Then Dylan feel in, the Harmony pushed Skye, then Skye and Dylan pushed Ziona." ---------------- Ziona dried her tears and looked up at Glen. "Thank you Glen. I know you'll look after me. But... you shouldn't..." Ziona seemed to be struggling coming up with the right words. "You shouldn't put yourself after me all the time. It's not fair," she said. "But... does this mean you'll let me be a kid for a while?" she asked. --------------- "Hmm, where do you think? Kitchen? Basement Lab? Library? Infirmary?" asked Melody ---------------- "There you are Dylan," said Miles as he picked himself up, guessing what he'd tripped over. He reach out a hand and, following the sounds of crying, found the invisible Dylan. "Dylan? Are you okay?" he asked.

Skye nodded and smiled again. "Do you want us to stay in the library for now?" asked Harmony.

"Spwecial pwromwise now. I can't brweak it," said Skye smiling back. "If only that were true," Harmony whispered very quietly to herself.

"I'll behawve! Pwromwise!" said Skye. He extended a fist with his pinky finger extended to Zamy. -------------- Miles prepared to cast his spell, starting to walk down the corridor. Only to trip on the slumped Dylan and crash to the floor.

Skye nodded frantically. "I hawve. I hawve. Can I... mwake it better?" --------------- Miles stopped searching as a thought occurred to him and he rested his face in his hand. "Right. Chameleon." He started to cast a spell.

Harmony and Skye walked over to Zamy. "How, what do you have to say Skye?" asked Harmony. "I'm sowwy Zwamy. I've mwade your job much hawrder. I'll thwink before I plway with magwic or Zwone Cops now." ----------------- "Dylan? Where are you?" called Miles, checking in the rooms on either side of the corridor.

Skye had started crying harder after Harmony's smack. Harmony knelt down, then forced his ears back so she could look him in the eye. "Skye, I know you won't like me bringing him up. But what did Father ALWAYS say about dealing with magic?" Skye's eye's widened, "Awways thwink it thwrough," he said. "Exactly. And this is even MORE important for you to do now, you being a kid an all. So, promise me that when is comes to magic, you'll stop and think before you act." "Okway Harmoee. I pwromwise," said Skye, nodding his head. "Good boy," said Harmony, hugging her brother. "Now, do you understand why it was wrong to through Ziona in the pool?" "Becuase she dwidn't want to?" asked Skye. "Annnnddd?" prompted Harmony, pointing towards Zamy. "And... she... she can't do her job now, so Zwamy's job is very, very hawrder."

Ziona held on tightly to Glen, still sobbing but less frantically. When Glen said he wouldn't leave, she managed to smile. "I'm s-sorry Glen. I didn't mean to end up like this. I wasn't gonna jump in the pool. I knew you wouldn't be happy." She gulped and repeated 'I'm sorry'. --------------- "The only question is where," said Melody as they entered Haven. Melody's head immediately sprung up. "Hey, do you notice that? There's... a strong taste of magic in the air," said Melody. -------------- "Uh, well... There's... been an accident..." said Anna. "The swimming pool got curse with some kinda magic and Dylan, Skye and Ziona fell in. Now they're all kids. And, er, different species too." Anna paused. "Maybe I should have put that more tactfully." ------------- "Skye?" said Harmony, walking up to her brother. Skye peaked out slight from behind his ears. "Harmoee?" With a sudden movement Harmony smacked him hard on the back of the head, knocking him over. "Do you understand just how thoughless and dangerous what you just did is?" shouted Harmony. Then her voice softened. "And yes, I know that applies to me as well."

Harmony nodded. "Fair enough. Just, make sure you're right about that..." She walked over to Skye.

Harmony nodded and started walking towards Skye, then paused and turned back to Zamy. "Er... Are you sure it... YOU who's enjoying seeing them miserable. Given those memories my father gave you..."

Skye's thoughts about Tikal, how angry Glen and Zamy were, about how his Dad might react, and the sight of his friend running past crying set Skye off too. He pulled his ears to cover his face as he started crying, siting with his back against the pool wall and his knees tucked in. ---------------- Anna came hurtling into the kitchen. "Mom? Dad? you here?" she called breathlessly. ----------------- "Well, Spark said something about shortening the duration to one or two weeks, and Miles might come up with something before then," said Harmony, hoping it would perk Zamy up slightly. "Hmm, and maybe I can beat Skye's personally shift out of him so he can help too. I probably won't go quite as hard on Dylan though. He isn't my brother after all. But I'll make sure the two of them get the message." She turned then stopped. "Looks they might have started to get the message already," Harmony said seeing Dylan running off and Skye slumped, both crying. "It seems playtime is over," she remarked dryly. ----------------- Miles cursed as Dylan started running. "Dylan, wait," he called after, getting to his feet. He sighed. "I better go after him. No telling what might happen in his current mental state," Miles muttered as he ran after the Chameleon.

"I know he is. I just... For some reason I thought he wouldn't be able to speak. Not that he just needed to be taught." Max tried to get the first syllable right, but it sounded more like he was coughing.

Ziona started to cry as Glen left. She ran after him, calling his name. As she ran her wings began flapping. Being unused to the motion it was freaking her out, making Ziona feel worse. Then they cause her to leave the ground for a moment, and the shock made her stumble and fall, grazing her knee as she landed. She looked up and gave another pitiable cry of 'Glen', tears streaming down her face. ------------------- "Oops!" muttered Skye, seeing what happened. Slowly he remembered why Ziona was running after Glen, which brought something else to his mind. He looked at the floor. "Twikal" he said quietly. ------------------- "Anna," said Harmony in a firm voice, realising that things had suddenly stopped being funny. "Go and find Mom and Dad. Tell them what's happened here." Anna nodded and ran off, heading to the kitchen, while Harmony walked over to Zamy. "I'm sorry, a lot of this mess is my fault. Remember what we were saying about being to rash? What can I do to help you out. it's only fair I do," she said to the Zone Cop in a serious voice. -------------------- Having finished the wall, Miles put another spell on it, making the words 'Warning: Cursed Pool' appear in glowing letters on each of the walls. Then he frowned, as the words shifted of seemingly their own will to 'Enchanted Pool.' Miles shook his head and walked over to Dylan. "Why did you do that?" he asked. He didn't sound angry or upset, but maybe slightly disappointed. "Think how you felt after being changed. And now you've done it to someone else." ------------ "Yes we do. Let's see if we can find him," said Melody.

A look of intence concentraion appeared on Max's face. "Kee... eee...ee...m..me... Kee-MEE!" Max jumped up and down as Kimi swept him up and hugged him. "You're a great teacher," said Kimi to Fluffy.

"Glen?" repeated Ziona, worried by his lack of response. She looked over and saw the slumped Zamy, and her eye's dropped to the floor. "He's not gonna huwrt us?" whispered Skye to Dylan and Ziona. Harmony was watching the scene, then glanced at Miles. who was casting a spell. She "What are you doing?" she asked. "What does it look like," he replied a a two foot wall appeared around the pool. "I should have done that sooner."

The shout of anger caused Skye and Ziona to jump. Harmony, Miles and Anna all looked in Glen's direction. Skye hid, scared, while Ziona slowly went over to Glen. "Glen I... I know you won't like this. But... It isn't going to last forever." The tone of Ziona's voice made it clear she wasn't sure if this was a good thing or not. "Please. You know this is something I want. Let me have this time, and I'll never do it again. I promise." (ooc: I'm really sorry about this Glen.) -------------- "I'll... I'll try not to Tikal," said Melody, holding Tikal tightly. "Even if the worst happens, we've still had this moment."

"I don't think she'll be fired. It wasn't her fault she fell in. More like... Sick leave," said Harmony. "Actually, knowing her, I don't know if she'll want it to be shortened," said Anna. Ziona was pulling and tugging at her wings, trying to get used to them. Skye went over and grabbed her arm. "Don't pull so hawrd. You just huwrt youwrself. And don't worry, you'll get used to them soon. Then you can fly!" "Fly? Really? I can fly now?" asked Ziona excitedly.

Ziona's face broke into a wide grin. "Yeah, I wanna play!" she said happily, grabbing both Skye and Dylan by the hand and dancing round ring-a-ring-a-rosies style. "Anyone know where Dylan keeps his camera?" asked Anna, becoming somewhat desensitized to the weirdness and now more amused. "I think Zone Jail might have been better," Miles muttered. Ziona suddenly stopped dancing, a look of distress on her face. Her wings were staring to flap. "Somethings wrong. Somethings very wrong," she said in a whisper, then looked at Dylan. "Did you say I was a bat?" She looked at her back and saw her wings. "Weird. Really weird. Really Really weird. Really Really Really Weird!"
