"That's everyone ordered but Dylan," said Melody. She turned to the porcupine. "Do you want a little more time?" -------------- "I better cover my ear's," remarked Ziona. "Technically time travel is... restricted... but once its done events all shift around, so proving it's so difficult no one bothers to prosecute. And there are so many loopholes and variables. As long as you don't cause a world ending paradox, you should be fine. Though, interestingly, your time travel methods sound very different to the other's I've encountered."

ButButBut.... I was being serious! I wasn't joking or being mean.... *eyes start to water* (p.s. I'm so sorry Eliza, but I think I liked your old picture better.)

"Bringing back? How?" asked Ziona, eye's narrowing.

Ziona went over and sat on the bed next to Berry, hugging her tightly. "I'm sorry," she whispered, know the kind of pain the girl must be feeling.

Skye and Melody gave there orders, leading Melody to randomly blurt something out. ---------- "Trying to, at least," replied Ziona. She walked over to Berry and Kayl door, and knocked gently.

Skye was blushing thanks to Melody's joke and Tikal's laugh. Anna was glancing between Red and Crowley, not sure who to side with. ---------------- "Yes. One day at a time," replied Ziona. "I wonder how the newcomers are doing?" (ooc: Sorry Eliza, but Ziona and Glen are in a different room from Berry and Kayl)

"Big ego seems to be a common trait with Moebians," said Melody, looking pointedly at Skye. "Wha...? Are you seriously saying I've got a big ego?" asked Skye. "Whatever made you think I was talking about you?" asked Melody innocently. ------------ "We'll make this work," promised Ziona. "NO matter what it takes, we'll make this work."

"She already is ruler," said Anna, confused. "Well, not officially. Some people still think Scourge should be charge. But Alicia is more or less ruler now." "Uh, she wouldn't have been in a month or two," piped up Skye. "So, yeah, things have kinda changed...." 'Sorry. Didn't mean to harp on," thought Melody.

"It must have worked as she was still alive in my time," said Skye. 'Don't worry about it, but we need to be careful in situations like this!' thought Melody.

'Those are some amusing ideas Hope,' Melody thought, partially to agree, and partially to remind Hope not to think loudly. "That... almost doesn't sound like her," said Anna. "From what I heard she wasn't that nice even to her friends."

Melody glanced at Hope at Crowley's last statement, then burst into giggles. Anna gave her sister a quizzical look. "Maybe you could have a chance to rescue yourself?" said Anna. "Or would that break time or somesuch?"

"Well, it'll all part of a new life, trying new things. New experiences..." said Anna. "Funny, I never considered my old life 'mundane' but looking back at it, except of the jobs themselves..."

"Uh, actually," confessed Anna, "I've never had it. I'm sure I'll like it though. Aside from the pasta it's got lots of things I like in it."

Skye pulled a meek, innocent wide-eyed look. "Okay, I'll be good," he said in a jokingly mild voice. Anna closed her eyes and jabbed her finger at the menu. ------------- Ziona gave Glen a passionate kiss. "Yes we are. Thank you. I don't think I've even been happier to have botch an arrest!"

Melody gave a little 'eep' noise and grabbed her menu, flicking through it rapidly trying to choose something. Anna was staring at hers like a rabbit caught in headlights. Skye glanced at Tikal's choice. "That does sound nice. Could I ask for a little taste when it comes?" he asked. ---------------- Ziona manged to smile, letting go of Glen and trying to rub her tears away. "I know you'll never let me down. I'm sure we'll find some way out of this. There must be some legal loophole I can use to stay here." (ooc: I was? I mean, I do, I just never tell people that! :P )

(ooc: Uh, how was that thanks to me?) "I think I've chosen," said Skye putting the menu down. "Anyone else ready?" ------------- "Never let me go. I don't want to be alone again. Not now. Not after I've had this," pleaded Ziona.

Melody laughed. "As does having two of you here I suppose. I thinking a little competition between you two might be fun!" "I... don't know what to have..." Anna muttered to herself. "There's even more choice than at lunch..." ----------- Ziona didn't reply, she just clung even tighter to Glen.

"I think you're holding yourself to double standards there," joked Melody. Both Skye and Anna suddenly busied themselves with the menus. ----------------- "I want... I want to leave the force Glen. I can't take the pressure anymore. But if I go, they'll take me home, and I won't be able to leave. I won't be able to be with you." Ziona broke down crying.

Anna had looked a little uncomfortable at the story, moreso when the blood was mentioned. Melody glanced at the older Red. "I'm surprised you didn't give yourself a slap for using language like that on front of us innocent kids!" ------------ "I don't know what I want," Ziona whispered, a hint of tears in her eyes.

"Oh boy, that one," muttered Anna. ------------ With an effort, Ziona pushed the glass away. "You don't need to," she whispered back, holding onto Glen tightly in case her hands went back to the glass.

"What do you mean?" asked Anna. "Never mind the heavy stuff now, what about the story?" asked Melody, trying to lift the slightly dour mood. --------------- Ziona had already taken a sip by the time she heard Glen. "It's been a long day," was all she said in reply, one hand swirled the glass around while she stared at it, the other hand propping up her head.

"Sorry. I know it must be hard for you to see me as... someone else," said Anna. ---------- Ziona reached the kitchen, took a bottle of wine from the cupboard, sat down, and poured herself a glass.
