  1. First of all: Dylan beat me by an hour! Dang it! Second of all: Literally NOBODY is happy about the eye decision. The whole idea of Sonic from a design standpoint worked in the fan film with the Nostalgia Critic, AVGN and Jaleel White. The guy who voiced Sonic in the 90s cartoons. Third of all: If Sonic picks up a gun in the movie, I will walk out of the theater and yell all hail Shadow. Fourth of all: I'm going to see the movie in theaters anyway because I'm now morbidly curious.

  2. So that 3DS Luigi's Mansion remake? Yeah, I sort of got it today... and beat it in 55 minutes. With every portrait ghost... and every Boo... and my first ever gold frame on King Boo... and the best rank in the game. So that's something.

  3. So I got some news. It is official that it will be CGi/live action mix. Not necessarily a bad thing, just worrisome (The Slender movie did it and it turned out pretty good). But on top of that, people have been seen on set with cameras around. So either their doing rehearsal takes, or they have negun filming. With what Thire brought up, I'm leaning towards rehersals.

  4. I finished Sonic Mania for the last time before the release of Mania Plus in a few hours from the time as of this post. I'll be getting Plus in around 8 hours. Gonna get me that beautiful case, art book, Mighty, Ray, and reversable cover.

  5. I just went ahead and decided to beat Final Fantasy XV. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I actually really ended up liking Noctis. The overall story was pretty straightforward but rather deep. The gameplay was kind of awkward to get used to, but I got it. The soundtrack was beautiful! Seriously, can anyone direct me to that cover of Stand by Me at the beginning of the game? The ending was sooo good! I loved all 22 hours I poured into the game. Definitely a repeat playthrough in the near future.

  6. I got around to beating another game. This is a new experience for me. This time it was Doom for the PS4, or Doom 2016. It's a new experience because I have never played a Doom game before. I've seen them in  action plenty of times, just never played one of the games. I've even seen the movie with Dwayne Johnson but never played an entry in the franchinse. It was an enjoyable first playthrough. It did get me curious about the rest of the franchise, just like Symphony of the Night did for me with Castlevania. So, I most likely will go checm out the oolder games in the Doom series.

  7. After some practice runs, I beat Resident Evil 4 again. However, this was a bit different. I beat the game on Professional mode. For those who are familiar with Resident Evil, Professional mode is the highest difficulty setting in Resi 4. It was hard. But enjoyable. The boss fights were rather easy. It was the damage output was what caught me way off guard. So for the PS4 version, I have one more run of the game for bottle caps. After that I have all the trophies in the PS4 version.

  8. Another first time beat for me! Resident Evil 4. I played the PS4 remaster. Fantastic game! The story was very Resident Evil-y, if you would call it that and was full of that cheesiness I love from the series. The gameplay was tight. The over the shoulder perspective with tank controls didn't get in the way of moving and aiming with Leon at all for me. The odd time it would switch control to Ashley took me out of the immersion a bit, but not enough to detract from the game as a whole. The boss fights were rather enjoyable and intense, for example the double El Gigante battle. The music set the perfect tone the game had. Frkm the more horror aspects at the begining to the more action based scenarios at the end. It was a comfortable ride all the way through, and I will definitely be playing the game through again. I can easily recommend Resi 4 to anyone looking for an overall fantastic game that they can just sit down and play.

  9. I beat another game. I got it yesterday as of this post... I finally got around to beating the sequel 20 years in the making of Link to the Past. That is right! I finally got my hands on a copy of A Link Between Worlds! Fantastic gameplay and solid story. The remixes of LttP music were great and the dungeons were head scratching and didn't overstay their welcome (Unlike a certain Ice Palace in Link to the Past...). The gameplay was also really solid. It was also great to revisit that particular style of Zelda. I really enjoyed the topdown perspective and the rebuild of the Link to the Past Hyule map. The games Dark World; Lorule, was also really fun to travel through. Getting 100% didn't take long at all and was an enjoyable experience. Almost makes me want to play Link to the Past again actually. I may do another Link Between Worlds playthrough on Hero Mode first, though.

  10. Finished my first playthrough of Resident Evil 7. Took me 2 days to beat it. The game was pretty good honestly. I found the story pretty weak though (I don't play Resident Evil for the story). The whole FPS perspective through me off at first, but I got used to it pretty quick. I found the game captured the feeling of the original RE1 pretty nicely. I'm most likely going to revist the game to try and get more trophies because I'm that kind of person.
