... I think you missed a page ShaDuck. Um, are we on 35 or 36 now?
-
But you buy those things in stores right, so why shouldn't it have a tag
-
"Thank's Daddy," said Anna hugging Locke, doing so to relieve her stress. ------------ "He's sleeping and Hope is gone, shall we leave now?" suggested Ziona.
-
"Oh my god," breathed Skye.
-
Skye looked up. "Watch what?" he asked, looking around.
-
"Make sure it's next to mine!" said Melody. ------------ "Cheer up Glen, and stop trying to project yourself onto the kid," said Ziona.
-
"Anyway, never mind me," said Melody trying to change the subject. "How are you doing, what with...?" "I'm... not sure. Even now I don't know if he'll..." Anna shook her head. "But, uh, I actually came... because... uh... I don't have a room here in Haven yet..." ------------ "We'll make sure you don't."
-
"Okay. But right now his head seems safe. I should be fine," Skye replied. ------------ "Is there anything I can do to help?" asked Anna. "How about stop asking that question," snapped back Melody. "I'm... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lash out. I just don't like being stuck. I'm trying to smile my way through this but..." "It's alright, I understand," replied Anna. ------------ "And I'm here for you when you need me," Ziona reminded him.
-
"Oh, don't worry. Demons are easy to stop.... er... might want to put a circle of salt around Spark just in case though..." said Skye. --------------- Melody smiled as she set up the bookstand. A few moments later Anna stuck her head round the door. "Are you doing alright Mel?" she asked. "I'm.. uh.. okay Sis," replied Melody. ------------- "Maybe you'll get a chance to see them again," said Ziona as she placed an arm around Glen to comfort him.
-
"Thank you," said Anna as the left the cell block. She started walking through Haven then paused. "I haven't even been given a room here yet!"
-
A small update, there's one person already interested. So we're on the way to getting something set up.
-
"Oh, sorry. Erm, well, Dylan and I have gone into Spark's head, to see if his memories of his sister are strong enough to bring her back to life like I did with Melody," Skye explained. ------------ "I hope so," said Melody, choking back a sob. "Found a stand let?" ------------ "If you could let me know when he wakes," said Anna quietly as she left the cell. Behind her, Miles was sleeping peacefully. ------------ Ziona was unsure whether to laugh at the story or comfort Glen about missing his friends.
-
Anna breathed a little sigh of relief at the distraction form Glen. She tried to push the memories of her work to the back of her mind.
-
"Oh, thank goodness. I was worried this thing wouldn't work in Spark's head... um... did you overhear our conversation?" ----------- "Sorry Dad," apoliogised Melody. "But I don't like feeling helpless like this. I'm afraid I might be really insufferable in a couple of days," she warned with a smile. ---------- Ziona face fell. "I... see... At least he had access to cybernetics."
-
"Well, not anyone...." said Anna, suddenly quiet. "Otherwise you and I would be having a very different conversation, if at all..."
-
"Maaaaaaybe not the loyal bit... " smiled Anna
-
"No, I'm the one the super-villain hires to deal with the pesky heroes!" replied Anna, giving a more genuine smile
-
"More normal than mine," replied Anna downcast. "I guess you don't get many schools for people like me. They're aren't exactly supervillain academies," she tried to joke badly, trying to perk herself up.
-
"I see. I was kinda hoping you'd have some funny stories about a normal educati..." Anna stopped mid-sentence and looked away, slightly embarrassed.
-
My game was cancelled today, so I'm still around. Dylan? Are you still around as well?
-
Skye looked at the leaf concerned. There was no answer from Tikal. Maybe it couldn't communicate from inside Spark's head. He decided to give it one more go. "Tikal? Can you hear me?" ------------- "Thank's Dad, but I don't want you waiting hand and food on me." ------------- "Though less teleporter accidents I hope though," smiled Ziona
-
"Any other funny academy stories?" asked Anna.
-
"Some.. kinda stand maybe," suggested Melody, trying to sound upbeat. ---------- Anna burst out laughing. "Poor idiots!" --------- "You make everything sound so grim," said Ziona
-
"Guess that's the risk of training! What happened?" asked Anna interested. (ooc: Sorry Dylan, be we are kinda stuck without Spark.)
