"Thank's for putting up with all the insanity that is me Angel," said Skye, not breaking off the hug. ------------ "Can we all least wait till we've finished rebuilding, so the whole thing doesn't collapse when you do that."
-
I'm right here, but I think you're getting your continuities mixed up again. Hmm, Knux, will you be on early today?
-
Skye beamed and hugged Tikal. ------------- "That's what happens when you declare yourself 'Guardians of the multi-verse' for no reason and with no competition," said Ziona.
-
"So you... you really don't mind?" asked Skye timidly. ----------- "Why do you think we kept needing to bring Prime Sonic in to do our dirty work?" pointed out Ziona. "And yes, you better make the call now."
-
I get the feeling this is a trap, but okay. Spark, pull me out if I get into trouble, ok?
-
I'll stay over here with my baseball bat, thank you. Cheery, I don't suppose you can stop the throwing balls around thing?
-
"I think most people were laughing at it. You sounded upset," said Skye ----------- "Even moreso with the post-war rebuilding and still trying to finish No-Zone Jail from Scourges escape," replied Ziona to Zamy. "And we can trust them most of the time Glen. it's just that some of them can be a little... superstitious when it comes to destiny and that kinda malarkey. Especially the Captain."
-
So....
-
Skye jumped. "Oh, Hi Spark. Why is everyone scaring me today?" -------- "The Zone-Cops should really from a dedicated Anti-Magic unit," said Ziona.
-
*Pulls out baseball bat. Slams pokeball away* No one's trapping me in a glorified Kinder Egg! Hmm, looks like I hit it towards Locke.
-
Skye laughed. "That's good to know, but you still seemed... uncomfortable about the whole thing," said Skye. ------------ "What on Moebius were you talking about?" asked Anna, causing melody to grin. ------------ "Just don't mention any of that destiny rubbish to some of our co-workers Zamy. Some of them believe in that stuff so much they might try and see it fulfilled themselves! And I doubt, if it is a Moebius version, that his is that powerful. Assuming there are even walkers on Moebius."
-
Skye shuffled his feet awkwardly. "So, uh, yeah, I like experimenting with magic, and given transformation rituals are kinda a specialty of mine, yes, I like doing that too.... You must think I'm really weird..." ----------- "It might have done. Or it just might have left him so weak that he can't move any of his limbs properly. I guess we won't know unless he's given a medical examination," said Ziona
-
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz.... OW! What's this ball thing that's bounced off my head. Dylan, do you know what it is?"
-
"The first probably led to the second. It might be something to do with them, or they might just be weak like it appeared his legs were," said Ziona.
-
"Yes, I think so," said Ziona standing up. "He's just dead to the world right now. Your trip outside must have been exhausting for him in his current state. Did you notice anything that could hint at what that horrible looking injection did to him?" asked Ziona as she left the cell.
-
"Uh, quite a lot of choice," said Skye as he started rummaging through the cupboards. "Erm, Tikal... About what was said in the infirmary..." ------------- "Did I miss anything?" asked Anna as she entered the infirmary. ------------- Ziona carefully slipped her hand round Miles neck and sealed the clasp, but the fox didn't stir. Ziona then gave him a slight poke, but there was still no response. Starting to feel a little worried, she picked up his arm and felt for a pulse.
-
"Okay then," said Ziona as she quietly made he way into the cell. Miles head moved slightly, causing her to pause, but he didn't seem to stir.
-
"Do you really believe that Dylan?" asked Melody with an amused look. ----------- "I think Skye was in the infirmary... Oh! No, he's not," said Anna ----------- "Either we say it's part of his sentence and he has to wear it, or we sneak in there if he is dozing, or we force it on him. I doubt he'll take it voluntarily."
-
"So, uh, wanna get something from the kitchen?" asked Skye awkwardly. ---------- "For now it seems," said Ziona.
-
"And if the Zone Cops keep up there record, next time will only be in a couple of days," continued Melody. "That means I'm gonna miss the party!" ------------- "Afraid so. No one here is fireproof. And very few people have any sort of powers. You just happen to be hanging out with a rare group that contains a lot of them", said Anna as the reached the infirmary. ------------ "Even still, I'd have thought it was a risk," said Ziona looking on the cell. "But I've brought this. The little trinket that Red said would drain his magic. She suggested putting it on a necklace for him to wear, but i'd think he'd recognize it if we did that."
-
"We'll need to remember this for the next time," said Melody. -------------- Miles sat back down in the cell. He picked up his book, but almost immediately his head started to loll and he appeared to have drifted off to sleep. "That''s pretty lenient of you Zamy. I'm surprised you trusted him that much," commented Ziona.
-
"I had hoped one of the upsides would be she'd stop him going supervillain on us again, but, well..." Melody gave a bitter laugh as she pointed towards her legs.
-
Eh, why not. I'll go for the safe option: Locke
-
Skye jumped. "GAH! Tikal? Whew, don't scare me like that." ------------ "Agreed. That's one downside of him having a squeaky-clean nice girl girlfriend," said Melody. ------------ Ziona arrived back at the cells, and looked around. "Glen? What happened to...?"
-
"With much mushy words and doe-eyed gazing no doubt," said Melody. "Kinda a one side discussion though. Not like Tikal would have any unusual interests." -------------- "I know." Miles tried to stand, but his legs gave way and slightly and he dropped to one knee. "I think my center of balance is all wrong," he muttered.
