"Because..." Anna hesitated. "Because I stole my powers from Shadow. Miles used a ritual to copy his Chaos abilites into me. But it went slightly wrong. That's why I'm these colours," she said indicating her black fur and red hair. "I used to be yellow and purple, but Miles was attacked half way through the ritual. But now I want to give my powers up to, well, to apologise to Shadow." She took a deep breath and continued. "Since I changed, I've liked having friends. I want everyone to like me. But I'm not sure if Shadow will unless I truly prove I'm sorry."

"A little is still something. I have some Chaos powers as well, though... I am hoping to get rid of them," Anna confessed.

"You can use chaos powers too?" asked Anna, a little surprise, a waffle held immobile half way between the plate and her mouth.

Anna said something in reply, but her mouth was full of waffle, obscuring the words. She swallowed. "Sorry about that. I meant to ask, what kinda things can you do with your powers? I've seen your alternate form, but that was it."

"That makes a bit of sense. Happy emotions for your light powers and negative ones for your dark I guess?"

"What about you? Any disadvantages to your powers?" Anna asked

"Depends how much I've been running. It's a slight side effect of my power," said Anna. "I haven't done much speed stuff so far today so I'm not too hungry. I also tend to crash out at the end of the day too."

"Spark it is then! Wow! Thanks! That a great lot of waffles. You wanna share?" she asked, picking up the maple syrup from the table.

"Cool Skye. That'll help. And I'll be back soon," said Melody, rushing to the hotel. "Thanks Spark," said Anna sitting down. "By the way, do you prefer Spark or Spark Falls?" she asked.

'Sure thing. I'll be right back,' thought Melody. "I'll be back in a second. Though Skye, if Anna's here we might have distrubed you for no reason." "I thought this might happen. I came prepared." He handed Melody one of his amulets, and anther to Hope. 'If you wear those round your neck,' Skye thought using his transmission spell, 'I should be able to get some readings. It won't be as fast as doing proper tests. But it'll help.' "Everyone here seems to have a troubled past," whispered back Anna. "I'm still learning what Melody's and Skye's were. And eating sounds good. I haven't had breakfast. I wonder if they do waffles here?"

"Yep. Normally that's wouldn't be a joke but an actual kidnap," said Ziona, sighing.

"Sure thing. Hold still," said Anna, reaching out to help the helmet off. "Remember how I told you I was an assassin?" she whispered quietly. "Well, I was training my sister... apparently anyway. And Skye... he once tried to destroy this zone." ------------ "Glad that's over," sighed Ziona. "I'm sorry Zamy. But if you wanted a demonstration of how crazy things can get..."

"Whoa! WAIT! I'm alright!" screamed Anna, causing Melody and Skye to pause. "You.. you are? But..." "Sorry... we thought it might be a funny joke," apologized Anna, running after Spark. "It's okay. We've calmed down. I did warn you!"

"It's shouldn't take too long. Ah, here's break..." Ziona began. "ANNA!" screamed Melody as she glanced up. She drew her knife and the blade flash with magic as she leapt towards the board. "You're not going anywhere," growled Skye. He made a a gesture and muttered an incantation, causing the board Sparks was riding to disrupt. "... huh boy," muttered Ziona. "And I was hoping we'd get past breakfast before the crazy began."

"Just don't blame me if you get badly beaten, or worse." said Anna.

"Let them tire themselves out a little first," suggested Ziona. ------------ "I'd, uh, be careful with that," warned Anna. "what the others did to the last person who tried to kidnap me... it wasn't pretty."

Anna gave a giggle. "Oh, always."

"Why you little..." exclaimed Melody, leaping at Skye. The two children rolled along the ground outside the cafe. "Thank's Zamy," called Ziona, they turned as she caught the sight of motion. "And after we spend all that time saying they weren't so bad..." muttered Ziona as she recognized the scuffling figures. -------------- "Good idea," said Anna, trying to stop the flow of tears. She jumped onto the board. "My brother and sister are proably wondering were I am."

"Friends. It's so nice having friends.... I don't like seeing them hurt either," replied Anna.

Anna managed to smiled at Spark's offered and hugged tightly back. "Thank you, oh thank you," she said back. "Everyone I've met since coming here has been so nice. If... if you need any help with your side..."

(ooc: A minor memory alteration is more okay that a full out 'I alter your personalty'. Still not the best way to deal with a crying girl though!)

(ooc: A spell to remove character traits....? That actually sounds kinda evil. But what exactly does this spell do and how does it work. Though it probably won't be fully successful as I'd hate to get rid of her character development.)

"No, not another side... Or maybe it is now, I dunno..." Anna took a deep, shaky breath. "I... I was a terrible person... I... I killed people for payment. An assassin. But I... I saw exactly where my life was leading. Walking on front of me. It wasn't what I wanted. It was what I was trying to avoid.... It... it broke me... but I gained something else, a family, friends. A good life. But just there... the person who I was... the killer... came back..."

Anna grasped onto Spark, sobbing heavily. "No it won't.. I slipped back. Oh god, I slipped back. I thought she was gone, but she's just waiting to take over again," she said, her words interrupted by her sobs.

Anna used the nearby terrain to jump against, allowing her to reach the ground safely. She stood for a moment, going over what just happened. Then she started sharking, and fell to her knees crying.
