Chromatic Terras

(ooc: but Trigun has no idea who he is, so he has to be cocky :( ) Trigun looks up to Spectre as Chaos charges him below. Trigun quickly reals in his scythe to hit Chaos from behind as it then changes into a sword. "It looks like you're on a whole different level from the rest. Let's have at it then." he says as he rushes towards Spectre.

Trigun looks to Spectre and smirks. "If you knew the situation of our world, you wouldn't trust any of us. Allow me to teach you that." Suddenly Spectres arm begins to freeze over from long contact with the scythe. Trigun also begins to form a chain in his left hand and lassos it towards Spectre. Before it hits however, Astraea jumps in the way to sacrifice herself. "Don't let his weapons touch you for too long!" she says, trying to burn the chains to keep from freezing. Knuckles continues to reattach Kali's body as he begins to regain consciousness. Chaos runs up to Spectre and knocks the scythe up so it flies overhead. Trigun quickly regains control of it as he locks the chain down to hold Astraea. He then prepares to face Spectre and Chaos.

Kali's top half falls to the ground as the book falls down next to him. Knuckles quickly runs out to him and begins using his chaos energy. He attempts to connect Kali's body back together. "I see." Trigun says as he walks towards them. "The energy you creatures use resembles the element of nature. In that case, destroying you will ensure his demise as well." He winds up his scythe once more and swings at Knuckles, who is defenseless against the attack.

As Knuckles walks out the library thinking of his grandfathers words, he sees Astraea and Chaos rushing towards him. "Why is Chaos here? What happened?" he calls out to Astraea. "Triguns back and he's right on us!" she yells as the building behind her get cut and begin to crumble. The falling ruble causes dust to pick up and blow everywhere. As Knuckles and Kali try to swipe it away from their vison, the look out to see Trigun walking towards them, carrying a large frozen scythe. Kali quickly rushes out to Astraea and Chaos, as the fell over from the building collapse. Astraea looks to him and tries to yell for him to take cover, however it's too late as Trigun swings his scythe around and cuts him in half.

Kali nods as him and Knuckles head for the exit of the old tomb. "so once we grab Astraea, whats our next move grandfather?" Knuckles asks Locke ------------------------------------- Astraea and Chaos make a mad dash for the ruins as they were exposed in the open area. Trigun follows behind them laughing diabolically as he continues to attack them, making them dodge for dear life.

Kali looks into the book as he read through the first few entry's. He then stumbled upon a section that was copied into a different language. He puts his hand over it, trying to jog his memory. "This appears to be some sort of art made by my world. I've forgotten how to read it, but maybe Astraea can. We should head back to get her." ---------------------------------------------------- Astraea and Chaos are now on the run as Trigun chases after them. As the two hide behind a tree, Astraea then looks to Chaos. "I wasn't expecting this of all things to be his secret weapon. What do you think we should do?" she asks to Chaos, who only gives her a blank stare in return. "....i gues I shouldn't be surprised you can't talk without a mouth." Suddenly she feels Trigun closing in and yells. "Get down!" As the two dive for cover, the trees around them get sliced in half horizontally as Trigun is seen walking through them falling. The two then get back up and continue running to get to the Eastern ruins again.

"Remarkable." Kali says as he suddenly stumbles upon something that caught his attention. There was a book under some strange language, however he felt as though it resonated with him. He picked it up and walked over to Spectre. "Is this the book we're looking for?" (ooc: idk if you wanted to make the name and/or information that was found in the book. If you want, I can make up some stuff. Just give me a character to have as the author.) -------------------------------------- Astraea and Chaos look to Trigun as he walks toward them with his new weapon. They begin to feel unease at its blood-lust and start to back away a bit.

Knuckles and Kali look around as there are a couple of old bookshelves, filled with books. They each walk down a section, looking at all the different categories they were filed in. "This is remarkable," Kali says as he looks through the books. "all of these titles and entries seem like fairy tales, however they are taken as real." --------------------------------- Trigun walks toward the two slowly. "You people just love to underestimate my power." he says, once again creating a weapon out of both his hands. "I will now show you true fear."

Knuckles animates his arm with chaos energy as the path begins to get darker. -------------------------- Trigun grabs Astraeas arms and pulls her out of his chest. He then powers over her and looks her in the eyes. "I was merciful on you before. Now I regret the decision." As he pulls his hand up and forms a dagger, Chaos charges down and knocks him off Astraea. He then looks to her as she stands up. "I don't know what you are, but be careful with him." she says as the two now turn to face Trigun.

"Convenient." Kali says as he walks through behind Spectre. Knuckles quietly follows along. ---------------- Trigun slowly begins moving torwards Chaos. "Tell me, should we continue this pointless battle, or should I just end you now?" As Chaos looks upon Trigun he notices something from behind coming in with great speed. He dives out the way as a massive fireball slams onto Trigun. After the smoke clears, Chaos looks over to see Astraea with her fist dug into Triguns chest, and steam spewing out from the mix of fire and water. "You really don't know when to give up, do you?" she says as she begins punching him rapidly in the face.

Knuckles nods and reaches the library. He walks into the ruins of the old building and looks around a bit. "Which category would this book be in?" Kali asks, joining him inside. "That depends on if people believes its words." Knuckles replies and begins to walk down the aisles. ------------------------------------ Chaos begins to attack Trigun again, however now his attacks were constantly being absorbed as Trigun laughs at him. "What's wrong creature!? You seem desperate now!" he taunts as he grabs hold of Chaos and punches him in the face. He then pulls his arm off and kicks him away. "I honestly can't tell if you're releasing you body parts, or you're just this weak." he comments as Chaos's arm fails apart in his hand. Chaos simply stares at him without a word.

"Indeed I did." Knuckles replies, looking back to the Master Emeralds direction once more. "I feel as though something is amiss." Astraea then rockets up in the air with fire. "If both of you sense danger, then I'll go check it out. It'd be much faster for me to travel." "Astraea wait!" Kali says but she a;ready turns and flies back. Kali then looks to Knuckles and Spectre. "I'd say we should go after her, but at this rate it wouldn't make a difference by the time we get back." Knuckles nods in agreement. "She should be able to take care of herself with whoever is over there. I doubt it's Trigun again if chaos energy is being used. ------------------------------------------ Trigun transforms into water and slides away to avoid being dug any deeper. He reforms himself and turns to see Chaos in his face again and gets sucker punched away from the Master Emerald. As he tries to get up a third time, Chaos extends his arm in attempt to grab him. However this time is different. As he connects with Trigun, his arm gets stuck onto him as he stands up. "I must say it took a while, but I finally got down your composition." Trigun says as he begins absorbing chaos's arm and drags him in. He then punches him square in the head, letting go of his remaining arm and causing him to clothesline into a flip on the ground. He then kicks Chaos in the chest as he tries to get back up, nearly cutting him in half with the blow. Chaos tumbles over and looks up into the sky, trying to regain his control of his water.

Knuckles look out to the ruins to see what Spectre was speaking of. As he makes his way over, he feels a weird sensation coming from the direction of the Master Emerald. However, he assumes it to only be false vibe and continues onward. ----------------------------------- Chaos charges Trigun, going for double punch, however it has no effect as Trigun cuts off his arms. They fall to the ground as Chaos quickly reforms them and lunges again while Trigun was still in his swinging motion. He connects, slamming him off the side of the shrine and down the stairs. As Trigun attempts to stand up, Chaos leaps down and slams his fists into Triguns head, increases his water mass in his arms. He cracks the ground as he pushes deep into the dirt.

As Knuckles group reach the ruins. They look out to the vast abandoned wasteland. "This place looks deprived of all life." Kali says sadly. Astraea laughs a bit. "I think I like it quite well. It's hot and the animals here that adapted to it are clearly the fittest." she says watching a snake and lizard pass by searching for food. Knuckles looks to Spectre "In any case, which direction would the library be in? If we can find the remains of that, chances are the book may still be there as well, if at all." ------------------------------------------------- Trigun feels more closely on the Emerald as he realizes it begins to vibrate. He follows the tone of it and makes out the message. "I see, so you're the being within this stone that I could sense. The wavelentghs of your vibrations tell me you're made from a source of water such as myself. It seems as though we may have something in common." *The Master Emerald vibrates again* "Villainous intent? I assure you what I do is for the greater good. I'm sure a water being such as yourself wishes this world had more oceans to it. *The Master Emerald vibrates for a long time.* "Have you now? That's quite impressive. However, I do not believe in someone not being in the right state of mind. Surely what the Echidnas and humans did which caused your rampage means something more vital. A sign that maybe it's time for you to change your view of the world." *The Master emerald vibrates furiously* "Oh don't be that way. I can help you. I too am a being of water and together, we could take over this land. Be known as rulers of the world. Nothing would be able to stop us. Come on, just show me the power you say you hold and together we can accomplish anything." The Master Emerald vibrates furiously again as a bright light shines from atop of it. As Trigun looks up, Chaos begins to emerge from the emerald and looks down upon him. He then extends his arm out, attempting to pierce Trigun, but he jumps back. "I see you've made a resolve then." Trigun says as he forms two swords in his hands. "Let me show you what it feels like to have that broken." (ooc:quick question. are at least 2 of the chaos emeralds out somewhere that I could scavenge?)

As Trigun reaches the Master Emerald, he walks up to it and stares into the gems unscratched body. He puts his hand on it as he suddenly feels an immense power coming from inside. "This feeling seems to have the same elemental components as me." he says to himself, trying to identify the source.

(ooc: you can leave him be. He's only gonna inspect it for a bit before he makes a move. But just to be sure, Angel Island would fall if the Master Emerald was....let's say "shattered" yes?)

Knuckles and the group nod as the follow Spectre to the ruins ---------------------------------- Trigun makes his way to high ground as he surveys the island. as he looks on, he sees the group heading east. Trailing back to where they came, he looks over to the Master Emerald. "That jewels seems to hold an immense amount of power." he says as he jumps down and makes his way to the shrine.

"I see. Then where are we heading first?" Knuckles asks. -------------------------------------- Trigun watches Angel Island as it hovers over him. He creates a a bow and arrow and fires it up at the island. As it connects to the edge, he uses a water line to transfer himself up to the arrow and reform on the edge of the island. He then climbs up and looks around. "Time for the hunt to begin again." he says as he starts to walk inland.

"What is this downunda?" Kali asks as him and Astraea catch up. "It's the area in which this island rose up front." Knuckles explains. A massive crater in the middle of the desert." "Sounds like it's just loads of fun." Astraea says looking around the island. "Where are the two books here grandfather? We could split up to get them." Knuckles suggests.

Knuckles follows his grandfather as Kali walks up to Astraea. "You seem to be pretty obsessed with power." he says to her as she continues to poke her lip out. "Please, the only reason you could take him was because you had an advantage, in a real fight that man would kill you." she replies back. "That's why I would like to fight with my new found companions, as well as you." Kali grabs her hand and lifts her off the steps by surprise. "Let's hurry and catch up to them." he says, turning over to Knuckles and Spectre. Astraea is left dumbstruck as Kali pulls her along. She finally gets her thoughts back as she pulls her hand from Kali. "D-don't hold me like that!" she says blushing again. "You have to hurry and follow them then." Kali says obliviously. ------------------------------------------------ "So grandfather, are these books possibly on Angel Island, or will we have to go onto the mainland?" Knuckles says out of curiosity.

Knuckles looks to Kali who gives him a nod. "It sounds like we have an adventure on our hands then." Knuckles says, cracking his fists. -------------------------------- Trigun lands in the ocean, but takes no damage as he becomes one with the water. He travels with the current to a nearby island and walks upon the beach. he looks back to the floating Angel Island, and then dissapears into the forest.

"Storybooks? You mean to tell me this world has information on our people?" Kali says with a surprised look. Astraea then looks up from sitting on the staircase in curiosity. "As odd as it may seem," Knuckles begins. "We have some technology and power that allows us to travel to different worlds and zones in the universe. That power is very unstable however, and it is very hard to obtain. Grandfather, do you have any knowledge of where these books about elemental beings may be?"

Trigun leans over the edge, with a dagger in the side of the earth. as he looks up, he sees Spectre looking down to him. "This isn't over." he says as he dissolves the dagger and falls back into the ocean bellow. Knuckles runs up to his Grandfather. "He is a very dangerous man indeed. Trust or not, his tricks know no bounds." he then looks down as the two watch Trigun fall. "It seems we now have a new enemy on our hands as well. Kali walks up to the cybernetic Guardian. "Thank you for your aid. my name is Kali, an earth elemental being. Over there is Astraea of fire." Astraea makes a deep hmph sound and walks over to the shrine stairs.

Trigun takes the hit and falls off the side of the island. Kali and Astraea look to Spectre and Knuckles runs over. "Grandfather?! I thought you were lost in the twilight zone!" he says with a stunned expression.
