"Sure thing," said Skye hurrying off to get more ice cream.  He soon came back and handed out the dishes. -------- "That's.. true," the Voice admitted.

Skye looked to Myra and the others. ---------- "It doesn't?" asked the Voice.

"Alright.  Does everyone want the same flavours?" asked Skye. ---------- "I created them," replied the Voice.

Zoe giggled.  "So more ice cream?" "Darn, I thought they'd forgotten!" muttered Skye. --------- "How?" asked the Voice.

Zoe grinned back then hugged Dominic. ---------- "Nor can you," replied the Voice.

"It's still not fair," said Stacey pouting a little.  "We could use magic to..." "Stacey, NO!" Skye interupted.

"Thanks Dominic!" smiled Zoe. "You don;t have powers?  Awww, that's not fair!  Everyone should have," said Stacey making his sword disappear. ------------ "But they might not!" replieed the Voice.

"I can control wind!" said Zoe proudly. --------- "I don;t think they will," said the Voice.

"He still could set the table on fire," said Ziona. --------- "No?" repeated the Voice.

"Yeah!  I do!" grinned Stacey, forming a fiery blade in his hand.  "Dominic and Zoe have powers too!" "You shouldn't do that at the dinner table!" said Ziona leaning over. ----------- "After all the effort that went into growing them, you;re just going to let them wither and die," said the voice.

"So what if you opened a portal to a world full of lava?" asked Skye. ---------- "Those poor flowers," said the Voice.

"It could have been, and it still went wrong!" pointed out Skye. ----------- "If you didn't like flowers you wouldn;t," said the Voice.  

"Yes, you are.  Or Stacey wouldn;t have been a wolf a few hours ago," said Skye. ---------- "Then why were you watering the flowers earlier?" asked the Voice.

"Look Dominic, it's just that you and the others are too young to use magic safely, that's all!" said Skye trying to pacify everyone. ---------- "It was in a way," said the Voice.

"I can;t think of any," said Skye. -------- "Because you worked on it," said the Voice.

"Really?  Like when?" asked Skye. ---------- "Why?" repeated the Voice.

Ziona cleared her throat.  "Well just earlier today Stacey cast a spell wrong and ended up turning himself into a wolf and Sarah into a bat." "That wasn't my fault!" insisted Stacey.

"Oh, you have NO idea the prank wars he had back home!" laughed Harmony.  "Our poor butler though...." "Er... It's more the kids aren't allowed to play with magic without supervision," said Skye.  "It always seems to go wrong for them." "I DOES NOT!" shouted Stacey. ----------- "Why not?" asked the Voice.

"Of course not," laughed Skye.  "Don;t worry about that!" ----------- "Don;t  you like them?" asked the Voice.

"I'm not a mom.  Just a mage!" said Skye with a slightly creepy grin. ---------- "Because the sky and flowers are nice," said the Voice.  

Skye laughed.  "Careful, too much ice cream and you'll turn into it!" he teased. --------- "I think it looks nice," said the Voice.

"Well.. I... still want more ice cream,..." said Stacey. "I get the feeling I'm outnumbered here!" laughed Skye. --------- "Why?" asked the Voice.

"Not fair!" said Stacey "I thought you were watching what you ate?" asked Skye. -------- "What is it?" asked the Voice.
