"Well that's just typical," muttered Ziona, then she heard Hope speaking. "But if that was the case, wouldn't it take days to drop off, not hours?" (ooc: So will you be playing Zouge Shadow? And my thoughts on the whole injection is that Miles' magic acted as an accelerant on it's effects. Otherwise his tail would still be attached)

"There isn't any would Glen. I don't think this is something that can be 'healed'," said Ziona.

"She one of the best we have, the question is does she have a window in her scheduled. If so, great. If not, hopefully she can recommend someone," said Ziona.

"Sure thing. I'll go and get started," said Skye happily. ---------------(ooc: and mood whiplash!) "Thank you," said Anna quietly to Zamy. "Shh Miles. They're not gonna take you to jail right now." "What's gonna happen next," wondered Ziona. "I hope whatever councillor they send is gonna be a Darn good one." She turned to Glen. "Still be what?"

"Well, anything really, but I'd be best to keep it simple is. I was gonna make myself a fry up..." said Skye. --------- "I can't beleive you put that on him in the first place," said Anna as she gently patted the back of Miles' head. Ziona didn't reply, but gingerly, in case Anna had been wrong, unclasped the necklace and took it off the fox's neck. "What are you gonna do... Shouldn't the arresting squad be hear by now?" asked Anna.

"Okay, sure thing. What does everyone want?" asked Skye as Melody handed out a couple of waffles. -------------- Ziona nodded and entered the cell, only to be met with a glare from Anna. "I'm.. just gonna take the necklace off Anna," she explained. (ooc: Now, ooc, do we want to keep the necklace on or off? I have a workaround if we want to keep it on. Show of hands please)

(ooc: Yes. Poor little Miles. Not quite the towering presence he had at the start!) "I could make some more if people want?" offered Skye enthusiastically.

(ooc: which part exactly?) "Yeah. Thank's Dylan," said Skye as he set the tray up. "Let's see.. 2..4..8..9... plenty. Anyone else want a waffle? I've one or two to spare," offered Melody

"Hey Melody. I brought you a surprise," said Skye as he entered the infirmary with the try of waffles. Melody's face lit up. "Wow. Thank's Skye!" ----------- "I know Glen, I know," said Ziona sadly. "She we take that necklace off Zamy? After the shock of losing his tail..." Ziona asked uncertainly.

"This isn't ideal, but in this state... I think put him in jail now and we'd have a corpse by the end of the week."

Ziona closest her eyes for a moment trying to think. "Okay, we have the team pick up Hope, and drop of one of our... well, we've gotta have some people on staff to help people through traumas," suggested Ziona. "Once he's a bit more... stable.. we could do his evaluation here as well."

"Hehe, if you say so Angel," said Skye picking up the tray. "I'll be back in a minute Spark. I'm gonna surprise my sister with some waffles." ------------ "This is worse than anything I expected to happen," said Ziona to Glen. "Sending him to Zone Jail in this state is not a good move. I suppose we could call in that we have a medical emergency with Miles to delay his transfer. It's not exactly far from the truth," she whispered back to Zamy. Inside the cell, the mongoose and fox still clung to each other.

"It looked more like the waffles!" teased Skye. --------- "I don't think yelling at her is gonna help Glen," said Ziona. "And given how sick he was before I think he did feel it." Miles looked back at his one remaining tail. He tried to spin it like he use to, but it only moved in a normal fashion. Crying, he knelt down and started reaching for the detached tail, but couldn't bring himself to pick it up. Recovering from her shock, Anna went over to Miles and hugged him tightly. "I'm so, so sorry. This shouldn't have happened to you," she said, starting to cry as well. Miles sobbed into her shoulder, holding on tightly.

"Is everything okay Tikal? You seem a little... distracted," said Skye as he rummaged round the kitchen for a tray. ----------- "I think I'm gonna be sick," muttered Ziona. "What... What is it...?" asked Miles fearfully. He looked behind him to see his detached second tail. Words failed him.

Skye began cooking another batch of waffles. He looked back and saw Tikal. "Are you SURE you don't want any?" he asked amused. ----------- "But removing them completely?" asked Anna, sounding horrified. "Please. I'll wear one of those power suppressors you have in the jail. Just take this thing off," Miles pleaded, trying to walk towards the cell door. As he did so, his limp tail caught on the bench and, to Anna's horror, detached itself, leaving him with just the single tail. However, there wasn't any blood, and Miles didn't seem to notice. Anna stared in shocked silence.

"Okay, sure thing. Here's the first batch Spark," said Skye as he served up the waffles. -------------- "You can get this Darn thing off me!" shrieked Miles in panic. "Calm down. You know the only person who can do that is the one who put it on in the first place. Otherwise they'll get shocked like you did," said Anna. She looked up. "Who was it?" she asked angrily. (ooc: Ouch... that was a bad bit of exposition there. Sorry.)

"Nope. Well, we can use fire to cook food, or we used to till tech made that kinda obsolete. Now fire is more of a danger or a hazard. But by the sound of things our worlds are very different," said Skye as he began making the waffles. "You wanting some too?" he asked Tikal. ----------- "Is he even awake?" asked Ziona as she returned. "Weird? Is it something to do with..." Anna's words died as she caught sight of what was round Miles neck. Miles looked down and his eyes widened in horror. "Oh nonononono," he managed to speak, his voice sounding terrified. He tired to undo the necklace, but then jerked with pain as if he'd been hit with an electric current and slid to the floor. Anna gave a scared cry of 'Miles' and knelt down next to him.

"Sure thing. One batch of waffles coming up," said Skye as he began preparations. --------- "C'mon Miles. Wake up," said Anna shaking him. "M-mina... wha?" murmured Miles as he opened his eye. He shivered. "I feel weird."

"You... eat fire. Huh, okay. Sorry I can't cook that. I can make some good waffles though. Or do you want to try something new?"

"That's not a good idea. Believe me, I know from experience," said Skye. "I'll cook you up something. A simply fry up, or something more ?" ---------- Melody shook her head as Anna left. "That's a lot of concern for your kidnapper." ---------- "Miles?" asked Anna going into the cell. "Mmm, whast... don wanna fowow..." murmured Miles in his sleep.

"Nah. As everyone here will probably tell you, we don't really need privacy for showing affecting to each other. I think the word they keep using is 'wuvy'..." Skye said with an amused look. ------------- "Anna," said Ziona as she reached the infirmary. "Miles will be picked in in about 5 minutes but..." The was a rush of air as Anna shot off to the cells. "But he's sleeping," finished Ziona with a sigh as she walked back. ------------ "Do I have time to say goodbye?" called Anna as she screeched to a halt outside Miles cell.

Interesting to note, apparently other characters in the Sonic series will be showing up, despite Sonic Boom only featuring the 5 announced characters.... And the game producers ARE sticking to what happens in the show, due to the whole 'No Chaos Emerald' thing... So, does that mean other Sonic characters may crop up in the cartoon?

Disappointing, but not in the least surprising. I hope at least they have continuity, despite having a reset button after every episode (Even AoStH had recurring characters and references to past episodes). And if the series is a success, who know, maybe it'll change as time goes on.

"I was kinda meaning what I did earlier today," said Skye sheepishly. Then he noticed Spark's sneaking away. "You don't need to go." ---------- "Okay, I'll go and get her," said Ziona jogging off.

Sometimes he is around this early. But okay, I'll take a seat. In the mean time... Hmm, Dylan again?
