"I'm trying!" said Stacey

"Seeing if I can sense any lingering magic," said Stacey.

"I don;t either," said the pool. Stacey still looked worried, but headed to the edge of the now empty pool.

(I wasn't sure) "Yes it is!  How would YOU like to be an immobile pool for water?" asked the voice. "Uh... are you sure?" asked Stacey

"It is to me if I'm stuck in a pook," said the voice "Why would the room be locked?" asked Stacey confused.

"Would you like to be locked in a room the rest of your life?" asked the voice.

"Now now, don't be rude!" laughed the voice.

"I dunno!" said Stacey.  "But it means no more magic pool!"

It didn't take long to reach the libary.  Stacey went over to where the pool was, and gasped when he saw the now empty swimming pool.

Stacey moved at a fairly quick pace through Haven.

"Let's go," said Stacey, heading off.

"It's possible," said Stacey.  "I won;t know till i look."

"But some of the magical energy might still be there!" said Stacey.

"Yeah... how about... we go to the pool and see if there is any magic left there we can use," suggested Stacey.

"You're mumbling again.." said Stacey.

"Oh, right..." said Stacey. "Maybe if you tried being a little nicer, you could have the friends she had without being a wet blanket," suggested the Voice.

"Why, it's true!" said Stacey.

"You just... didn't have the same spark," said Stacey.  "Though you were nicer."

Stacey just grinned.  "You know I... kinda missed you when you were...er... a wolf."

Stacey couldn't help but laugh.   "You're so stubborn!"

"Oh, yeah.  You don't care when I say sorry," said Stacey.

(True, but I think he still feels closer to the other lynx's than his new family for now) "I'm sorry Sarah..." said Stacey.

(Well, he is half from that world.  And Stacey is the only one of the three who doesn't have a family Haven-side.  I think he might be a little home sick, which is another reason he's trying to be friendly with Sarah.) "I know, and if the Raiju had behaved properly we... you could have gone home." said Stacey

Cool!  Can;t wait to see them!

"Hmph, most of the Raiju back home were only too happy to follow orders," said Stacey sounding bitter.
