    So it seems as though the graphics chip on my laptop died. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only way to fix this would be to buy a new motherboard altogether, which is apparently more pricey than just purchasing a new laptop. Guess I'll see if I can get a new laptop if at all possible.

      Actually, hold that thought. The graphics chip might not be finished just yet. I'll look to some tech experts, that would be more sensible than just buying a new laptop. I guess I live up to my name well XD
