"Crazy-crazy," Myra replied, "Somthing thats totally insane," - - Honey poked her head out the door just as Shara was walking past, "Hello!" she said sweetly
-
"What's your craziest one?" Myra asked.
-
"Are they just as crazy?" Myra asked, smiling.
-
"Thanks." Myra said, "I kinda made that on the spot."
-
"Then powers might be a genetic mutation that allows a person to more easily access certain aspects of chaos energy, and having magic talent is a less intense and more common a variation of that same mutation, or powers is a more intense variation of magic talent." Myra concluded. "That was really random, wasn't it?" she asked.
-
"Do you think that powers are related to chaos energies too?" Myra asked.
-
"Since when was having special powers normal?" Myra asked.
-
"I wonder who it could be?" Myra continued, "You probably don't know why there is a family tie."
-
"I wonder if anybody in my family practiced magic," Myra wondered.
-
"Not all people are good at art or running though, so is there a pattern to who has magical talent and who doesn't?" Myra asked.
-
"I do?" Myra asked, "All I've ever done is read about magic, I don't really understand how I can have a talent for it."
-
Myra looked down and realized the flame was no longer in her hand, "I wonder when it went out?" she mused, "Kinda ironic, seeing how I was asking questions about what happens when I don't pay attention."
-
"I was just curious," Myra replied, "I don't really want to come across as some pyro- maniac."
-
"Do you really think I would do that?" Myra asked.
-
"Does it work in reverse? Can I will it to burn me?" Myra asked.
-
Myra contemplated the flame in hand, "It's strange, I can feel the flame's heat, but it doesn't burn me." she said.
-
Myra maintained the flame continuously, "I think I'm doing it," she said excitedly.
-
Myra stared a the flame again, determined not to let it go out.
-
"Let's try again," Myra said eagerly. - - Tirade closed the door and helped Varen over to a bed, and then collapsed in the other one.
-
Myra looked up at Skye and grinned, causing the flame to die. "Dang it!" she mumbled. - - "Bye!" Tirade waved back.
-
Myra kept the flame going, though it began to sputter a bit. - - "Thanks Harmony," Tirade said, helping Varen in.
-
Myra stared at the flame, trying to keep it alive. - - "Hmph," Varen grunted
-
"Yea, I am," Myra said. holding out her hand again. - - "I didn't ask you two to insult me," Varen replied.
-
"I suppose," Myra said getting ready to try again. - - "That sounds about right" Tirade replied.
-
The flame in Myra's hand disappeared, and Myra sighed in frustration. - - "Someday, probably in the distant future," Tirade sighed dramaticly.
