Carol former an ice knife and started tossing it up and down. "Ready and willing!"
-
Carol shook her head in response to Skye's question. "I don't need too much time to get ready. Let me know when you're all ready to go."
-
"Mmm... Very well then," Carol replied with a brisk nod of her head. "While Miles is searching, we should probably prepare."
-
A defeated Carol let out a sigh. "I'm still not sure this is a good idea. Training or not, I'm not sure they realize the danger they're putting themselves in. But, we don't really have time to hang around here."
-
Carol cocked her head in confusion upon hearing Skye's words. "So... you're actually saying we should take them with us?"
-
Carol glanced over at Sarah when she spoke up. The husky walked up to Skye and whispered; "I may not be entirely familiar with how things are around here, but I don't think you would fancy letting these children go on such a dangerous mission."
-
Carol placatingly held up her hands. "I assure you, I had nothing to do with that alarm. Dr. Eggman's your culprit here."
-
Carol picked up the pace of her running. "If they're planning on doing what I think they're doing, they could get seriously hurt!"
-
Carol followed with a sigh of her own when she saw what happened and started to follow after the children. "Hey you kids! Get back here!"
-
Carol chuckled light-heartedly and shook her head. "Ah kids, always trying to get into trouble. Well, you'd better stop them before they bolt off."
-
Carol chuckled with a smirk on her muzzle. "You can say that again." Out of the corner of her eyes, the husky noticed Stacey and the others. "Friends of yours?"
-
The red-furred husky thought for a moment. "I think that might be Sandopolis," she answered, looking up.
-
Carol tapped her chin in thought. "Hmm... good point. Maybe he built a base in one of the Sandopolis pyramids? Or perhaps he has one in Ice Cap?"
-
Carol nodded in response to Ziona's statement. "I agree. From what I've heard of Eggman, he has numerous bases around. I'll bet he took the children to one of those."
-
One of Carol's ears drooped to the side. "Yeah, so do I." Her expression brightened. "But I'm sure together we can find those kids and rescue them from Eggman."
-
The dog lightly chuckled, a smirk crossing her white-furred muzzle. She held out a gloved hand. "Carol. Carol the Husky."
-
The red-furred dog shook her head. "Thanks for your concern, but I am entirely capable of taking care of myself."
-
The husky stepped forward. "Then I'll help you get them back. After all, I can't just ignore someone in trouble."
-
The husky shook her head. "It's not your fault. Are you all okay though? Why was Eggman even after you guys? What would he want from you?"
-
As she watched Eggman turn away, the red-furred husky walked over to the small group. "Well, this isn't how I expected to spend my day."
-
As she listened to Dr. Eggman, the husky began to piece things together, figuring out what had happened. "Hold on... he kidnapped children? Oh no..."
-
The dog had another ice knife ready when she saw most of the robots turn around. At Eggman's declaration, the husky cocked her head in confusion. "Is that...Dr. Eggman? What is he doing here?"
-
The dog was quick to notice the robots coming back for her. Acting swiftly, she formed a small knife made of ice and threw it at one of the small robots.
-
The husky quickly broke into a run, hoping she would be able to help out anyone who might need it. As she ran, a faint, cold wind surrounded her wrists.
-
As the robots passed overhead, the dog could only stare at them with wide eyes. She was soon alerted to the sounds of battle nearby, however. "What's going on?"
