"Good!" said Harmony.  "You taken those painkillers?  Cause I'm about to start stitching." Skye nodded.  "M-mostly.  It was more of a c-case that F-father was going to d-destroy my s-soul and possess my empty body to l-live longer, but that's a m-minor distinction." ------------ "What was that?" asked Stacey. "You might be wrong," said the voice.

"I did it to try and bring my sister back," said Skye.  "I'm not proud of it.  And this is... I suppose rehabilitation is the best way to put it." Harmony gave Veran's leg a poke.  "Don't be so mean to my brother.  You try living in No Zone for several years after you father tries to kill you and your mother throws you out!" ----------- Stacey just shook his head "You don;t know that!" said the Voice.

"I think she misses you," said Stacey. "Didn't I say you needed to treat them as equals," said the Voice.  "Or would you like to grow wings again?"

"Because... I... uh..." Skye looked down "He tried to destroy this Zone," said Hamrony, still focused on Varen's leg. "HARMONY!" ----------- "But you two were friends!" said Stacey. "He makes a good point!" said the Voice.

"I came here because... long story," said Skye.  "Same with my sisters.  The Zone Cops are here to keep an eye on me and the others.  As for the Ninja's... we'll... they're.... sorta magic copies of me, Dylan and Ziona, so..." ----------- "What?  Why won't you?" asked Stacey. "Yes, why not?" asked the Voice.

"How many.... well first it was me and Dylan.  Then my sister.  Then the Zone Cops,  Then my other sister,  Then my third sister.  Then the five ninja kids.  Then Seviper and his kid.  Then Dominic's parents.  Then you guys.  And that's just the ones who are staying here right now," said Skye. ---------- "And we'll find Zoe soon!" said Stacey (Yeah!)  

"You've got a hole in your leg, what did you expect!" said Harmony. "At this stage given how many people have moved in recently I think they're resigned to it!" laughed Skye. ---------- "I hope so!" said Stacey

"Do you have anything?" asked Ziona. Stacey went over to Mark.  "You alright?" ----------- Zoe was in her room, sighing as she lay on her bed, staring at the mural she and Sarah had painted together.

(I never like stating thing about other people's characters in RP's.  It just not fair play) "Would rather have your leg turn septic and have to be amputated?" asked Harmony with a smile. "Don't worry," said Skye walking in.  "They'll like you.  I'm sure of it!"

Ziona looked to the kids and saw there faces.  "It's alright.  He seems to still have his mind."

"You... okay Seviper?" asked Ziona.

"The leg isn't broken, but it's a pretty deep wound.  And it's not been cleaned properly yet."  Harmony was carefully washing the wound, which would probably sting.  "It'll need stitches and he should stay off he feet for a while.  And he'll need to take some medication in case he has got an infection." (Is this okay?  If not I can change it to suit what you want Katmuffin) -------- Stacey held his hand out, ready to create his fire sword if he had to.

"Because he's my friend," said Stacey, then gasped as he saw Seviper change.  Ziona tensed, ready to react.

"I hope you're right!" said Ziona following. "I'm looking for Dominic!" said Stacey

Stacey sighed and started looking for Dominic.

"Oh.. right," said Stacey.

"Okay Sarah, but if you ever want...well, anything, just ask," said Stacey.

"Here you go," said Harmony handing over a couple of pills and a glass of water.  She got to work examining the leg again.  Skye came to the infirmary door, waiting just inside. ---------- "Okay Sarah..." said Stacey. "I'm not sure that's a good idea..." warned Ziona.

Yep, that sums it up.  Thankfully, it's just some of the fans who push it that way, not the games.  Heck even Shadow the Hedgehog (game) isn't really THAT dark.  At least not much more than the whole 'using living creatures as batteries/CPU's' standard Sonic plot.

Oh, that's easy to explain! See, such characters are often seen as 'cool' and 'adult' by young teens, not realising they take things to such extremes then more often end up 'ridiculous' and 'childish'. So, when teens who enjoyed Sonic in their childhood reach their teens,some don't want to let go of their childhood favs, which is fine.  But they want their favs to 'grow up' with them, which is understandable, but can lead to problems.  Such as on influx of over the top grim-dark fan characters so these teens feel that Sonic is now more 'adult' and acceptable. Missing the point that they're still dealing with cartoon talking animals! ;-p  Personally, I've always seen Sonic as 'superheros but animals' myself.  So... maybe we shouldn't be surprised there are some people who want to see a 'dark age'.

"Skey's the chef!  You'll need to ask him for one," grinned Harmony.  "Okay Veran, you want some painkillers?"

"Maybe he's been eating too many pies?" joked Harmony as she placed Honey down on another bed and started gathering medical supplies. 

"Are... you sure?" asked Stacey. --------- Harmony's ears twitched a little and she smiled.  "Here we are, let's get grumpy onto the bed," said said as she entered the infirmary. 

"because you seem unhappy," said Stacey. ------------ "Aww, she's so cute," smiled Harmony as she carefully carried Honey leading the way to the infirmary. 

"Do you want me to carry your sister?" Harmony offered. ------------ "Is....?" asked Ziona with a note of concern.
