Yes and No. You see Mega Man Maverick Hunter X was meant to be reboot for the series, but it wasn't popular enough to get sequels. One good proof is that it seems that Cain dies at the end of that movie, even though he appears in future games. In that version Cain also seems to be forced to be connected with some kind of robotic chair to survive. You may remember that Zero damaged Sigma's face during his their battle shown in MMX4. Before MMMHX it was implied that Zero was the one that gave him scars. Ian Flynn admitted that MMX universe is complicated and confusing, so while he will stick to original as close as possible, there will be changes.

Main bosses in Mega Man X look like animals, over time Air Man type Robot Masters became more popular that standard looking ones like Quick Man, but you never see females like them. This is especially obvious with Plum who could be easily mistaken for human while both Chest and Ribot have met like faces.

Terrible past aside most of things you mention are more connected to Light, Roll and Mega Man.She doesn't really know much unless its related to drilling (Roll and Mega Man usually make decisions and Ice man and Pharaoh Man are just as science stuff), Rock'n Roll are much nicer... My only concern about Tempo is that she gets a little too much time. Its would be annoying if all game Robot Masters stayed as their basic selves when she gets all character development. Also she kinda gets all attention as Token female - Robot Master- original character, in similar way Splash Woman gets all attention. Can't LaLinde make few more female robots already?

While I highly enjoyed this issue thanks to bonding moment and pretty much anything Omega said, I cant help but think that almost nothing happens in this issues. Part 1: Team Dark walks in. Part 2: Shadow turn evil. Part 3: Shadow is no longer evil. Part 4: Killing aliens I assume. Defeatng Shadow only takes like half of issue.The other part is completly consumed by moving characters into their places for final issue. Off-panel oddly makes sense. Eclipse really doesnt sound like an alien.

Ok,now something different: idea for Mega Man game. -You dont have Mega Buster -You have every other weapon from every other game ever. -There is no weapon energy in stages. -Weapon energy is not restored between stages, Once you use up your weapon you have to go through whole game without it.

Here's my strategy: I'm assumign all comic book characters are gone with few exceptions (Hood, Bow). If I'm right at least I wont spend next months worrying and guessing. If I'm wrong I'll be pleasently suprized.

Also: Why are all Sonic fans that ridiculously cynical? Sally wasnt gonna stay robot forever. Antoine wasnt going to die. Saffron or Julie-Su werent going to be killed off in oder to make comics closer to games. Sally wasnt lobotized or cut to pieces just cause Eggman upgraded her. And now: Mobius/Earth/Sonic's World/whatever not gonna die and more importantly Muttski not gonna die. Does Flynn really strikes you as hack writer that kiles children for drama? Really?
