Actually I'd say he looks hungry! 60

"I certainly have made your life a bit more interesting since we met," laughed Melody. "Yeah. He's been gone a long while," said the older Melody. -------- "Thanks Zamy," said Miles with a slight nervous laugh. He rubbed his forehead and felt his hair sticking up. Embarrassed, he patted it down, but again it just sprung up higher.
-
"Of course. Let's hope there isn't an emergency. We've had enough of those today," said Melody. "That sounds like a good idea," said the older Melody. "I do hope Locke and Red agree." -------------- "Just a little," said Miles with a cheeky grin. "Yay! Another strike!" he whooped.
-
I'm really not sure 56
-
"And your bosses don't mind you taking a little break?" asked Melody with a grin. "I hope not, though I'd prefer to be... fixed first," replied the older Melody to Dylan. ----------- "I'm glad we didn't have a wager on the outcome here," said Miles with a grin, as his two shots left a single pin standing.
-
"Shame. But at least now we can keep in touch," said Melody. ----------- "Oh I do," said Miles, still laughing.
-
"No problem," said Melody, awkwardly adjusting her siting position, needing to use her arms to move her legs. "I guess this means your vacations over then?" -------------- Miles started laughing. "Remind me never to play against you. Or throw anything at you!"
-
"Ah, one of those missions. Say no more," said Melody. ----------- "Huh?" Miles looked at Zamy somewhat confused.
-
"Where is he? At the bottom of the ocean?" asked the younger Melody, only half-joking. The older Melody glanced towards Dylan. "It's just I... never had a real friend like she does," she said quietly. ---------- "I'm not sure about your use of the past tense. Those traits are not going to just magically disappear," said Miles.
-
"But I wouldn't have it any other way," replied Melody, also laughing. "You said a com-link with Shadow. Is he out on a mission? Should, uh... I don't want to say this, but might it be better if you were working on that problem?" ----------- "It's a bunch of old men who have had absolute authority for too long," said Miles. "And Anna and I do still seem to get along, even if she did say she hated some things about me."
-
"Have you had a productive few hours?" asked the younger Melody. "I got dragged to a battlefield!" ------------ "I'm guessing you don't care for the company," said Miles. "But I don't want to be somewhere where I won't see you or Anna," he confessed. "Not that's I'm going to bug her or stalk her or anything," he added quickly.
-
"Thank's Hope. That's great." The older Melody shuffled her feet somewhat awkwardly, feeling a little jealous that her younger self had such a good friend. ------------ "I... could stay at Haven , as Skye doesn't seem out to kill me anymore," suggested Miles, hoping that Zamy would agree as it would mean spending more time around her and Anna.
-
"Yeah. Oh, by the way Hope, do you have a handy communicator for the two of us. Save me having to get Dylan to make the call for me?" asked Melody with a smile. ----------- "I'll just need to practice a bit more," said Miles. "You... mentioned earlier about have to work out where I'd be staying for a while..."

(ooc: Heh, lol. Okay then.) "I know, the thing is..." Skye sighed. "I can't guarantee to Melody that a new body will be the same as her old one. It will be different, maybe only in small way. Maybe big ones. I can't even promise she'll still have her speed. That scares her. But at the same time, being different is something... Memody," Skye stumbled as he tried to pronounce the nickname, "say's she wants." -------- Ziona pulled Glen tighter, ignoring the pain from her injuries.
-
(ooc: Uh.... That might be a while Spark. These conversations can last a long time! There is a reason we're at 803 pages! :P ) "And I'm sure Mom and Dad will like the idea," said Melody. "It will be nice for them to have an actual child." ---------- "Right, I'll try that," said Miles, concentrating. He threw the ball but, while he got it to spin, it missed both pins. "Awww."
-
"Useless, why?" asked Skye. "I'm not sure it is with my older sister. The damage done to her body is horrific." -------------- "Then why don't you enjoy it while it's here?" said Ziona, wrapping it around Glen.
-
"I thought as much when Skye brought up something similar," said the younger Melody, "so I didn't ask since then. But thank you Hope, that's great to hear." -------------- "You've obviosuly had lots," said Miles, his own ball leaving a split. "But does being at a different angle make it harder? Even if you do seem to be standing normally right now."

Not one I hold to, I have to say. 42

Heh. That's a nice mantra! 40

Well this is getting a little odd! :P 38

"If you and Mom say no, I guess she has no choice," said Skye. "But she isn't gonna like that." "I'll catch up with you later for another race!" Anna called after Spark. --------- "I didn't think of it like stuff your counterpart would do," said the younger Melody, sounding uncertain about the idea for the first time. "But I wouldn't call it weird." "Wanting to change permanently is a little weird," said the older one. She turned to Hope. "I'm surprised she hasn't tried to get you involved in some transformation spells." (ooc: I think I need to emphasize this point, yes, the idea is weird. However, Melody doesn't see it that way because, well, she IS weird. Though it has been called to my attention that I haven't made it clear that she's the weirdest one of the family. Basically, this all stems back from when Skye and Melody were Moebius Royalty, and both wanted to have at least temporary escapes from their unhappy family life. Given they be recognized, they'd need disguises, and if you can use magic, well, it's kinda obvious. Skye saw these transformation disguises as pretty much that, a way to get around without being recognized. Melody on the other hand become more enraptured with the idea of transformations.) --------- "I think that one was more luck than skill," said Miles, grinning from ear to ear at the compliment, "but I am starting to get the hang of it." While another strike eluded him, his aim had definitely improved as the game progressed. --------- "But you already caught me Glen. So we need something else to run after," said Ziona with a soft smile.

Don't cry Fluffy. We're gonna get home and find you mother. *Get's ready to go through ring, pauses, then offers Fluffy his hand* (ooc: What, are we going to end up in a sitcom of something? :P But, er, I'm not good with comedy at all. Expect the black comedy variety.)

I'll assume my usual role here of saying the fault is all mine and nothing to do with you. Now, onto something more cheerful! Shame I'm out of ideas! 81

It's gone quiet. Looks like I killed a conversation again. 79

"Memody?" asked Skye, turning it over in his head. "Oh, I think I get it.... maybe...if your meaning my 'twin' sister, not the origonal. But why do you think she doesn't want to do it? She suggested it!" ------------- "Maybe for once we'll get a dream," said Ziona.
