Thanks for posting it here. Well, I think it could be a reboot. However not so much that it forsakes all of the previous story lines, but not so little that we wonder "What was the point in that?" So, I agree with you, it's most likely a semi-reboot. I've got to say, Ben Bates is really outdoing himself with these new covers :) Hold on a moment. Has anyone noticed purple light in the background of issue 254's cover looks a lot like Dark Gaia? Also the description of the issue talks about some "dark power" Now I can't really be certain if the Werehog's involved, but I smell an Unleashed adaption and that just suits me down to the ground :)

Now that was a pretty epic part :) But I somehow think the best is yet to come with the battle between Mega Man, Bass, Sonic and Metal Sonic ;) The part where Duo smashes into the Chaos Devil was really the highlight of that issue.

That's what I heard will happen in issue 252. Sonic and Tails join in and fight the Tails Doll.

I was just a thought someone had. It could serve as a loophole for the Penders character case, but I'm useless at the law system in the USA. Besides, they have actually done that in a way with Scourge.

On the topic of Characters-in-jeopardy-because-they're-made-by-Penders, I think I once saw a fan's theory where they just re-design the characters and give them slightly different names, because of the Genesis Wave. It's a bit unlikely, but I just wanted to voice this thought.

I'm really curious in that department. But it's so difficult to say how their relationship will turn out. The Genesis Wave is one of best things I've ever seen to make a story so unpredictable.

Well, the lawsuit's over. The judge dismissed both sides. What does this mean? Well, for Penders, it means he can move forward with his Chronicles idea, but other than that the details are sketchy. For Archie, I think they can now use the characters once more, so I think fans can now breath sighs of relief. However, if we're going to see the Echidnas again, then it'll be a while, since the suit just ended and you all know how far comic stories are pre planned. However, at least we can now have confidence that the comic is now able to continue as usual :)

Interesting. A couple pictures of Mina and Sally were posted on the Sonic wiki just now and were drawn by Ben Bates. Could this mean something?

The "I've fallen and I can't get up!" part was pretty funny :P :lol: I did enjoy AOSTH a lot, Robotnik in that cartoon was funny, it's just that for a new cartoon like Sonic Boom, I'm hoping they can make a good balance of Eggman's comical side and his dastardly evil side like the one in the comic. Metal Sonic would also make an excellent villain if they gave him a similar part as in Sonic Heroes.

If Eggman is in Sonic Boom (which I'm pretty certain he will be) I'd like to see him as an evil guy who's a lot like his comic counterpart, but brings some comedy relief from time to time. AOSTH Robotnik was funny, but was so pathetic at achieving anything remotely evil that I sort of felt sorry for him. Shadow would also be a really good addition, since he brings so much depth, which is what Sonic cartoons sometimes lacked.

I wholeheartedly agree. A balance between light and dark is the best idea for a Sonic cartoon. SATAM and Sonic X had that, so I'm really hoping Sonic Boom isn't some style over substance show.

I'd do the exact same thing with watching on my own :P In actual fact, I have! I'd just feel a bit embarrassed if one of my family caught me watching something they never expected me to like. But then again, they know full well I'll watch abseloutely anything.

This show has masses of potential. My Little Pony may not be my favourite show in the world, but I do know it's considered a cool program by a bewildering amount of people, so having a writer from that show to do Sonic Boom is a good idea. In terms of what I think it's about, I'm really stumped, but I do hope it might be loosely based on the comics. However, there's little chance for that unfortunately. If it's on a comedic style, then I'll still be happy. Sonic X was in a slightly comedic style at times and look how good that show was. So, hopefully we'll be getting this show later this year and even more hopefully it'll be popular. Another I must add, is I'm not really surprised they're making a new Sonic cartoon. Haven't you noticed they've made a cartoon of Sonic every third year in a decade? For example, SATAM and Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog were aired on 1993 and Sonic X was aired in 2003, see the pattern here ;)

I see what you mean about the foot. But I didn't know Honey the Cat was going to be featured! I'm going to look forward to that. And on the subject of the covers, I completely agree, Bates really knows how make a cover look brilliant :) The whole world falling apart story does have Unleashed written all over it, but I don't expect the Werehog or Dark Gaia to be featured. It'll probably be loosely based on the game.

What I find strange about that cover, is who's foot is that on the end of right side? I've heard it maybe Sally's, just coloured differently, so it doesn't give anything away.

Indeed. I'm still enjoying Worlds Collide of course, but there's so many cliffhangers I want answered after this.

I'm thankful as well. I don't think I'd ever manage to read all the comics had it not been for this site. Thanks to all the people who created this brilliant place and the person who keeps our hopes high by posting the next comic. And yet anyone can get this, just by joining. Again, thanks so much for making this site what it is now :D

Sadly, I sort of doubt they'll ever make a game with just one comic character in it.
