    It would be cool to see Sonic games get better, content wise, but I think this whole "aim the game to kids who're playing M rated titles" is holding the games back. They should really try being like the comics, or just adapt from them altogether.

      As much as I would love a Sonic game based on Archie, I can see that it is unlikely and wouldn't work very well with all the other Sonic games out there, so I just have to enjoy the sonic games Sega currently make.

      I think you're missing the point here, I'm not saying saying they should be exactly based on the comics(even though I'd like that), but the content should be balanced liked them. About Ratchet and Clank, even with the heavy weapons, the series is still a good example of balanced, not too series(outside of Deadlocked), but not too light either. Know what I mean? :)

      I do understand what you mean and I wasn't missing the point to begin with, I was just expressing my opinion on an Sonic game based on the comics
