can rest assured you'll be keeping a eye on me. And the rest of my family to! I, uh, don't think you've met my.... my brother Red. This is Skye," said Anna. ------------ Ziona quickly caught up with Glen as the two them them hurried in the direction of the cry

Skye sat down next to Red and Anna in the main room. "I don't think I can get tired of you two... Except when you kept trying to advise me on ways to keep safe and... well... the time for that advice has passed," said Anna. ------------- Ziona sighed and ran after Glen.

Skye jumped sightly as Berry talked to him. "Nice to meet you too. Yes, I'm Skye, and this is Tikal. I don't think I caught your name." ---------------- "Are you saying a little bit of you goes a long way?" asked Anna, starting to smile again. ---------------- Ziona leaned in and returned the hug, smiling.

Skye was about to reply to the squirrel when she started talking about other things. "And I thought Melody's mind jumped around a lot!" he said to Tikal. ----------------- "I... I think I understand. But you will come to visit, right?" asked Anna, worried. ----------------- "Okay, I'll try not to," said Ziona.

"Hi, I'm Sk..." Skye began, then stopped as Berry turned away. Skye shrugged. "Good or Bad..." He looked at Tikal. "It sounds like this might not be a relaxing evening after all." He sighed.

Skye walked out of the room with Tikal and looked around. "I doesn't look like everyone is ready yet. Hello! A new face!" --------------- "Great. If you put it on, then we'll see where we need to re-size it to fit perfectly," said Melody. ---------------- "You... can't?" asked Anna ---------------- "I'll try, but it's difficult when our new friend convinced something bad will happen," she said to Glen. "Oh, and we just went for a walk Berry."

"Well, let's see.... This one is quite close to what you were wearing in the dream world at the coronation," said Melody as she held it up, a sight sigh in her mind at the fact her coronation had only been a dream. "What do you think?"

'Cool. I'm sure they'll be something you'll like,' thought Melody as she opened the door. "Hi Hope," she said aloud, trying to put a slight edge of surprises into her voice. "Do you wanna come in?"

"C'mon, let's join the others," said Skye, offering Tikal his hand. ------------------ "Do you... do you want to stay?" asked Anna. Ziona, who was close enough to hear, gave a small, almost inaudible groan.

'Only if you want to! I don't want to force you into anything!' thought Melody.
