The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Would you believe me if I said this is the first ES game I have ever finished? I've played Arena, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, and ironically the first I finish is also the latest (not counting Online). Well... if just happens so often that I'm distracted with the sidequests. If you're familiar with any of the Elder Scrolls games, you know exactly what I'm talking about. You're following the main quests and suddenly you're able to do several sidequests, which also has sidequests and stuff. But yeah, Skyrim! Of course it's buggy (I got stuck pretty often), but it still is a great game. I said that I finished the storyline, but I'm far from done with the game. I might play it less actively over time, since I have 2 (3 actually) Tales games and Mega Man: Revenge of the Fallen waiting for me.

I had a... pretty big wishlist for Christmas? I don't know what defines big in this catagory, but it's still amazing that Santa (or mum for that matter) picked 2 of my favorites! As most of you already know, Tales has become one of my favorite franchises in recent years, and while I have already finished Symphonia, is was co-op and.. not the best at that either. Friend became quite of depressive (probably not the right word, but think among these lines anyways), and we were about halfway in a course of over a year. So yeah, now I'm going to play it solo and see if my experience gets better because let's be honest, Tales of Symphonia is a pretty darn good game. Also got Xillia 2, which I'm pretty excited about. Think I'll go Symphonia > Xillia 2 (Probably 1 to clear Milla's story, just for the sake of it) > Symphonia 2.

Happy birthday to the both of you~! P.s. Device, there's a present awaiting your return! You'll hear more about it later ;)

Welcome Red! Heard positive things about you from several people of the Russian side, but I never spoke to you in person! Hope you'll enjoy your time here :)

Mega Man: Revenge of the Fallen - No, this is not an actual Mega Man game, it's a hack. And I'm loving it. I don't go on Kotaku too often because the site is terrible, but I did and accidentally came across this gem. It's a game with 27 robot masters, the 3 Mega Man killers and much more. I was a bit hesitant at first because it's a pc game and it doesn't allow controllers (I'm not a big fan of playing platformers without a controller), but that faded away pretty fast. But beware: this game is really tough. I already beat Toad Man and let me say: He doesn't have a pathetic fight anymore. He's pretty difficult to be honest. If you're a classic Mega Man lover, try it out! It might turn out to be something of you liking! Also playing a bit of Skyrim. Even though I'm mostly sidequestin', I'm more focussing on the main plot at the moment. I never finished an Elder Scrolls game in my entire life, and believe me, I've played lots of them. I want to finish one already D:

Thanks for the report. We'll take care of it.

Final Fantasy Adventure - Another classic game. I really am being an old fart now aren't I? Anyways, I really own this game for a long time already but I never finished it. And since I'm in a finishing streak thingy, here I go. It's a... weird game? It's not the word I'm looking for, but it kind of fits here I suppose. It feels like a mix of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, Secret of Mana and Zelda: Link's Awakening years before these games actually came out. Does it surpass any of these games? Eh, some could argue because they hate Mystic Quest, but I don't think so. Doesn't mean I dislike it or anything though. I had to get used to the gameplay though, since you can only move in 4 directions. For a Secret of Mana gameplay styled game, that's... weird? There's that word again.

For the sake of it, I began using Twitter. Suddenly several people followed me there so I began using it more actively. So hai, my name on there is @ChaoticFantasyX. In case the forum crashes, I'm also available for contact there! Isn't it a wonderful world?

Oh boy, brace yourself. For I have finished (within a week) the entire Mega Man Gameboy trilogy!! And now I'm going to talk about them all individually. Because whynaut. I/Dr. Wily's Revenge - Admitably my least favorite of the games. Excusable since it was the first Mega Man game on the gameboy after all. It was just 4 robot masters with stages, boom 4 more without stages, Enker (which was alright, but nothing impressive) and then Wily. It just felt like the first Mega Man on the NES: Decent job for a first game, but nothing more. II - The 'black sheep' of the gameboy games, and I can kinda see where it comes from but on the other hand, it's a bit extreme. Yes, the music was too highly pitched, but if you look past it it's a pretty sweet ost. Yes, Quint sucked but he's just one character. Yes, the story sucked but who plays the classic Mega Man games for the story? Oh yeah, no one.[/] But other than these minor complaints, it was an alright game. Just felt a bit easy, like 2 on the NES. And no, I do not blame the Metal Blade for that, I prevented usage of it as often as possible. III - The forgettable game. Mega Man III was a good game, don't get me wrong. But you know the saying 'it's just there'? Well, that's this game. It's a solid game which doesn't do many things wrong, but doesn't really advance either. It's just there. And it's pretty forgettable too. And on that note, I don't really have that much to say. Good game, but nothing special. So far all of the games have been either average or forgettable, until.. IV - ..I played this game! You can clearly see that IV has a bigger production value than the previous games. IV advanced pretty well on the previous games, introducing items, letters found in stages (for the gameboy games, this was new), and a fancy boss selection screen! I like it. The stages were fun to go through, Ballade is awesome. I'm trying to figure out something wrong with this game, but it's pretty difficult to actually do so. Eh, probably the selection of Robot masters. Why are Charge Man and Stone Man in while leaving robot masters like the fabulous Gravity Man and Star Man? (even though the weapon of the latter sucks.) They really picked the 2 worst robot masters from that game. Oh well. This may just be my favorite game of the Game Boy era. Maybe. There's still the masterpiece that is.. V - ..This game! The only Game Boy game that went a whole 180 and decided to scrap the robot masters, replace them with Stardroids and have a better story overall. Yeah, this game went even further than IV did, and in the right direction. I could only come up with one complaint and one complaint only. The stages look dull at times, but that may be the case because the game tried to add colors. Other than that, sweet ost, Stardroids are ranging from good to great and of course the final battle, which was epic. 4 Wily phases and then finally Sunstar. Just... great. For an overall ranking... mhm. It really is V -> IV -> III -> II -> I for me, though V and IV are really close to each other. But eh, I'll just give the upper hand to V.

Pokemon Omega Ruby - I finally decided, and got all the pokemon required for my team, so I can now finally continue playing the game! 1. Mudkip -> Swampert (Usually I pick Torchic but eh, this time I'll skip.) 2. Ralts -> Gardevoir 3. Ralts -> Gallade (I really couldn't choose, so I just decided to use both.) 4. Froslass 5. Shiny Beldum -> Shiny Metagross 6. Trapinch -> Flygon Not really the most creative or most adviced team to get, but I just picked pokemon I love. After all, these pokemons are very high up on my favorites list. Oh, and I also got a shiny Zigzagoon in my first half hour of playing. Not really that happy with it, but eh, it's my second ever non mystery gift or trade shiny. The other being Geodude. Really, when I want a Shiny I can't get it, even for how much effort I put into it, and when I just walk around I get one I'm not going to use anyways. Oh well.

Yo Burst. Welcome around brother. For all of you wondering, I know Combodombie from a different forum/steam and all that kind of stuff. He's a great guy and my colleague Last Order Guardian, so be nice to him 'kay (:

Mega Man II-V - Since I finish each of these games relatively quick, I post them all here because it would be a waste of time/space to post them all simutaniously. Same goes with when I'm done with them, though I'll give each of them a summary and my opinion. I only finished II so far, which... I liked? Why is this game being the black sheep again? It was easy, short, and Quint sucked. But apart from that it wasn't too bad. I'm currently playing III. Already defeated 6 of the robot masters.

...Oh. My calculation skills weren't as good as I thought they were... oh well. Here, have an amazing remix to ease the pain. [media=]

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages - Eh, 't was pretty good. Inferior to the fabulous Link's Awakening if you ask me though. Dunno, it lacks some kind of charm. It did enough things right to make it a good game, but I admit there are things that put it's status down. For instance, the reduced invincibility frames. This also applied for bosses mind you, but it's kind of unneeded and annoying at times. Especially if you're stuck in a corner fighting enemies that have swords. Because you know, swords repel swords. Another thing a twitter guy mentioned (I'm getting famous yo) is that the map was huge, but a certain item was required to explore more. And with that, he was pretty accurate. Which brings me to the final point: game linking. When I jumped into this game, I knew linking was involved, but with that I literally thought they ment the use of gameboy link cables. So yeah, I didn't insert it. Shame. Which also ment that I'm not able to face the true final bosses of this game. Bigger shame. And also miss out on some items, including the most important item in the franchise, the Master Sword. Huge shame. Seriously, these are worse than the Pokemon games when it comes to linking. Fortunately the games are completely different (except for the mechanics), so that at least makes it better. Apart from these (minor) complaints, I liked the game. It's nowhere near my favorites, but it's not bad.

On the topic of reporting: People are often holding back from reporting. I can understand why, as you don't want to be 'that person'. Let me clarify this better: We still don't want any of you to backseat moderate. If we see something bad, we take care of it, easy as that. What you can do, is report. But many people feel like they're doing a bad job doing this. What reporting actually consist of is you not being sure if said post follows the rules, so you report it and we take a look at it. You're not supposed to feel bad reporting. It's not like we punish you or something. Unless you report too often without a good reason, but that's beside the point. Reporting doesn't get a reward either, but it's your own decision. Please use the report button more frequently instead of correcting someone. Bluntly said, but don't steal our job. If you report something and we agree with you, we remove the post and talk to said person. That's all.

Welcome to Sonic SCANF. To keep this place enjoyable for everyone, we have these basic rules set in place. Breaking the rules will result in a punishment from the staff (moderators/administrators), consisting of either you having your posting rights revoked, leaving you in read-only mode, or your account being suspended. (the time of suspension depends on how heavy the offense was) The rules are, as follows: Use proper English grammar; it doesn't have to be perfect, but at least show some effort in your typing. If English isn't your native language, that's fine, there is a lot of non-native speakers here, so some mistakes are understandable. Don't post one-liners like "lol", "me too" or "I agree" and nothing else. If your reply doesn't contribute anything to the discussion, it might be a better idea to not post it at all. Don't bump old topics if you have nothing meaningful to say. No excessive cursing. Also no porn or shock content. Don't backseat moderate, we have a "Report" button for that. No multiple accounts; only one account per person, please. No flaming or trolling. Please respect other users, including the staff. Don't ask when the new comics will be released on the site. We expect it to release it as fast as possible after the original release, so please be patient. The staff may change the rules at anytime as they see needed. You can also suggest changes/additions to the rules in the thread. That's all. Follow the rules, be smart, and you'll fit in our great community no problem.

Reporting is fine, but for that we have a report button. Got to mention though, many people hold back from using the report button. Let's get this straight: Reporting is not a bad thing. The only thing you do is report something because you're not sure if the rules apply, so that we can take a look at it. And with that, discussion end. It's a happy birthday thread so I want to keep a happy mood here.

PS4 or Xbox One. Which did you buy? (or did you buy a Wii U)
Shadow replied to Warp7hedgehog's topic in Gaming
Or be like me and buy all of them! At least, that's what I did with most generations (e.g. Playstation 3 and Xbox 360). I already own a Wii U, though I'm not planning to get any of the others soon. Need a price drop, because there really isn't anything outstanding that I want. Besides, Tales of Zesteria will be on the PS3 anyways so I'm fine. Seriously though, the moment a new generation Tales game will be announced, I will seriously wager if I get one or not. But until then, I'm settled. -
Eliza didn't break any rules here. Don't backseat moderate. If there is anything we consider spamming, we take care of it, not any of you. Anyways, happy birthday Spark!

Tee hee, I've been keeping this a secret for you guys for a while but I finally overcame my struggles. Simplified, I finally asked the girl out I have had a crush on for a month or 2 (:
