They seem to serve no purpose what so ever, and yet they continue to pop up on the internet. WHERE did they come from? and WHY? (It's close enough in annoyance as is Sonic fanart considering rule 34# Which I also do not like seeing pop up on my Computer when I try to find a good model picture.

Exactly. This is all getting far too into what Sonic USED TO be. Not what he could be NOW. (Oh god please never make modern Sonic meet the Boom cast, or I will flip tables. and don't replace Knuckles with Boom one! NEVER the Boom one!) I don't know what I want from the new game but... SOMETHING. ANYTHING. New gameplay style? New characters? Interesting storyline? PLEASE. I was really into Sonic Riders, Unleashed and the other titles (Which I couldn't afford and had no console...) But that's because they always showed SOMETHING new we hadn't seen yet. Maybe new characters, new levels, new gameplay (heck even Sonic & The Black Knight at least showed us SOMETHING new. Even if it didn't make well on the market) and if it includes playing as other characters, it's immediately better. (as long as the style ain't like in... 06 *shivers* ) So please, they can take their time and make a GOOD, DECENT game, and not let fan bit** about it all the time and be FORCED to make a new Sonic title with many problems ( *cough* Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric *cough* *cough* Shattered Crystal *cough* )

Well from what I can tell from the trailer.. To me this feels like Sonic Generations copy basically. I mean sure, I have SOME hope that it'll be something actually new and fresh, but at least the trailer screams COPY. I don't know if it's just me, but taking back the Classic Sonic too.. Wonder how they'll make the story fit this time.

Oh thanks xD Well I DID drew a pic with all of them, besides since Sonic and gang are dimension travelling quite a lot it IS possible for them to meet some day... I kinda like the idea of Cola and Lone meeting up some day.. Since both have mechanical parts it would be cool..

So... um.. Sorry to ask, but you're not saying my Oc's are BAD are you..? and don't worry I don't even use all of them in the same universe. Most of my Oc's are from different anime, but since I can not draw humans, I rather make them Mobians since they are the only thing I CAN draw. As for Sonic Oc's I have 9 or so. All of them have different realities though. Most of them have no Canonical connections to the main Mobius except for Vivian, Cola, Shinomi and Lone.

Pretty much they take character, change it a little while still keeping the same name, background story etc. and call it their own. That's what I hate.

While I do agree with you Blue... I do think making bad fan characters is important, so that one can improve their imagination and future characters. heck, I've made TONS of bad OC's in the past, whether or not one puts them on DeviantArt however is a whole different thing, They might at the time think it is a good idea, and regret later, but it's good to have a solid ground when starting to create new characters, with better stories and better looks. I've seen tons of bad Oc's in my time, some okay ones and a few with even original back story, and I can assure you that none of the okay ones or the original ones were created instantly without having a few problems. As for Mary Sues.. Probably made By younger audience as you said, true they're mostly horrible or so bad they're amazing, but it gives some direction to the makers, about HOW to improve their characters.. Unless they're headstrong and start yelling and defending their "original" character.. Some might also be made By internet trolls. (at least I do hope so). But I think it's a GOOD thing they do exist on the internet. They're a good warning example of what NOT to do, help you improve your skills as an artists, and may give you some good ideas even. (Other than that I still do hate them too.) I hate those kind of fans who say they're your friend and then technically steal your style little By little. They're worse than usual art stealers since it hurts more on the emotional side when your supposed friend is the one betraying you.. I Also do not really like the character sprite comics... I don't know why but something about the style keeps nagging me. I'm okay with internet comics however, just not... With the said Mary Sues.
