"Hi you two. Hope and I are planning to visit the UF with Zamy... Well, okay, Hope will show us round. Would one of you be able to give us a lift there and back?"

"Please enjoy your flight," joked Skye as they skimmed over the top of the trees. ----------- Melody arrived back at the penthouse. "Dad? Shadow? Crowley? Hello?" ----------- "You, lost for words?" laughed Ziona. "And I'm sure for ONCE it'll be a quiet visit!" she said to Zamy

"Okay, hang on," said Skye as he took ahold of Tikal. --------- "Okay. Be right back!" said Melody as she sped off. --------- "Oh, I was tallying it up for later," whispered Ziona to Glen. "See, they're not all that bad," she said to Zamy.

"Okay. Cool. Do you wanna see about paperwork and I'll run back to the hotel and ask one of the hedgehogs for a lift. And let Dad know where I'm going."

"We'll, uh, stick to the good stories for now!" replied Melody. She turned to Hope. "So what do you need to get this set up?" she asked.

"Great.. I think I remember seeing some shops when we were at the video store yesterday. Let's go." Skye offered his hand to Tikal, getting ready to fly back to town. ------------ Melody laughed. "You must have some... good stories to tell!" Ziona began to tickle the back of Glen's neck, but making sure the girls couldn't see it. "Mmm, that's definitely worth something Glen."

"What next? Now we go shopping for furniture and the like," said Skye. --------------- Melody grinned. "That'd be great. But... really, it wasn't fine... And I'm really, really sorry." ---------------- "Aww, you really know how to get back on my good side don't you," said Ziona, leaning into Glen.

Melody went a little shyly up to Zamy. "Uh.. Hi there... I'm really sorry... about how I acted this morning and, uh.... Hope and I were thinking... about going to visit the UF but that wouldn't be fair to you so... uh... er... what kinda things do you want to do... cause we can do one of those, you can have fun and keep an eye on us.... and we... can maybe get to know each other more?"

"Well I think that's everything?" said Skye looking at the list. "Shall we go shopping?" ----------- "C'mon then," said Melody to Hope as she set off towards them. ----------- "Just as long as you don't let the view take over your life," joked Ziona. "Oh hey, it looks like our wards have found us first," she said to Zamy. "Well, one of them anyway."

"If you have any suggestions please say," said Skye. ----------- "Hey, is that her over there?" asked Melody pointing. ----------- "No problem Zamy," replied Ziona. "And it will be harder if you don't screw those eyes of your back in!" she said to Glen in a tone deliberately unclear to whether she was joking or not.

"Good idea," said Skye, pulling out a notebook. "Now let's see..." he began writing down items, reading them out as he did so. ----------- "You know.... Hope, I really wanna see the UF, but to say sorry to Zamy, maybe we should do some kinda activity she'd like and invite her along?" suggested Melody. ----------- "Skates?" muttered Anna as she weaved after Spark. "The hell?" ----------- "Just don't get into a politic discussion with the kid's father then," laughed Ziona, who the gave Glen a playful tap on the back of the head. "I'm right her ya know! And I can hear everything you say."

"Hmm, which one would be best," pondered Skye. ------------- "Actually, I don't think I've even had a chance to say sorry to her yet," Melody realised. ------------- "Same here. I'm guessing from what you've been saying the island isn't exactly living up to your expectations!"

"True. Should I get her an apology card or something?" Melody asked. ----------- "So Zamy," began Ziona as the reached the beach, "is this your first time in the Prime Zone?" ------------- Miles, making sure he wasn't being watched, made some adjustments to the remote link for the portal.

Melody became suddenly very interested in her glass of lemonade. "Yeah, it wasn't the best of starts for her." ------------- "Sure thing. It's just a few steps from the hotel so we won't need to go far," said Ziona. ------------- Miles glanced after Hope as she left. 'Blocks magic eh?' Miles thought to himself. 'There has to be a way I can use that shield of yours to my advantage'

"Ah yeah. She seems a little less cool about the whole thing that Ziona does. Or that might just be because Ziona is rather occupied with 'other' things," said Melody. ------------ "Guess we'll find out, but so far I haven't had any trouble," replied Ziona. ------------ "Have it your way then," said Miles with a shrug, inwardly cursing.

"Hey, yeah! That'd be cool," replied Melody. (ooc: Poor, poor Zamy...) ------------- A few minutes later Ziona appeared in t-shirt and shorts. "All ready?" she asked. ------------- "That's quite impressive. Especially the way int's in such a compact device. How does it work?" asked Miles.

"Not really I'm afraid," replied Melody with an apologetic smile. "I do want to visit the aquarium, but I also wanna save that for a family trip. Aside from that.... something that I haven't done before. Or we could just relax on the beach." ---------- "I'll just get changed into something more suitable," said Ziona, heading to her room. ---------- "Impregnable?" asked Miles with a cocked eyebrow. "That must come in handy."

Melody nodded, trying not to let on just how relieved she was, though with their link that would probably be impossible. "So do you wanna prep today then? Or got other plans?" ------------ "There were some nice looking places at the beach," suggested Ziona, "and we could keep an eye on some of our wards from there." ------------ "Not at all," said Miles, shuddering. "Thankfully the curse seems to have vanished so we don't need to worry about it."

"Yep. So, I was thinking that I'd summon the walls coverings so they'd fit perfectly, then, well, we could either go shopping for it, or I could summon it, though that might take a while." ------------ "N-no, I you want to go I'll come," said Melody. "I'll just need to make sure Dad doesn't find out." ------------ "I tried to be. Had to keep in shape. And I don't think I'm scaring her Glen, but breakfast does sound good." ----------- "Yeah. Maybe something happened with the were-hogs that used to live here."

"You do like your g-ghost's, don't you?" said Melody, shivering slightly despite the warm sunny day. ----------- "Well, I tried going for the department basketball team, but unfortunately that was a kinda closed group. Swimming as well. And, well... I did like gardening when I had a garden." ---------- "It save's us work. But it does raise the question of why this place was abandoned if the project worked," replied Miles (ooc: Because someone blew a hole in the wall and let the were-hogs in! :P )

"Thanks Hope," replied Melody as she took her drink. "Aside from dragging Skye away from Tikal for a few hours, what'cha want to do today?" -------- "Yeah, I guess so. Who'd have thought it?" ---------- "Strange, the system doesn't seem to be really damaged," muttered Miles. (Occ: And the sad part is, even though Miles might believes what he says, Hope is correct)

Melody sat down on the beach, enjoying the view and the sun. ------------ "You never know when things can prove useful!" ------------ Miles slid under the portal with some tools, still muttering and not realising Hope was listening. "This is about saving her..."

"As long as we avoid thinking!" joked Melody. --------- "Yeah. I can think of crazier ideas," said Ziona. -------- Miles continued working, muttering to himself. "I'm not obsessed..." (ooc: Lol)

"Thank's Hope. As long as your head doesn't flare up." -------------- Ziona laughed. "I imagine the idea must be a similar technique. I'll ask him next time I see him. You never know!" -------------- Miles nodded and started taking the cover of the portal, looking at it's workings. 'And that's not the only think magic can do,' he thought to himself. 'Give me a few days here, or a few undisturbed hours, and I'll find a working antidote spell for whatever you've poisoned me with.'
