To some extent it feels like although they were using the characters from Sonic SatAM, they were trying to use a more AoSTH feel to it and only later decided that it wasn't working out for them

"B-but you w-w-wanted something t-to happen, r-r-right?" Sarah said   -----------   "Oh yeah..." Dominic said heading back to Ziona's room

Sarah curled up in the cirner hiding behind her tail --------- "Aww..." Dominic said

*smells chocolate bar, dives at Sevipef*

Sarah ran in "Zoe?" Dominic called after keeping up

"Which Sarah?" Dominic asked chasing after too --------- Sarah was running to the arbotoreum

"Huh? What happened?" Dominic asked Zoe Zoe kept running

Sarah got up and ran out of the room crying

All the early comics were more jokey and without a storyline. Storylines do come later don't worry. You just need to push through or pass it (though some passed stuff does get mentioned in future issues)

"W-well... howd you think I'd take it?" Sarah asked then looked shocked at herself and dropped the sword

"Wh-what?" Sarah asked shivering

"A-and scary" Sarah said still crying

"Horrible memories..." Sarah said rocking back and forth

Sarah shook her head crying

"I... I...." Sarah began hugging her sword
