(ooc:..........dammit) "Loved me? Ha! This fool was only blinded by his own forgotten memory! He had no hesitation to kill before now!" Astraea says as she increases her power even further. As Trigun manages to mix the heat and ice, he breaks free of the sphere and falls to the ground. As he stands up to aim at Spectre, he notices the tidal wave made by Chaos coming towards them. "Well now, this is unexpected." He says stepping back behind everyone. Knuckles and Chaos come crashing down on the side of the island, eventually making it towards the group and completely drowning them in water. Trigun uses his power to catch the wave and hold it in place over Astraea to cool her lava down. With the massive amounts of water, she was unable to burn through and was soon enclosed in a ball of molten rock. Trigun then lets the water go as Knuckles and Kali emerge coughing. "And with that, my services here are done. Thank you for your cooperation Kali. You may deal with her as you see fit when she emerges." Trigun says as he bows and runs off into the forest.

"Their memories are to remove of those that opposed us." Astraea replies as she continues to exert streams of lava. Trigun finally begins to panic as Spectre takes too long to make a decision. "Look if you don't let any of us out, we're all going to die, cause clearly you're too hard headed to make a decision yourself." He then starts to freeze the other end of his sphere to break out and escape. Kali has no choice but to agree with him and start putting pressure on his sphere as well to wear out Spectres power. --------------------------------------- Knuckles grabs hold of a plank on wood that was stirred up by Chaos's wave and begins to surf on it. He looks out to the island and sees Spectre, as well as the other three. "Aim for there!" Knuckles points out to Chaos, who changes direction of the wave and heads towards them.

"My people are now dead." Astraea goes on. "What they would've wanted was for me to end the battle between elements and eliminate these two once and for all." She aims towards Trigun and Kali, shooting streams of lava from her barrier, melting through and covering a side of their own. Kali jumps back towards the other end while Trigun simply sits in place. "She's only after us Spectre! Let me out so that I can confront her!" Kali yells as the lava slowly begins to cover his sphere. Trigun continues to yawn and lay in his own as the lava covers him as well.] -------------------------------------- Knuckles and Chaos reach the shrine to look down and see that Cocoa Island was now on the opposite side of them. "We'll have to jump in the ocean and swim over." Knuckles says to Chaos. Without further delay, Chaos grabs Knuckles and hops off the side of the island. "Wait wait, I wasn't ready!" Knuckles yells as they hurl down to the sea and crash into the water. Chaos absorbs the blow as he then unites with the water and creates a large wave, carrying Knuckles on top towards the island. "I don't like this one bit." Knuckles says as he starts to feel sick.

"You've threatened that a few times, yet you didn't deliver when I asked you to do so." Trigun says in rebuttal. "This is not up for negotiation. If you do not release me, then I will release myself." Astraea says as she begins to transform her body. She covers herself in a wall of flames that expand all around the bubble, and soon turns into hot lava, melting through the layers of chaos energy. She continues to emit her power, expanding in size as she attempts to break free. "Trigun, we have to stop her or she'll burn down the entire island!" Kali cries for help. "I could care less. I'm going to sink it whether it's in its current condition or covered in dried lava." he says watching Astraeas performance. Fed up with his inability to take action. Kali then begins to slam against his chaos barrier as well, yelling to Spectre. "Don't kill her! I can stop her from doing this! Just let us two go!"

(ooc: Uuh, I dragged them off the island. Unless he teleported, they're on the ground and Knuckles is looking for Spectre on Angel Island now.) As the dust from the impact fades away, Kali lays to the side of Astraea who was coughing hard after landing. "You are an absolute idiot." she says, attempting to stand up. Kali crawls over to some trees and uses them for support as he draws energy. "I had to get you away from there. It was too dangerous." he says to her. "Too dangerous!? What help do I need from you!?" she yells back, finally getting to her feet. "Spectre is extremely powerful, and I can tell by his personality he would not hold back in killing if he so desired." "Then let him come and I'll kill him myself! His kind do not deserve to walk on this land that was meant for us! And it's your fault things are like this anyway!" "Then please, take it out on me." Kali says as he stands firm, facing Astraea. She points her fist at him and attempts to shoot a fireball at him, however it doesn't go very far. "What.....what did you do?" she says looking at her arms and legs as their covered in dirt. "The soil of land does not burn very well. I used my power to enhance it's abilities and made sure they cling to you by first using it on my own body. It's quite simple really." Directly after Kali finishes his words, Astraea does a leaping kick to the side of his head, knocking him across the ground. She lands on her feet as he rolls back over, holding his face. Suddenly they both get caught in Spectres ball as they look to see him off in the distance. Trigun slowly floats over next to them. "This old dudes pretty sturdy." he says leaning back. With the separation between Kali and Astraea, the dirt begins to crumble off her as she feels her power coming back. "Release me at once, so that I may finish fighting these two. Unless you want this entire island to be covered in burning waste." she commands, slowly turning her limbs into a mixture of lava and fire. Kali looks to Spectre and bangs on his sphere. "Let me handle this! I can stop her!" he pleads. ----------------------------- As Knuckles and Chaos run towards the center of the island, they feel Spectre change location. They look to each other and realize his power was now coming from below. "We have to find them before they move again." Knuckles says. Chaos nods and the two rush back to the edge of the island.

Astraea looks to Sepctre and fires a large stream of flames in his direction, burning a portion of the forest. "Do not look down on how our kind lived. It was a time of war then and it is a time of war now. You new life forms simply build on top of an unexpected disaster, there was no verdict on our future." Taking the chance Kali rushes in and tackles Astraea, running her through the other side of the forest. She attempts to burn him off, however he covers his entire body in stone to withstand some of the heat. With enough speed, he manages to reach the edge of the island, running off at full speed and falling down towards Cocoa Island. Trigun looks towards Spectre, who had probably blocked the attack and smirks. "Looking a little crispy there buddy. So you still want to try and tell us how to live our lives?" -------------------------------------- Knuckles sense his grandfathers rage and immediately looks to Chaos. "We have to get back up there!" he yells to him. Chaos nods and puts his hands down for Knuckles to jump onto. He then launches Knuckles in the air at full force and extends his arm to stay connected and sling shot up with him. As they fly through the air to go up, Kali and Astraea fall past them, unaware to Knuckles and Chaos who was too focused on reaching the top of the island. As the land near the shrine, Kali and Astraea slam into the ground on Cocoa Island with tremendous force.

Astraea sets her arms ablaze, causing Kali to step back. "What are you doing?" he asks her. "You've been getting too friendly with me to forget, I only sided with you to get back home. If that's not possible, then this alliance is over!" she says shooting a fireball at him and knocking him into the water. "You see Spectre, this is our nature. We live to fight one another until only one survives." Trigun says to him. Kali crawls out the water, his torso covered in stone to absorb the heat of the blast. "You really want to do this right now?" he asks Astraea, who was preparing another blast. "I'll deal with Trigun later. Right now you're the biggest threat cause of your transformation." Kali looks to her with disappointment. He then covers his forearms in stone and charges, causing Astraea to take action. She lets out a stream of fire as Kali charges through it and attempts to grab her arm. However, when he does, he instantly pulls away from the heat. "You forget I'm not like that idiot over there." Astraea says pointing to Trigun. "Whether I make my body untouchable or not, I still emit fire." Kali stares at her, thinking of a way to fight against his disadvantage.

Kali looks in annoyance to everyone dodging his question. "Well then I guess I'm the one who has to break it to him." Trigun says laughing. "The reason you never go through a second phase like I can is because you simply do not remember it." he goes on, creating ice with his hand. "You grow to an enormous size and terrorize everything in your path, friend or foe. I can only assume they told you that you froze over an that was the end of it. Of course, that isn't the first time you've done this." Both Kali and Astraea look to him confused. "What are you getting at?" Astraea asks. "Oh, you're not aware yet, but this is the future, and the reason we're here is all because of him." "You lie!" Kali yells. "I do no such thing. If you had not lost control in the war, neither us, nor the wind soldier that was with us would have had to use our second abilities to survive your rampage. That clash of power fused together and caused a vortex which sucked us into the future, and destroyed the world we once knew. Without the fourth element, and the means to control you, there is no way for us to return to our time." Astraea looks to Kali confused. "Is what he's saying true?" "He claims this is the future, but I know nothing of this power he keeps referring to." "Of course." Astraea says, piecing it together herself. "It all makes sense now, why us two remember everything and you don't. The time rift made you forget more than just your transformation." Kali then turns and looks to her. "So you knew of this happening and you didn't tell me?" "I didn't expect you to be the reason behind it all! We were fighting for our lives against you, there was no way to make sense of the situation until now!" Trigun turns to Specre with an evil smirk. "And so begins the truth behind the peace you wish to try and create."

"Intrigue me then." Trigun says as he looks over to see Astraea land. Kali stands up in surprise. "I thought you were down on the other island." he says walking up to her. "And I thought you two were going work with us as a team to capture him!" she yells pointing at Trigun. "Why didn't you tell us what was going on?" "It was too much in the moment, we had no other choice." he tries to explain. "No other choice!? What, do you think we're not strong enough to help you two? Need I remind you that you're the one with uncontrollable powers!" "What are you talking about?" Kali says confused. "I can use my powers just fine!" "Then why did Knuckles tell me about you transforming into a Titan back in the arctic?" Kali looks at her with confusion. He then looks back to Spectre. "Oh, you didn't tell him what happened?" Trigun says with a smirk. "You're only hiding the truth from him by doing that." "What's he talking about!?" Kali asks. "You almost killed everyone after I froze you over. It's quite the technique your people use, however all of your thought is lost. I'm surprised they managed to stop you without any casualties."

"It is because of my elemental composition. The earth yearns to consume me. Fire wishes to evaporate me. The wind desires to separate me from the rest. It is a cycle between all of us that give reason as to why we do not combine as one. There can be no equality because there simply is no way to do so." ---------------------------------- As Astraea flies around the island, she notices a light from the reflection of ice on the lake. She looks closer to see Spectre holding up Trigun while Kali sits next to both of them. In a hurry, she lets out more flames and she rushes down to see what was going on.

"By that logic I can't give you an answer then if the question answers itself." ------------------------------------ Astraea makes it to the top of the island and looks over the shrine. With no sign of Spectre or Kali anywhere, she flies out over the island in search of them.

"You scold me for being narrow minded, and now you wish for me to act as a child? Surely I'm not the only one who sees the flaw in this." Trigun says, attempting to joke with Kali. Kali ignores him however and simply sits down to take in the scenery as time passes. ---------------------- Knuckles and the group continue to wait on Cocoa Island as Angel Island was now above them. "Somethings not right. They should have been down here by now." Knuckles says, looking overhead. "I'll go check on them." Astraea replies. Knuckles gives a nod as she flies up into the air, heading back towards the shrine.

Trigun looks to Spectre in disgust. "Very well, I will take a "moment" to think."

(ooc: Locke it's just an RP. It's not like he has her out assaulting badniks with a crazy look on her face. Besides, if shes an engineer for the military, there's no surprise for her to be working with weapons like it's nothing.) "You tire me with your constant talk of peace. If you truly desire it, either release me so that I may fight Kali, or kill me with this dishonorable power of yours. You are no longer a part of this conflict." Trigun says still suspended in the air.

"Dying will reunite me with my people and prove to them I fought for the cause we so desired. Our gems only last so long before breaking and becoming nothing more than dust. If I cannot live with this here, then I shall live with them in the afterlife, or I shall finish the job they started and rule this land." Trigun explains.

"You find my resolve childish? I will never accept aid from you! At least he is enough of a man to respect my desire!" Trigun yells at Spectre.

"I was born a soldier and I will die a soldier, whether that be by your hands, or by my own accord. There is nothing more for me." Trigun claims. "But we all were soldiers as well. Nothing meant more to us than ending the war, no matter the outcome." "So you would have preferred if your country was wiped out?" "That's not the point! There's no need to fight anymore. We can live united in this new world and no longer have worry." "I was destined to fight until I won, and defend what I fought for. If there is nothing left to fight, I have no feeling to live anymore. Either you kill me, or I will kill you and turn this world into what I desire." Kali looks down, unable to change Triguns views. He grips his fists as he transforms them into hard steel. "Very well, let's end this once and for all."

Trigun leans up again, ready to reveal the books secrets. "The journal of Professor Perseus reveals that after the Novanus was done learning from the Echidna, she confronted Perseus with it. Together they too attempted to build our nation into a better society less fit for war so that we could live our lives peacefully. However our generals did not see his gift as such. Using the new techniques suggested in the cities, they found ways to strengthen our own army and soon declared an all out attack on every nation, leading to the first great war. This also draw-ed out the passive wind nation up in the skies, as the conflict between the other three had caused the weather to act in disastrous ways. Now with all three elements fighting, the shear power clashing among them was causing abnormalities unseen before. It was said that four soldiers of each element had clashed all at once, causing a large rift to open." He looks to Kali who tries to think of this for a moment. "What do you mean four?" he says, unable to grasp it. "What I'm saying is us, and Astraea, and someone from the wind element were in this war." Trigun answers. "And that is not all. the rift had apparently caused more mayhem after our leave, destroying the societies our people created. The journal went on to say how many were killed and their gems lost deep in the earth due to natural disasters and separation of their element. The only ones who may have survived was the element of wind, for all they had to do was raise high enough in the sky to avoid all harm. The professors of the other three however decided to spend their last moments in their hidden safe house, finalizing their research and placing them in temples through the world." "Wait....you don't mean.." "I do." Trigun says to him. "They soon met their fate as well, but not before telling the sol Echidna to survive what they've created and create a new world from it. A world called Mobius." There was a long pause between the two of them before Trigun spoke once more. "Before this worlds history and speculated creation, we were here. We built the world, and the others simply lived on it as they saw fit. That is why there is nothing to return to. We are already here, and as the last surviving member of my element, I will complete my duty and create a fully aquatic world." "There's nothing to fight for anymore!" Kali says back. "If our people are lost and this worlds shown that it can live in peace with all the elements, why should we cause such mayhem on them?" "Because we were not created to live in peace. We were made to rule with our power." Kali looks to Trigun in disappointment and then to Spectre. "Is there nothing we can do?" "The wind elements were always a passive group so we will never have to deal with them." Trigun replies. "However I will not rest until I fulfill my role. If you truly want your way, you'll have to kill me and Astraea for it, and trust me. You will have to fight her some time."

"And you trust what I say is the truth?" Trigun says slyly. Kali looks to him and sticks his face on the chaos bubble. "If we find out you're lying, I will not hold back next time I get my hands on you." Trigun looks to him and shrugs.

Trigun stares at Spectre coldly as he then lets out a long sigh and lays back in the bubble. "Very well.....gather the rest and I shall tell you what the book entails."

Kali looks up in shock to Spectres outburst. He then looks back down to Trigun, who was barely hanging on. He stepped off him as Trigun rolls over and coughs some more, gasping for water.

"You've grown insane." Trigun says, beginning to stand up. "No, I've grown tired." Kali responds. "You forget our second ability is our power to heal ourselves at tremendous rates." He raises his severed arm in the air as a green wind draws out from the forest around them. It goes into his arm slowly begins to rebuild one for him, comprised of vines, wood and flower heads. He then starts to walk towards Trigun once more. "It may not be my full arm yet, but it's enough to finish you." He charges at Trigun, who takes the opportunity to lunge at his legs. He stabs Kali in both of his thighs, however that doesn't stop his advancement. He slams his fists down on Triguns arms hard, shattering their ice and breaking both of them. As Trigun attempts to jump back and draw water to heal himself, Kali grabs him by the shirt and tosses him back on land near Spectre. Trigun tumbles as he attempts to get up with two broken arms as he looks to Spectre in despair. "You must stop him before he goes out of control again!" he calls out, however he's cut short of his sentence as Kali comes leaping in and slamming him into the ground deeper. He then picks him up and tosses his head by the lakeside. "If you wish to heal yourself, take in as much as you can while I kill you a thousand times over." he says, staring into the eyes of Trigun. he begins punching him relentlessly as every blow executes him, however the continue flow of water revives him once more. Each time, Kali's eyes and gem grow brighter as he slowly starts to lose control of himself.

Trigun clashes with Kali again, this time causing him to stagger between each hit. Although Kali could maintain him from getting a direct hit, the scraps of the halberd were leaving ice marks over his body, slowly growing to freeze over once more. Soon enough, Trigun jumped back to point and laugh at him. "You call this a fair fight!" he goes on. "You're going to end up just as you were back in the temple!" Kali simply stares at him as the ice forms over his body. He then shatters his armor, revealing his regular self. Triguns laugh slowly dies down. "If you can't pierce my body deep enough, you'll never be able to freeze me over again." Kali says as he draws in energy to reform a new layer of rock and steel. "Let's see what you have up your sleeve now." He rushes at Trigun, pressuring him to counter every move. With each blow, Kali simply reassembled his body to remove of the ice effect and soon had Trigun on a completely defensive. Unable to accept this, Trigun switches weapons to form two daggers, now attack Kali from multiple spots at once. Finally he lands a blow on Kali arm, forcing him to detach his armor. He then follows through with the second dagger, at the cost of taking a fist to his face. Trigun gets sent flying into the water, however it freezes over as he lands in it. He gets up to see Kali still standing firm, however his left arm had full contact with his weapon. "Well well, it seems you can only move so fast in the heat of things." Trigun says, wiping away water like blood from his mouth. "How will you fight me now when your life is on a timer?" Kali simply smirks at him and grabs his left arm, ripping it off recklessly and tossing it to the side. Trigun can only stare at him in shock to his action.

"You heard the man. Let's go." Kali looks to Trigun, who showed no signs of an alternative. He slowly began to gather energy from the forest around him as he enhances to body into hard stone. Trigun responds by crystallizing his halberd and the two confront each other. Parrying Triguns first swing, Kali moves in and unleashes a series of punches to try and connect, however Trigun simply liquefies his body and absorbs each blow. He then steps back and swings again at Kali's torso, however he grabs the Halberd with his hand. As Trigun tries to freeze over Kali's body, he grabs down on the Halberd and shatters it instantly. "You've grown more powerful." Trigun says, reshaping his weapon. "I've grown more awareness." Kali responds as his leg with more force and swings at Trigun. Trigun forms a shield to block, however must then duck down as Kalis leg cuts straight thought. He then makes a spear to imaple Kali with, but that also shattered upon contacting his body. "You general power isn't enough to pierce my body, yet your fully crystallized form subjects you to physical harm." Kali says walking towards him. "Enough with the formalities. Show me your true strength." Trigun looks to him and smirks. "As you wish." he says as the air around them grows cold and the unfrozen half of the lake begins to twist and turn. Triguns body slowly freezes over until he is completely covered in ice. He then crafts a double sided battle axe with what remained of his weapon. "Show me the power you trust yourself with so dearly." He says, charging at Kali once more. ----------------------------- Knuckles and the others wait patiently at Cocoa Island as they watch Angel Island slowly approach. "What do you think it is your elder had to take care of?" Astraea asks. "I'm not sure, however if it were anything serious, I would be able to sense his chaos energy. It's too quiet up there." Knuckles says staring at the island intensely.

"There is no reason to stop." Trigun says. Kali looks to him with anger. "What makes you so sure!? All we want to do is find out the secrets of our ancestors and return home! Why won't you help us?" "Because there is no home to return to." Kali stares at him for a moment. "What do you mean?" "The journal of Perseus explains all that needs to be known. There is nothing left for us to return to. My kind can read anything through a simple touch of literature and scan the vibrations of water written in its text. I'm sure the false god of that emerald will soon understand what's inside as well." "None of that makes sense!" Kali pleads. "What do you mean there's nothing left!?" "If you wish to know that, you'll have to defeat me one on one." Trigun responds, taking stance with his halberd. "I'm sure grandfather rodent here has no qualms with a duel."
