"Don't worry!" Knuckles yells out. "We have the book safe here!" As he holds it up, Chaos looks back and quickly pushes him to the ground. The serpent chasing them comes busting out the hallway and into the main room. It fully extends out to the height of the ceiling and looks down on everything. "By the ancestors...so this is where they placed it." Trigun says looking wide eyed. Kali notices the serpent enter the room and begins bashing against the other side of the force-field to get to it. "If I were you, I'd let him go now while he's still focused on it." Trigun says looking to Spectre.

(that works then. I was about to have them return anyhow. I'll post what I planned from your last before the page got wiped, cause I did read it yesterday, just didn't have time to respond.) "Don't melt the ice you fool!" Trigun yells. "That will only speed up his transformation!" However, by the time he finished his sentence, it was already too late. Kali had fully broken free and finished releasing his energy. He lets out an ear piercing deep roar as he looks down to see Sepctre and Trigun. As he tries to approach them, he bumps into Spectres force-field, causing him to be angered even more as he began punching it furiously with all his strength. Knuckles and Chaos begin to reach the end of the hallway as they see the light shining from Spectres power. As they exit into the hall ,they see Kali going rampant. "What in gods name happened here?" Knuckles says, causing Chaos to turn and look at him and shrugs. "No not you." Knuckles then replies.

(you wanted to try and seal Kali off and destroy the ice on him, which would have been bad cause then he would no longer be slowed down from the ice freezing.)

"Hmm, I see." Rancor says, pondering the possibilities of the device. "I can definitely use this once I return back to zone. May I ask where you are from exactly?"

(ooc: Agreed.) Rancor looks over to her as she hands him the device. "Thank you Kayl-ne. What is it?" he asks, flipping it around to inspect.

"Don't melt away the ice you fool! That will only speed up his transformation!" Trigun yells, but it was already too late. the ice that continued to grow over Kali was fully destroyed, allowing him to move around freely. He rampantly bashed against Spectres energy bubble, destroying it's integrity with every punch. "We may not have a grasp on the power of you energy, but that doesn't mean you can assume it will combat anything!" Trigun continues. "Once an earth element reaches their full body, their body is covered with the strongest material unknown to even our world. If you try to fight him alone, you'll doom all of us without a doubt!" ------------------------- Knuckles and Chaos continue sprinting as the look back to see the serpent. "How in the world?" Knuckles says as he looks under its body to see small legs and feet spread out in full stride. He tries to block the image from his mind and picks up the pace as the start to reach the entrance to the temple again.

Rancor lays in the bed, staring out the window and into the night sky. "Shame I cannot sleep." he says, talking to himself. "However I'm sure they'll want to rest soon and having me up last could raise suspicion." Suddenly he hears yelling and commotion from the other room. "Well, hopefully they want to rest." ---------------------------------- Trigun laughs as Spectre grabs him. "I've finally touched a nerve have I?" he mutters while being gripped by Spectres power. "I must say, you truly are more powerful than I expected. However, you may wish to release me soon." As he turns his head to point at Kali, the ice body in which he was sealed in now glows from the head. Both his eyes and gem could be seen as straight green lights as they burned through the ice. "I'm not sure how we arrived in your world, but you never learned how the three of us were killed in the first place." Trigun says as Kalis body begins shattering the ice and growing tenfold in size. "This very being had gone on his rampage. His....forbidden power, if you wish to see it as that. The true potential of the earth element." --------------------- Knuckles splashes out the water and onto dry ground. As he coughs out some water, he looks to see Chaos again, still holding the book. "You sure know how to cut it close." Knuckles says smirking. Suddenly the ground rumbles again as the two realize the serpent was coming up once more. "Let's hurry back to the group!" Knuckles says. Chaos nods and the two run out the room as the serpent breaks out the water and crashes into the doorway, continue pursuit of them.

Rancor takes his leave. He goes in the room and rests until someone wakes him again, or morning arises. ---------------------------------- "There is no avoidance." Trigun says, continuing to pursue Spectre. "Killing them now will be less work to do once I return back to my own world with the information from those journals. If their gems are placed in eternal slumber once more, then there will be nothing left run our world to ruins." Kali attempts a second attack from behind, however this time Trigun transforms his hammer into a dagger, and pierces through Kalis rock hard skin with ice. "I've already defeated the girl, and I will defeat you too." he says in Kalis face as he then kicks him away. While Spectre and Trigun continue to fight, Kali tries to get up, however the daggers freezing effect had already moved too far into his body. He bashes the dagger to pieces, however its effects still continued. Struggling to stay in the fight, he lets out a war cry and the ice completely covers him. ------------------------------------------- Knuckles goes underwater to see the full length of the serpent. The pool of water seemed endless as it slowly turned around to go back into the abyss. Knuckles quickly swam to it and began punching its side frantically. As he did, he started to feel a repulse from the other side and assumed it was Chaos. He started to hit harder and harder until it finally ripped, causing the serpent to begin writhing in pain. Knuckles then saw the journal come out of the serpents side, along with chaos's brain. He was then pulled by a force back up to the top of the water.

Trigun expands the size of his shield to volly the oncoming spears. He then see's Kali coming up behind him and swings at his rip cage. Kali hardens his side, however still gets forced away powerfully into the ground. One of Spectres spears break through his shield however and hits Trigun in the arm, causing him to grunt in pain. "I see your energy has more heat to it than I thought." Trigun says as he transforms his hammer into a crossbow and starts shooting ice bolts through the hole in his shield at Spectre. ------------------------------ "Thank you for understanding, I will take my leave for the night now." Rancor says as he turns and walks back to Kayl's room.

"I must explain this to you some other time." Rancor says, letting go of Locke. "For now, let us rest. We must begin our search for Knuckles tomorrow." ------------------------------- Tired of talk, Spectre charges at Spectre again, using his tower shield as coverage to get close and swing his hammer. Kali runs after him to make an attack once Spectre took his shot. ------------------------------- Chaos gets back down to the water and jumps in. Knuckles watches from afar as it seems to take longer for Chaos to return this time. He crosses his arm in anticipation, however the chao still has yet to surface. "Chaos are you still here?" Knuckles calls out. There's a silence before he notices a break in the water towards the middle of the room. The ground begins to rumble as the water goes splashing up, revealing Chaos at the top elevated in the air. Secondss later, the water breaks again as a massive serpent comes head first out the water and slams its mouth closed on Chaos. Knuckles looks in shock as he quickly reads the situation. "Hold on! I'm on my way!" he yells as he leaps into the water and swims over to the serpent as it slowly descends back into the water.

"This is amazing." Rancor says hugging Locke. "I never thought I'd get the chance to meet you in person."

"What in the world do you mean?" Kali asked, now curious. "Golems." Trigun replied. "Unlike my transformation, which can still use my fundamental ability, you monsters continued to enhance your own bodies abilities far beyond what they should be capable of. I do admit, it is quite the dangerous technique, however it's double-edged sword is one that's costly. Anything in your way is destroyed until 1 of 3 things happen." he explains, holding his fingers up. "Either you find a way to regain control and power down, your opponents kill you, or there is nothing left for you to destroy. Many of our wars have gone in stalemate due to you all losing control." he then turns back to Spectre and he starts to transform into ice once again. "That is why they do not deserve to go on. That is why my people must be the ones victorious in this." he then crafts a large tower shield and warhammer. "That is why you two will die by my hands, at any cost." -------------------------------------------------------------- Chaos and Knuckles continue to run through the hallway, taking out any traps that activate on their journey. They soon arrive to a large room filled with water, and a large shrine could be seen on the other end of it. The two look to each other and Chaos jumps in the water, quickly traveling to the other end. He walks up the shrine and finds the book encased in a globe of water. He pulls it out and starts to make his way back down the stairs.

"You think a cyborg and a law abiding element is enough to stop me at my utmost power!?" Trigun screams, freezing over his body into impenetrable ice. Kali looks to Spectre and then back to Trigun. "What do you mean law abiding?" he asks. "You do not find it strange to see me alter my abilities like this, and yet you yourself have not tried once?" Trigun questions him. "What are you talking about?" Trigun pauses for a moment, reverting back to his original self and begins to laugh. "You truly lost your memory, haven't you?" he says. Kali simply looks at him, refusing to answer. "Your people are nothing but failures." Trigun goes on. "Unable to control their true potential, they nearly destroyed themselves many years ago. Now you're forced to fight without unleashing your full ability. I'm amazed the land of nature still exists now."

"I see, thank you." Rancor says. As he heads off however, he overhears Locke and Kayl talking about Knuckles and rushes back. "You're Knuckles father?" he asks in a surprised manner. -------------------- Kali emerges from the side of the wall as it crumbles. He looks down to see Trigun still under him, buried deep into the side of the wall. "I'll admit that hurt quite a lot." Trigun says as he slowly tries to pull himself out. Kali slams his fist into the side of his head, however Trigun simply transform that part into water. "But you wont blindside me again." he replies as he then grabs Kali and pushes him into the ground. Kali quickly hardens his back, causing the floor under him to break. He then grabs hold of Triguns arm and supllexes him over onto the ground next to him. "You guys go on and grab the book. I'll take care of him!" Kali yells out. Knuckles gives a nod and looks to Chaos who then rushes over to the main hallway of the temple. "You coming with us, or you gonna make sure Kali doesn't kill himself over revenge." Knuckles asks Spectre.

(ooc: Locke, you're disregarding the fact that Kali attempted to tackle Trigun and then tackled you as well because you did nothing about it.......) "Well if things are done here. I'm going to retire for the night. I will begin my journey to find Knuckles in the morning." Rancor says. he goes to find a spot to rest. "I'll make tea for you in the morning Kayl-ne."

Rancor smiles to the comment. "Don't worry Kayl, I can make some more later." as he then watched Max introduce himself and Kayl push him, he staggered back a bit. "I assume he isn't a friend of yours?" ------------------------------ "Flesh or not, you won't use it." Trigun says as his dagger starts to freeze over Spectres arm. He then looks to his side just before Kali collides into them both, slamming them into the wall.

"And my world isn't yours to decide its fate." Trigun says as Spectre pulled him im. He shapeshifts one of his katanas into a dagger and thrusts it into Spectres arm, allowing it to begin freezing over giving Spectre the option to either pull it out and break it, or lose his arm trying to hold Trigun. Chaos then jumps for Triguns other arm as he transforms his second katana into a mace and swings it, hitting Chaos with a flash freeze, again shattering his body, rather than allowing him to absorb the water. Chaos falls to the ground as he attempts to regenerate himself. Knuckles and Kali finally arrive to see Trigun and Spectre locked onto each other. "Grab those two and get the book from deep inside the temple." Kali says to Knuckles. Without hesitation, he sprints straight at the two, aiming to run down Trigun if Spectre saw him coming in time to let go. Otherwise all three would slam into a wall. -------------------- "My my, things are getting quite initmate." Rancor says as he then turns back to Kayl. "I assume this means that guard is of no threat to us. Is everyone that we were searching for here now?"

"I'm unsure Kayl." Rancor says. He looks out to see the unconscious body missing, and then turns back into the room. "Did anyone tie up the guards we took out?" -------------------------------- "You are the one who is blind." Trigun goes on, rushing after Spectre and blocking Chaos's attacks. "Our world will not be one that will end in peace between elements. One has to come out on top. You are only endangering future generations by trying to satisfy all of us."

"Peace? You think there is peace for us?" Trigun says attacking Spectre. "If those two get their way, there will be no peace for our world. The only peace that can be found is if there is one true winner. One of the elements has to win and the others must fall. No matter what happens, those two fools can never live in peace, less they want our entire world to go quiet in life!"

"I am not a man who gets comfortable with his enemies." Trigun begins as he forms two katanas. "And I'm not entitled to a book from my own ancestors? what right do they have to enter my peoples temple and take our things. Those two need nothing from me." he thinks for a moment then lets out a small laugh. "Well it should only be one now. The only one left to deal with is you." As he walks toward Spectre, Chaos comes out of the ground from behind, swining both his arms. In an instant, Trigun spins around, ducking out the way and slicing Chaos in half. His torso falls towards Spectre as he reforms while his old lower half freezes and shatters. "And of course this false god as you all see him." --------------------------- Knuckles and Kali look in shock to the loss of Astraea. Knuckles slowly picks up her gem and looks to Kali. "If we toss her in fire or a volcano, she'll come back right?" he asks. Kali could only nod in response. Knuckles grabs his hand and puts Astraeas gem inside. "We have to get this final book and get back to Angel Island. We can get her then. but first we have to go make sure we get to Spectre and Chaos." Kali pauses for a moment, recapturing his will and stands up. The two then start to run toward the temple.

"I see. Forgive my Kayl, what were you saying earlier?" Rancor replies. ------------------------- "Truly a killjoy." Trigun says as he sees Spectre. "If you have no intention of moving, then I will remove of you now, whether you wish to fight or not." ---------------------------- Knuckles waits above as Kali bursts out of the water, placing Astraea onto the ground. Knuckles gets up and runs over as he begins to perform CPR. "How is she doing?" Knuckles asks Kali. "She isn't breathing, her body is showing signs of extreme hypothermia and frostbite. She needs to wake up and ignite herself or she won't make it!" Kali says, panicking to revive her. Knuckles looks over to see Chaos running across the ice, now with his second emerald. He approaches Knuckles and looks at Astraea, concerned for her well-being. Go back to the temple and find Spectre. If Triguns still running around, he may be trying to get in." Knuckles says to Chaos, unknown of their actual destination from when they left. Chaos gives a nod and sinks into the water as he goes away. Knuckles then turns back to Kali. "How's she looking now?" Kali continues to perform CPR as he starts to notice her body slowly burning. He looks up in relief, however notices the burns starting to make holes. Before he could realize, her entire body flares up in an instant, leaving her gem behind.

(ooc: yep, pretty much.) Trigun pulls himself from the wreckage of the fallen glacier wall as he looks on to see Chaos standing before him now with 2 arms embedded with chaos emeralds. "So this is your choice....so be it." Trigun says as he melts into the ground and disappears. Chaos looks around for a moment, and begins his way back to the top of the ravine. ----------------------------- Knuckles continues to keep the three Triguns away as he blocks their attacks until they suddenly stop and look to each other. They then melt into the ice and disappear as well. Knuckles pauses for a moment, confused of what just happened, and then he turns to the hole in the ice. "This is bad, you guys need to get back quick!" he says to himself. ------------------------------ Kali pushes himself on as he swims faster and faster, he soon catches sight of Astraea and swims over to grab her. He quickly pulls her over his shoulder and begins to power up back to the surface. -------------------------------- At the temple entrance, the real Trigun sits in waiting as his doppelgangers approach him in liquid form. He re-absorbs them into his body, taking on their memories and experience. He then lets out a sigh and walks into the temple.

(ooc: i understand. the whole point of the elements is the fact that they aren't from that world or zone, so their power isn't something that can just be pushed over. When in their respective region, they gain more power, just like if Knuckles or sonic was to use chaos emeralds to enhance their power. With Trigun being able manipulate water, and freeze over things, an arctic area such as this grants him un-measurable power, such as if Astraea were to fight in a volcano/fire or if Kali were to fight in the forest.) "I do not." Trigun replies. I am not a figure of peace among enemies, and you clearly underestimate me, which I find insulting. If you do not wish to fight, then I will end those three now and make my leave." he then melts back into ground and disappears. ---------------------------------------- Chaos stares at Trigun for a moment, analyzing him for an opening. He uses his emerald hand to send a powerful blow to Trigun chest. Trigun puts his arms up to block, however the full force behind his punch sends him into the wall, cracking the ice. Trigun uses the ice to push away Chaos's arm, however he had already dashed forward, and started to unload a series of punches with his right arm. The walls conitnued to crack as the whole side proceed to come crashing down. Chaos leaps out the way, grabbing the emerald as it came down, and began to morph into his next form. --------------------------------------- As the three continued to fight. One of the Triguns grabs hold of Astraeas' leg. While she tries to burn him off, he swings her around and slammed her into the ice, plunging her deep into the water. Kali looks over from backing up Knuckles and quickly turns to run. "Astraea!! Hold on!!" he yells as he jumps into the water, leaving Knuckles to face the three opponents before him. One tries to jump into the water after Kali, however Knuckles blind sides him and stands in the way. "You'll have to go through me if you want to stop him." he says, readying his fists.
