Anyone else reading Universe get excited about a new character 'Gold' being introduced only to be pages later go ughhh as the new character is psuedo legionized in the face.  Like I am all about legionizing things for the great Echidna empire but.. it just can't happen anymore.

Sticks as the only Boom character really disappoints me, though sadly none of the other characters really stand out as most seem an over cliche'ed version of themselves. The simple archetype for characters niches is an aged style. Anyways as soon as I read the first two issues of this arc I had to search around to see if a megaman X comic existed. I would have loved to see that done. Doesn't even have to be canon off the games the world seemed more interesting than traditional megaman's.   I know the rewrite was to retcon all the Pender's stuff but I was really hoping Boom had some of the other comics' seriousness rubbed off on it.  Anyways with Sonic being roboticized more or less in this does anyone think that maybe they might bring that fear back into the Sonic universe? Eggman ruling with fear and blackmail with roboticizing and even legionizing way back when really made me like a scarier setting.   And Sigma looks like a total boss so far in these comics, the guy has a look that just yells to me super villain. Instead fatman... er eggman and Dr. Greyhair.

Is Sticks really Marine?... I swear she has the wackiness and similar look/vibe imo

Anyone else a bit sad that Sally is no longer roboticized? When the story turned that way I had a strong pain at the Sonic team losing their leader and princess. However with her back to normal and just doing secret spy stuff I felt like a golden opertunity was washed away never to be touched upon. If she is changed again it will just be a been there done that vibe now. Anyone else disapointed they didnt do more with her as a mechanized villian?

If this turns out poorly I can only imagine things turning out like the old Sonic cartoon, no plot and loonytoonish.

Yeah no Lien-Da, or Sally's brother will really rain on my parade. Though I didn't know about court issue until recently but after finding out my heart sank to the floor realizing the set it up for easy perminent removal. Granted I wasn't to excited about the cross over arch because I was so wrapped up in the roboticized Sally story and was hoping that would get resolved or further developed. But if this is a reset to remove characters I think it would be such a drastic change that overall would hurt the fan base and possibly lose interest. The story would lose a sense of progression and perminence; no weight behind the actions when it can be changed at a drop of a hat. I can only imagine what kind of mess it would be if Penders had made Sally, Tails, or say the roboticizing concept.

I really think these petty copyright complaints are from soulless jerks or just people who had a streak of great imagery or inspiration but afterwords their talent is shown lacking over all so they grasp at what few successes they had and milk it until the cow falls over dead.

I was never aware of this suit going on and this all makes me sad; art is just a tool for people to make money off it seems. I wonder what will have to the characters that are all the plot points that are going on. If Archie doesn't get to use them I almost feel like a series reboot would be the only thing to make it not sound stupid; and even then it would ruin years of work and story built up to what Sonic is today.

The megaman taking tailsman's data causing him to deroboticize seemed like a cheap 'fix' to save Sonic's friends so I felt that was a bit disapointing. Powerscale wise it would be hard to say, I would think Megaman characters are more durable just by their nature but Sonic, Shadow, and Knuckles have that super hero durability that won't let them get smacked down easily. Did anyone else though wonder if Megaman got an ability from 'Tailsman' ?

My vote would be for Silver the Hedgehog arc where he stopped Knuckles. I am not a big Silver fan but for a mini arc it felt fun and fresh.
