Sonic tactical tabletop game, played online. Anyone interested?

Well its been over two days and I've had no real comments about the rules or the settings, so I guess everyone is happy?

I think the next stage is to make a new topic with a proper intro post for them game, with the rules and backstory together, and possibly a few example gangs?  We can always keep this one open to talk about 'game development' and use the other for our actual champaign.

The first attempt at this kinda died as when the time to came start, everyone seemed to loose interest.

I suspect (though I'm not sure) that this was in part that the rules were pretty complex, had to be heavily modified to work online, and that it would require a lot of timing to try and get people to play together.

As such, I'm wondering about maybe giving this idea a second go, but this time, using a completely NEW ruleset.  One that's a lot simpler, and designed for forum play, so people can post their turns as, well, a post, rather than having to be online at the same time as their opponent.

Would there be any interest in a second attempt?  I'd like to know before I start any work.

If you are going to try and make it forum play then sure I'd be part of it.

I was already invested in the idea, so count me in, even if the rules are different.

Two people?  Not bad.  One more and I might just start work soon!

A small update for those who are curious.

The basic rules , while not written in a proper format, are more of less complete.  There are more advanced rules, such as Skills, Powers, and the whole leveling up deal, still to do.  But I would like to give the basic rules a test to make sure they work before jumping in with the whole thing.

So when November rolls around (cause I'm busy till then, same way I'm not doing anything in the sketchpad right now) I'll write up the basic rules for everyone to see, and create a starter gang/party/team that we can have some quick battles with to see how they work.  How does that sound?

I say alrighty then. But near the end of November I may be less active.
