Again, same here. It would make an epic comeback for these characters that have been out of the spotlight for so long.

I have it and I can say without a shadow of doubt, that this game is one of Sonic's finest moments. I just loved the levels, the music, the power ups and the brilliant graphics. :D

My brother thinks the same about Bunnie, I felt a bit stupid for not thinking that. I predict they'll all return to fight Tails Doll.

I know what you mean. I think it's been almost two years since she was roboticised and now finally she's back, hopefully along with Bunnie and Antoine.

Same here. I've always enjoyed seeing them and Bean's been hilarious whenever he appears!

Don't worry about that too much. I think it was confirmed Sally's going to be de-roboticised in 252. So just wait till early September and the truth will be revealed.

I pretty much agree with everything you said. Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) were attempting to find an audience they didn't need to find. In those games, they tried different genres, like apocalyptic mild horror and drama, but they just don't work in Sonic games. I'm actually really glad they've stuck to Sonic's cartoonish origins.

I found the music to be really good. And I do agree that Crush 40 needs to return to do the main song for this or something. I also agree that Sonic games should have a balance with the younger and older fans. Unleashed was a good example of this. Sonic Heroes too.

I think it looks really promising. I really like how they've made the game more cartoonish compared to previous titles. My only complaint is that I wish the boost remained, but I guess you can't win em all. I really like the truck load of references to old 2D games though.

The cover for 252 just looks effortlessly incredible :) I think I'm more excited for that issue than the final Worlds Collide issue.

I agree with you on the controls part Shadow. A story book game about pirates would seem fitting, considering there's a new Sonic Universe arc about them. It could also be a western, but I have doubts on that idea. What I'd like to see in a Sonic game really, is appearances from the comic characters. It would be interesting to see such a thing happen.

Well personally, I think we could be looking at a new story book game, but I heard a rumour that is may be a racing game featuring Sega and Nintendo characters. Whatever it might be, I'm very certain we'll be seeing three Sonic games for Wii U.

I agree with most of your comments. The gameplay looks really good. I like that you don't crash into things and suddenly stop and the new way you run sounds pretty good. On the side of visuals, they are, like you all said seriously vibrant! However, that's what I really like about the game, but I do hope the graphics are as up to scratch as Generations and Unleashed. On the debate about the deadly six, I think they'll probably be no where near as dark or creepy as Mephiles or Metal Sonic. Also, I heard that not only will Lost World feature new villains. but new friends of Sonic as well. Could this mean a possible return from Mighty? I know he's not a new character, but I'd like to see him back. Unfortunately for me, I don't have a Wii U, but when the day comes that my Wii breaks, I'm pretty sure what to replace it with.

This is a really promising title. I love the cartoonish worlds and features. It's like a mash up of classic 2D Sonic games, Super Mario Galaxy and Sonic X-Treme.

Well, I can see the comic characters were the inspiration, but that's as far as it goes, in terms of how identical they are. And on the subject of what happens after Worlds Collide, I don't think they'll reset everything and wipe out all these characters. They'll probably just use the effects of the Genesis wave to their advantage and create a reason why so many people are gone. That is, if the lawsuit isn't finished at that point.

Now that I think about it, it is pretty funny! You have power limited by your imagination, yet you're one weakness is some rocks and ants. Even Superman would be laughing at a weakness like that and his weakness is some green crystal!

Thanks for showing me this. I see not all characters were created by Penders. Before I saw that list, I thought almost all of the comic only characters were of his design, but I see other writers had their own fair share of creations as well ;)

It's possible they're using an all new engine on this game. The Hedgehog engine's been around for five years, it's only a matter of time till they replace it.

Well that's good to hear. They're some of my favourite comic only Sonic characters. What really worries me though is that these characters are erased when the cross-over ends.

@Th3AntiGuardian I see your points. Looks like the internet and reports on this matter are not on Penders side. Although he wasn't the best of dialouge writers, he definitely knew how to make some really good characters. It seems not everything's as black and white as it looks to be. All I want really, is that Archie and Penders finally shake hands on all this and the characters can return to this comic. By the way, was Mina and Mammoth Mogul creations of his?

Here's what I find funny. The next Sonic Universe arc will be about pirates and there's a possibility the next story book game will have pirates. Maybe, just maybe Sonic Universe is giving us an early taste of the new story book game.

What I think will happen in 252 is that Sonic helps Team Freedom with Tails Doll. And during that fight, the original freedom fighters return. That's how I view it.
