"That's what I thought, but it doesn't explain power rings, at first I thought they where just concentrated energy, like chaos emeralds, but their effects are so different, It doesn't make sense." Myra replied.
-
"So," Myra said turning to Skye, "Harmony said that your magic was kinda like chaos emerald magic, how does that work?"
-
"Well, nice to meet you too," Tirade said. "Do you want to join us for dinner?" Myra asked, "Skye's making enchiladas."
-
Myra singgered, "I'm Myra, and the squirrel over there is Tirade, and the one over there is Veran," she said ponting to each in turn. Tirade snickered too, "looks like you found a friend, Veran," he teased. "Watch it," Veran growled.
-
"Well, I asked Harmony why you were a good cool, and she said that since there was no food in the no zone you had to learn to make your own, and then I asked why you didn't summon food, and she said that wasn't how it worked," Myra said.
-
"Tirade," Veran said, sinkering," We've been standing for a while now, why don't you let me sit down?" "Oh, sorry Veran," Tirade said, helping Veran to a chair. "It was about how made food with magic energy." Myra answered.
-
"Its Tirade," Tirade said a bit exasperated. Myra smiled, "I was just asking Harmony questions about magic," Myra replied.
-
"Wow! Skye, those enchiladas smell delicious!" Tirade exclaimed smelling the food. "Nevermind," Myra mumbled.
-
"Hmm, chaos emeralds are large amounts of concentrated energy, but you dont need to be near them to use their power, most of the time, so there must be an energy field of some sort, Mabey Skye uses something similar." Myra answered.
-
"Oh, ok," Myra said, "I don't know why, but I've always liked magic, but no one I knew had known anything about it, so I grew up reading stories about magic, most where completely made up, but there were a few stories about real magicians and real adventures, and I read those over and over trying to figure out how those wizards did what they did," Myra continued.
-
"Wow, that's really interesting," Myra said ernestly, "But instead of making a casserole, why didn't he summon one from somewhere else?"
-
"How come Skye is such a good cook?" Myra asked following Harmony.
-
"Ok,"Tirade said, taking a peek inside the room, "now let's see how those enchiladas are coming on." he continued.
-
"That works," Tirade said, "right Veran?" "Right," Veran said, a bit sullen.
-
"Alright then," Myra said as she grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled out a note, putting it on the bed where Honey could see it.
-
"Great!" Myra said lifting Veran's arm and switching places with Tirade, "Why don't we let Honey sleep here?" she continued.
-
"Thank you, Harmony," Myra said, as she looked around, "Wow, Skye wasn't kidding when he said a lot of people lived here."
-
Myra helped Veran off the table, and followed Harmony in to the coridor, Tirade following closely.
-
Tirade grinned, "can you make enchiladas?" he asked Skye. Myra rolled her eyes, "Yea, Harmony, I think it would be best if Honey shared a room with me," she said.
-
"That sound great! I'm really hungry," Myra answered. "Same here," Tirade replied.
-
Veran stared at the floor. "So, what now?" Myra asked after awhile.
-
"You... um.... You dont," Varen said after awhile.
-
"Look, Veran, we are going to be living with these people for the next few days, stop picking fights with them." Tirade said. "I'm not picking fights with them, I just think you guys are giving them trust they don't deserve," Veran shot back.
-
"But you see, our stories are the same, and I trust them, so it doesn't matter, but I don't trust you enough to tell you every thing about us." Veran said
-
"No, I was saying just because you guys go and share your life stories doesnt mean that I have to share mine." Veran retorted.
