I'll share my thoughts on this
-
That kinda might annoy some fans, thinking it's lacking creativity, but considering how the cast has become slashed in numbers I think we should take what we can get.
-
Quite frankly, I've been wanting her in the comic for a long time. As a bad guy, she would help rebuild the heroes' rouges gallery, but I just don't think it can easily be pulled off with her. Perhaps she could be like Bean and Bark, only more protagonist as to how she behaves in the comics.
-
That information still ticks me off about Penders.
-
I remember seeing people saying The Chase sounded a bit boring, but that's just not a word to use for this story as to what I've seen. Also, will Nicole finally show us any new powers she has?
-
Why do I keep thinking Eta has a wood burning stove in its chest?
-
I'm now eager to see this come out soon. All for the wrong reasons. It's getting so surreal now with the story, that if somebody told me he was going to make Geoffrey a girl and turn Jules into Jimi Hendrix I'd probably consider it true. Because I mean why not? I'm inclined to believe anything at this point.

I'm starting to think this lawsuit has taken its toll on Penders mentally...
-
Like the others said, I think almost everyone who buys it will just be wanting to find out if it's bad, or catastrophically terrible. Anyone who still has hope that this will be good, or even thinks this alien talk is a good thing is either in denial, or has highly unique tastes.

OK, this I do believe is the final nail in this idea's coffin. And to think I thought Salma turning into an echidna was jumping the shark! Suddenly, having all his characters never seen or mentioned again in the comic is a good idea. Well, at least a better idea then this!
-
I can understand your point. I can't say I wasn't a bit unhappy about all this as well. Besides I'm in the same ship as you, since I don't even have one issue because I started reading them here :P
-
First of all, I'd love to see how the guy who uploads the issues onto this site is going to handle this. Secondly, I'm a little divided on it. I like the idea of it, just not the way they're doing it. If they did it with the same ending, regardless of cover I think my overall opinion of it (and pretty much everyone else's) would turn more positive towards it, but I'm afraid it sort of feels a little too gimmicky for me to truly anticipate this with excitement. So in short, idea wise: I like it. Execution wise: Not so much.
-
Well this was certainly pleasing.
-
Also, with the continuity becoming more and more bloated, I think it was only a matter of time a reboot came about.
-
I understand your passion for something like this to happen, but I've seen something like this before. When Disney cancelled Star Wars The Clone Wars, fans flooded the internet begging for it to continue. Unfortunately, despite everything they did the show was cancelled indefinitely. The scenario here with Archie is similar. The fact is that they now see Ken's characters as a constant reminder of the guy that fought them to a stalemate. Now obviously they don't want to remind themselves (and furthermore readers) of that with the appearance of these characters. Ergo they decide to reboot the canon. It's business, nothing more, nothing less. It's hard for me to accept it, but going against Archie and Sega will do very little in overturning their decisions. However if you still want to go on with spreading this message then I wish you well. Just don't have your hopes too high.
-
I didn't really bother reading it, but after seeing what happened to Salma, I think I have a good reason not to. I mean what!?
-
It's just Archie not wanting to take any chances what so ever. This probably means we've got a pretty diminished cast. Hence the sudden creation of all new characters to help fill the very large whole in the character roster.
-
Time to sum up 257.
-
I would love to see him nag Knuckles if he does have a habit of nagging people.
-
Actually, I'm pretty cool with Omachao becoming apart of the team. As long as he doesn't bag the others on what to do, then I'll be fine with him :P

Sonic Boom (Cartoon)
HyperMetal50 replied to BlurryDawgo's topic in Multiverses of Sonic the Hedgehog
I for one find Sonic's legs a little too long really. They don't seem to fit the proportions of the rest of his body. And I also agree with Nega. Griffith is still my favourite Sonic voice. -
To be honest, I was so ready to hate this and shame Sega again for another bad move. But I can't, because this actually looks like a truly cool game. Besides the redesigns, this seems to be one heck of a game to play. Plus we've got Chris Senn back on the job of making a Sonic game. It may have taken almost twenty years, but he's got his second chance :)

Sonic Boom (Cartoon)

Well, so far this looks like an awesome move from Sega. The designs aren't that great, but at least it's just a sub-brand, not a reboot. The game looks actually beautiful, but thos character models have got to be updated. So far I'm digging it, but I just hope this Ratchet and Clank esque game proves to be the bee's knees. -
From what I can see. Most of Ian's characters that he created are in the safe pile, while the ones created by former writers are under question. So for now I'm just going to use MSB's strategy to stop myself any further irritation at what's going on.
