Their conflict isn't as bitter as some might thinks . at least not as bitter as in some other video games Dude, that thing with the total anihilation actually win the cake. one of the two factions was about to blow the whole galaxy (with them in it). then, since they are self replicating IA , all they would had to do is leaving only one of their commander like unit alive. So they could start anew with all their Data. Now that's bitter.
