Skye Prower

Stacey stared at Luna for a moment, then hugged her extremely tightly. --------- "I think it is," said the Voice --------- "Okay, focus on not letting it go out," said Skye as he slowly handed the flame over. -------- "Ahh, did he ever smile?" asked Hamrony grinning.

"Great!" said Skye, opening a hand and creating a flame from it.  "Okay, hold out your hand, and I'll try to pass it to you.  Try to focus on its energy!" -------- "In which case the book needs a better cover," said Harmony smiling.  "Oh?  That recently?" she teased. ---------- "Of course I did!" said Luna, a little surprised too. -------- The Voice laughed.

So in the end I did end up getting Pokemon Moon.  Not much to say about it yet, as I haven't got far in, but it does seem a little heavy on the handholding and lots of dialog and cutscenes at the start. Having said that,.... maybe I'm going crazy.... but I can see signs of a Pokemon / Sonic crossover!  

"Don't worry, there are wards in place to keep us safe, and I'll be ready to dispel it.  Besides, if you don't manage it's more likely to just pop out of existence than hurt anyone," said Skye with a comforting smile. --------- "True, but first impressions count!" said Harmony.

"You... you.... you called me Son?" asked Stacey still a little surprised. -------- "Too early for you to sulk?" teased the Voice. ------ "I'll create a flame out of magic, then hand it to you, and see if you can control it," said Skye ------- Hamrony laughed.  "I'm on Tirade's side!  I've never seen you not sulk!" 

"O-okay," said Stacey coming in.  He gave a surprised squeak as Luna hugged him.  "It's good to see you back to normal Son!"  Stacey's eyes widened a little at 'son'. ----------- "Really?" asked the Voice.

"In short, practice.  And having a talent for magic, not everyone does," said Skye. -------- "Someone's sulking!" smiled Harmony.

"He is?  That's great!" smiled Luna. ---------- "Going to sleep now?" asked the Voice

"Oh, I see," said Luna. -------- The Voice was silent.

"Nope.  I've just boiled it down to its very,very basics.  It will require more than that," said Skye. -------- "Maybe he ate too many enchiladas?" said Harmony. -------- "There you are?  Where have you been hiding?" asked Luna. ---------- "Sorry," said the Voice.

"Concentrating!" smiled Skye.  "See.... the reasons people do funny gestures and say funny words when they cast magic ISN'T because that's how magic work, but because Magic requires focus, and doing certain gestures and words helps that focus." --------- "Only after I asked," smiled Harmony. ---------- Luna laughed.  "Okay Son.  C'mon in!" ---------- "Why?" asked the Voice.

"It is," nodded Skye.  "And takes a lot of control, but we can start by showing you how to make fire!" --------- "No problem.  Just next time you boys swallow your pride and ask for help!" said Harmony. ---------- "Who is it?" came Luna's voice. -------- "That the best retort you have?" asked the Voice.

Stacey reached the room.  "You wanna knock bro?" he asked. -------- "But you do!" said the Voice. ---------- "Sure thing!" grinned back Skye.  "Got anything in mind you wanna try?" --------- Hamrony sighed and went over to help.  

"Let's check!" said Stacey. ----------- "You're so proud you huff rather than admit you;re wrong!" said the Voice.

"I dunno.. their room maybe?" suggested Stacey Skye looked back as he ran.  "Do you wanna take it slow, or shall I put up some barriers and you can try something a bot more advanced?"  "Er... do you want any help?" Harmony called after Tirade and Varen. ----------- "There you go again!" said the Voice.

Stacey and Zoe followed Dominic. "Sure!" grinned Skye, starting to run off. "See you two later!" Harmony waved at Tirade and Varen. ------------ "Doesn't stop it from being a point," said the Voice.

"Okay," said Stacey getting up.

"Great!" grinned Zoe.  Stacey looked a little put out but didn't say anything.

"Great, we can head to my lab and start practicing there," said Skye. "You should get a good night's sleep here... assuming you're not still paranoid!" smiled Harmony.

"Let's go!" said Stacey getting up. "I wanna come too!" said Zoe.

"We've still gotta show Mom and Dad I'm back to normal!" said Stacey to Dominic. "You wanna try some magic?" asked Skye to Myra "Sleepy already?" asked Hamrony to Varen. --------- "Oh really?" asked the Voice.

"So what is everyone gonna do after dinner?" asked Skye. ---------- "Because it is!" said the Voice.

"Okay, okay!  You win!" laughed Skye. ----------- "Just amusing," said the Voice.

"I guess everyone with a sweet tooth does," said Skye. ---------- "Is that all you have to say?" asked the Voice.

"Don;t all kids?" asked Skye with a smile. --------- "But that still doesn't mean they will," said the Voice.
