"How careless of you." Trigun says to Spectre. "Being the strongest in the group, yet having no intention to engage in combat while they fight for their lives. Is this the way you taught the successors of your clan?" ---------------------- Chaos rushes out to Trigun, feinting a kick as he goes under and starts to climb the wall. Trigun slams his fist into it and a larger punch comes out in front of Chaos, knocking him off. "You seem to forget my manipulative abilities are far more superior than yours." he says as Chaos gets up off the ground.

Astraea swings at Trigun, her fist exploding on impact, causing tremendous amount of steam. As it cleared, Astraea hovered over the area looking around for him. "A wonderful ability it is to control water, don't you think?" Trigun says standing next to Kali. "With this much around me, my power is nearly infinite." says another one appearing in front of Knuckles. "I can make as many of myself as I want, and form almost anywhere." says another. "And that even means next to you." Says a forth from behind Spectre. The trio quickly put their backs together as the three Triguns begin to corner them. "What's the plan?" Kali asks. "It looks like he wants to keep this one on one, so let's give him a show." Knuckles replies, emitting chaos energy. ------------------------------------- As Chaos continues his walk throughout the cave, he approaches a large opening. He looks up to see the top of the ravine once more, and the chaos emerald. "Is that the source of your increasing power?" Trigun asks as Chaos looks down to see him standing across from him. Chaos simply stares at him. "I know of your past, why do you not do it again?" Trigun begins. "In this tundra, you would have unlimited amounts of water at your side, and no one would be able to oppose you until it was already too late." Chaos continues to stare at him, and then back to the emerald. Trigun looks at it as well and then back to Chaos. "If you do not wish to listen to me, then I will not let you have that."

"My name is Rancor. It is a pleasure to meet you Berry." ---------------------- Chaos continues his journey into the cave as the light and temperature begin to drop even more. He flexes his left arm to activate the emerald inside him as a light source and presses onward. ------------------------ As the group pressed on, they noticed a dark figure up ahead. Moving in closer, they realize who it is. "Well, it sure took you a while." Kali says. "How was the trip up north." "Very infuriating I must say." Trigun responds, walking over the near frozen water. "Though I must say, this land and weather is absolutely perfect. It calmed me down quite a bit knowing how easy it will be to take you out." The blizzard dies down a bit as he gets a good look on Kali and Astraea. "I see you two have bee getting close lately." "You wish." Astraea responds as she jumps off Kali and bursts into flames, charging at Trigun.

Chaos looks to Spectre before he turns and jumps down into the ravine, landing hard on the ice floor. He quickly reforms himself and starts his journey into an icy cave. --------------------------------------------- The group continues across the frozen lake as Kali now carried Astraea on his back. "This is the most humiliating thing you've ever done to me." she says embarrassed. "Would you rather me carry you in my hands?" he asks. "That's even worse you idiot! Ugh, Knuckles how long until we get there!?" Knuckles looks out into the horizon as a blizzard had picked up over the lake. "From what I can see, I think we're about halfway." "Wonderful." Astraea moans.

Chaos sits with Spectre as he suddenly feels a power source. He looks around to locate it as he soon finds a nearby ravine. Looking down into it, he sees the glow of a chaos emerald.

The group moves on carefully, jumping glacier to glacier. "This reminds me of the time Sonic was telling me of Hol0ska." Knuckles says, trying to keep his balance. "What is Hol0ska?" Kali asks, following him through the ice. "It a small settlement in the northern part of the world. Much like here, but probably less weather danger. How you doing back there Astraea?" The two look back to see her standing still on one of the glacier pieces. Kali jumps back over to help her. "Why aren't you moving?" "I am." she assures him. "I'm just...looking for a good opportunity to make the jump." Kali looks around and then back to her. "t's not going to get any closer than this. it may be windy, but the water and glaciers are still as rocks." Astraea looks at him again and frowns. "Perhaps you're not good at keeping your balance?" Kali guesses.

Rancor walks over with his cups of tea. "I'm sure we'll find him soon. In the meantime, would anyone care for a drink?" ---------------------------- Chaos walks over to Spectre as the two teleport away. Knuckles turns back to Kali and Astraea. "Where did those two go?" she asks. "To the temple." he responds. "Without us?" "Yep." The group then turns back to the lake and begin making their way down the hill to cross it.

Knuckles stares at Spectre and Chaos walks over to Spectre and looks at him with his usual blank look. "I know you'd be laughing right now if you had facial expressions." Knuckles said to Chaos, who simply continued to look at him. Kali let go of Astraea after transferring some of his energy. "Do you feel better now?" he asks Astraea. "Yea...yea I'm fine." she replies. He looks over to her and puts his head closer to hers. "Are you sure? Your face is all red still from the cold." Realizing what he was talking about, Astraea quickly set herself on fire and backed away a bit. "No no, I'm fine. See I can keep myself like this to warm up." Kali backs up to avoid being set on fire and simply shrugs.

Umm....what?

Rancor quickly moved around the room and started to make some cups of tea for everyone. ---------------------- "It looks like we can go from glacier to glacier down there." Knuckles points out over the lake, he then turns back to Spectre. "Unless you're feeling less adventurous and want to teleport us again."

"These zone portals..." Rancor wonders. "Can they travel to actual different zones as well?" ------------------------------------- The group approaches a large frozen over temple as the look across half glacier-ed tundra. "It looks like we'll have to cross this lake if we wish to get over there." Knuckles says as the wind picks up, tossing snow and ice all over. Kali looks over to Astraea, who was shivering constantly. "Are you doing alright." he asks her as she turns to him. "J-j-just f-f-f-f-f-f-f-fine thank you." she says looking away again. Kali then hugs her from behind, making her jump. "W-w-w-what are you doing!?" she yells at him. "My side effect power is that of healing. Hopefully I can warm you up with it." he replies as his vinyls begin to glow as he releases energy. "You have no idea how awkward this is do you?" Astraea asks. "He's just using his powers to help you. What's awkward about that?" Knuckles says. Chaos looks over to Spectre and face-palms at the twos obliviousness.

Rancor stared at the portal for a moment. "So this is how you guys have been getting around so fast." he says as he gets read to jump in.

Following behind Glen and Kayl, Rancor simply shakes his head. "This is getting more and more hectic by the minute." --------------------------------- As the area around them begins to freeze up, the group starts to put on some coats as well. "Hey Chaos, how are you doing?" Knuckels asks, turning around to see the mutant chao standing still with his legs frozen to the ground. Knuckles quickly breaks them lose and the two catch up with everyone. "This is definitely going to be the worst of all the journals." Kali says shivering.

Rancor dives out the way as Glen throws the grenade. -------------------------------- Astraea pouts as the group moves on into the tundra. ---------------------------- Trigun makes it up North as he looks around at his environment. "This doesn't look like it holds anything at all." he says as he slowly begins to realize his foolishness. He bellows loudly, cracking the ground underneath him as he liquefies once more and changes course.

"Soooo....we're using that?" asked Rancor ------------------------ Astraea pauses as the group nod and follow on. "Umm....exactly how cold are we talking?" "What are you warm blooded?" Kali laughes as he then sees Astraea put her head down. "Oh right. That would actually make sense." he thinks for a moment as to how he can help her.

"Hmm, clever of you." Astraea says with a smirk. "So where are we actually going?"

Excellent. It sounds like things are all under control then." Rancor replies. ------------------------------------- Everyone grabs hold to Spectre as they prepare to head out once more. -------------------------- Trigun watches as the group dissapears and thinks for a moment. "A water temple huh? Well If it's from my element, then I should be able to find it best." Trigun then sinks into the ground and begins his travel to the north.

"If there's a fight to be had, then I could combat them." Rancor says. "I have just as much strength as Knuckles." -------------------------------------- "The north huh..." Knuckles says thinking. He then looks to Chaos. "Assuming this next temple will have lots of water, we'll need Chaos to get his second emerald on our way up. It could aid us in any troubles that we may face." "What makes you think it will be trapped to such an amount? " Kali asked. "Think about it. The earth temple was in near ruins, the fire temple was old but still functioned to a degree. The time difference in which these were made are so far apart, the water temple must be in near prime condition. If we confront Trigun again, he may have the upper hand this time."

(ooc: Skye I have to applaud you for not going crazy from the glitched in changing font/color and what not for all your characters.) "Ah, good good. So what's our next step?" Rancor asks. ----------------------------------------------- "ANYWAY!" Astraea says after a long bickering with Kali. "Let me finish." Novanus Log 3 The Echidna has followed up his agreement to join me in traveling to the society of fire. He showed quick integration with our people. Of course we kept secret of his travels in the earth society. H seemed to have a peaceful effect on the people, as battles with the other nations became less costly. Many soldiers were not lost to be reborn again and sometimes there was even conversation between generals while fighting. The only exception to this was the water society however. Although they would converse, their actions would not change, in comparison to the earth and wind societies. It is to this reason that Perseus and and I have agreed to have the Echidna travel to the water society, in hopes that he will have the same effect on them. Astraea closes the book as she reaches the end. "So it seems all the answers lie in the journal of Perseus." Kali says thinking. "It would appear so. The fact that there is no journal on the wind society would mean that Perseus hopefully has the answers." Astraea responds as she moves up to Spectre. "Where must we travel next for the jounral, if you don't mind me asking?"

(I couldn't get on the site yeserday for some reason X_x) Rancor finds Glen and Kayl. "Sorry friends, I seem to have lost my train of thought and missed your departure. What have you discovered so far? --------------------------------------- As the group head out once more. Astraea pulled out the book again. Novanus Log 2 During the second meeting, I was able to confront the creature while the earth and water element were conversing. I do not recall his name, however he had said he was a race of echidna and was here on a journey. When asking him of what this journey entailed, he simple replied "everything". His words lead me to grow more fond of him, and so I asked for him to join me once he had finished his business with the earth element. He agreed to the terms, so I will look forward to seeing him soon. "You ancestors make it sound bad for him to make that choice." Kali says, making Astraea look up from the journal. "She clearly has more information than yours had. Besides, it wasn't exactly safe with him running around with your ancestors either!" As the two bicker on, Knuckles and chaos just look at each other and shrug, continuing to follow Spectre.

Cuteness may be my weakness, however I will prevail in this battle.

"I understand." Rancor says pleased. "Now then, shall we move onward?" --------------------------------- Kali looks to Astraea and then to Spectre. "Should we continue the journal on the road? He may have dissapeared from sight, but can still be in the area."

"I see." Rancor responds. "If you know of how to find Knuckles, then I shall aid you in your travels as fair trade. My needs are not so urgent." --------------------------- Trigun looks to Spectre. "Mark my words you demon, I will overcome your power someday." He then dissolves into the ground and dissapears once more.

"ah, I apologize with my vague explanation." The echidna says waving his arms. 'He is of a much lighter tone than me, and is very well known. In any case, my name is Rancor. It's a pleasure to meet you." he says, giving a bow.

*trying to resist the cuteness* o-of course it won't. I will match Survivors skills and battle to the fullest for the win!
