    You're forgetting about publishing rights for collections/reprints.

    I thought Sega revoked rights from Archie completely? So how can they republish them if it meant they were making a profit on an IP they no longer have the rights to?

    Probably not. But we'll see

    Aww man, but there's no reason not to anymore. I think SCANF would be a great place to memorialise the comics before they got shut down. Oh well :/

    Even if you reach the goal nothing is going to happen. The contract between Archie and Sega has already been rescinded and IDW is now the new publisher. If Sega were then to go BACK to Archie after this then there would be a P.R sh**storm.

    Archie wasn't even what mattered anyway, it was the writers and artists who are free to move to IDW if they want to. They only worked on the Sonic comic part of Archie anyway so it's not like they're needed there now.

    My main question is whether or not SCANF will have the comics re-uploaded now seeing as there's no harm done..

    I am extremely sad to see these comics go, I was a lurker here, joined back in mid-2014, and didn't comment that often at all but I really did appreciate the time and effort into obtaining, scanning and formatting these comics properly.

    I'll miss this place as I didn't really make any friends here other than (maybe) Skye because of his great reading order! However, your nobility to allow Ian Flynn and co. to go on without any monetary loss is really amazing, you really all are true fans and that's commendable in itself. I'm proud to at least say I was part of this community, albeit a miniscue amount and am extremely sad to leave.

    (If anybody is interested, sign up for the Comixology subscription service, they literally have every issue up for sale. You can either buy them separately as they range from about $3-$6 or get a subscription for $6 a month which allows unlimited access to literally every single comic on there. It's owned by Amazon, so it's obviously legitimate and supports the creators)

    Hey, it's been a while but I was just wondering if you'll update this again if you can ever find the time to? (No pressure, don't worry!) Oh, and a mistake I found is that you skipped the Sonic Super Specials #6 and #7, do they fit into the story or am I wrong and you kept them out on purpose?

     

    Edit: Oops, I noticed that you put in SSS #6 as a fill-in for StH #50, still don't see #7 tho.

    Hello People!

     

    I'm new here and looking for friends, I put this in off topic in the hope of it not being moved to trash (I'm new here so I'm still working around these forums).

    I'm considered a friendly person 

    My interests are mostly video games although I love these little things called 'Funko POP Vinyls' (my Sackboy one is my baby). I'm also a small anime lover.

    Video Game Franchises that I like:

    Sonic (Unleashed and Colours are bae)

    Pokemon (ORAS and XY are fantastic)

    LittleBigPlanet (Looking forward to new DLC)

    SSB4 U (Although I'm horrible at it)

    And a mixed range of Nintendo games (A bit of Zelda, a bit of Mario, and others here and there)

    Phoenix Wright (SENSATIONAL, yet need to catch up on these games)

     

    Anyway, thanks for reading this if you did, as I've only created this to make your acquaintance or even better gain your friendship.
