"You do know Dominic," said the Voice.

"I didn't say you shouldn't." said the Voice.  "But is Dominic the best person?"

Ziona gave a happy sigh.  "I suppose... this can't last too long and we'll need to make sure the kids are in bed." ------------- "Leaving the kid with someone else?" asked the Voice.

"Knothole?" asked Skye looking around.  "But it looks.....uh... n-nevermind...." He started squeezing one of his tails with his hand.

Ziona slipped an arm around Seviper and rested her head against his.

"I believe I'm fine.  I'm not detecting any damage yet," said Skye as he ran a quick diagnostic and sat up.  "This may sound a strange question but... where am I?"

The dinosaur gave a happy little 'rawr' as he was petted. "He'll last around a day," said Skye.  "I used a ritual spell so that Dominic's one would stay around forever."  

There was a crackle in the air, maybe looking and sounding as if some of the decorations were shorting out.  For a moment the distortion spread, though hard to see against the bright flashing lights.  The next instant the form of a Mobian popped into existence, then dropped to the ground into a snowdrift, causing some of the looser snow to erupt into the air as the distortion above vanished. "I've really got to spot poking those strange portals," came Skye's muffled voice from the drift.

Skye smiled, cast a spell, and a small baby dinosaur appeared next to Myra. ------------ Ziona moved her chair a little closer to Seviper.

"It's just a cuddle for now," smiled Ziona with a wink.

"Yes I can," smiled Skye.  "Summoning is a specialty of mine.  I made a pet dinosaur for Dominic." (Summoning is pretty neat magic.  And no probs)  

Agreed!  Want to set the scene?

Skye shook his head.  "Not far wrong, the two types are very close.  Evocation is creating energy from magic, so fire, lighting, that sort of thing.  Summoning is more physical matter, like when I created that sandwich for you, or if I was to create a little puppy running around.  There are points where the two types cross, like if I was to create a bolt of ice to attack with, that's both Evocation and Summoning." (I get WAY too much into this sort of stuff!  And nice profiles btw!)  

"Yes it is," smilex Ziona, slipping her tail around Seviper.

Ziona smiled, sitting down to drink her own cup.

"Yep, whereas the Fire was Evocation," said Skye.

"She asked you a question Sarah," said the Voice. ------------ "Thanks Seviper," smiled Ziona. ------------ "Evocation, Divination, Enchantments, Summoning, Illusion, Transformation, Alteration and...er... Necromancy..."  said Skye

Cool!  Looking forward to seeing the new version.  And yeah, calling her post-reboot does work!  

Zoe's face immediately went from sad back to it's grin. "What did you do that for?" asked Stacey with a slight note of anger. --------- "Because there are different types of magic, and some people have a greater affinity for some over others," said Skye. --------- "How is it?" asked Zuona.

When does Eggman NOT go over the top?

Zoe nodded, her eyes wide and lip trembling."

"I w-want ice cream," whispered Zoe to Dominic, giving a fake sob as she did so.

Unless someone is playing Sonic, shall we say he's off playing Santa somewhere, but so far away that he won't get back till the fun with the bot is over? And... well... a bot that can do ice stuff and make blizzards is pretty nasty! "Here we are," said Ziona handing a mug over.  "I think I've got it ho you like it!" ----------- "Your welcome," said Skye, setting up the balls for another try.  "Is it easier or harder than controlling the fire?" ----------- "Nothing," grinned Zoe, then she suddenly started to look upset.
